The most common complaint about Coricraft Group, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Customer Service & Support. Customer Service & Support (1.4) is overwhelmingly negative. Customers report unreturned calls, managers refusing to engage, rude consultants, and call centres that disconnect or pass them between departments. Bright spots like Tina Masebe at Menlyn and Koketso at Clearwater are rare exceptions in a pattern of unresponsive, defensive after-sales handling.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I have received. I waited 2 months for my order, only for the couch to arrive stained, the table delivered in gold instead of black, and the ottoman delivered in a completely different colour from the couch. After raising these issues, I then waited another 6 weeks for collection and replacement. Your team collected the couch and ottoman and delivered only a replacement couch. The table issue still remains unresolved. To make matters worse, your delivery team is now claiming that the ottoman was never collected, despite the fact that it was taken from my house and I have camera footage confirming this. I am tired of the poor service, delays, incorrect deliveries, and the constant daily phone calls. This entire experience has been stressful and unacceptable. I am formally requesting that all remaining items be collected and that I receive a full refund within 7 days. Failing this, I will escalate the matter further and take my business to a company that values its customers. Please treat this as urgent.

I’m really disappointed with the delivery experience I had with my couch from Coricraft today. The delivery team arrived, but the driver immediately decided, just by looking, that the couch would not fit through the stairs or into my apartment. He did not properly attempt the delivery before making that conclusion. What frustrated me most was that I had to repeatedly ask him to at least try. Instead of attempting different methods or listening to suggestions, he kept finding reasons why it wouldn’t work. He even suggested that I buy a smaller couch, which was unfair considering I followed all the required measurements before purchasing. I have also successfully moved larger furniture into my apartment before, including my bed, because previous delivery teams actually made an effort to get the items inside. A delivery service should at least make a genuine attempt before deciding something cannot be done. In this case, it felt like the decision had already been made before trying, and that left me feeling extremely frustrated and disappointed. What makes this worse is that if another delivery attempt is needed, I may have to pay another delivery fee even though the first team never properly tried to complete the job. Overall, this felt like a very unfair and poor delivery experience.

I brought a R5000 rug online, the colours of the image they used was more a gray tone it was certainly not as blue as what was delivered. I emailed you the day it was delivered to return, I even told your customer care my wife still wants a rug but she wants to go to the store and choose, i told your Karen I was prepared to bring it to the springfield store or even drive it to your wharehouse in Gillits to assist. Her reply via email was really insulting, telling me to send her a screenshot of what I saw online, is this the way returns are requested you talk down to the buyer? I have been very nice about everything I have offered to assit to cut costs for you and even said we still want to buy, but this leaves a bad taste in your mouth. We have brought 3 couches form you over the 2 decades not to mention stools, picture frames a jug thet cost R1500 that i told my wife she is nuts. I am really shocked by her attitude. just a straight out question my intelligence.

I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Coricraft Springfield, Durban regarding a headboard purchased on 28 November 2025, which, to date, has still not been delivered — almost 6 months later. At the time of purchase, we were advised that the expected completion date would be February 2026 due to the December shutdown period, which we completely understood and accepted. However, from February onward, the experience has been nothing short of frustrating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. When I followed up in February, I was informed that the headboard had failed quality control due to damage and they were attempting to repair it. Shortly thereafter, on 23 February, I was advised that the fabric originally selected was no longer available and I was forced to either choose a new fabric or continue waiting indefinitely. In an effort to avoid further delays, I selected a new fabric immediately. Throughout March, repeated follow-ups yielded no concrete feedback other than vague statements that the headboard was “still in production.” In April, I was advised that the item would be completed by 16 April and would thereafter take approximately two weeks to arrive in Durban. Yet when I followed up again on 22 April, I was informed that they were still “waiting for the headboard.” At this stage, I requested escalation to management due to the ongoing delays, lack of accountability, and poor communication. Following a discussion with the manager, we were then given yet another completion date of 29 April 2026. Once again, no update was provided on the promised date, and when we followed up on 4 May, all we received was another apology for the “slight delay” — with still no confirmed delivery date or meaningful resolution. Waiting 6 months for a headboard is completely unreasonable. What is even more concerning is the complete lack of urgency, accountability, transparency, and proactive communication throughout this entire process. Customers should not have to continuously chase updates for an order that has already been paid for. I am appalled by the level of service received from Coricraft Springfield and would strongly caution others about the unrealistic lead times and poor customer experience we have endured.

No word for it other than theft. I placed an online order two months ago, which I was then told was out of stock and could not be fulfilled. Despite ongoing communication with them I still have not been refunded. Reading other reviews I see I am not the first - and I’m starting to suspect that this very much on purpose rather than simply a mistake.

I am cancelling an order and Coricraft refuses instore to refund me on my credit card that I paid with. I have to provide bank details. I bought the item in the name of my business and paid with a personal credit card and they accepted it no problem. With the refund they insist on the Business Bank account. I phoned prior to going in to let them know I am cancelling and ask what documents I need. They advised me incorrectly. Now I am still waiting to be advised of correct details. The most horrible service. I cancelled the item because it was a dining room table that I was advised you can't clean with a wet cloth. What nonsense is that?

Service at the store is good apart from staff saying they will keep in contact but dont. I ordered a couch two months ago and still waiting. The manufacturer of the furniture are not efficient. They don't give proper answers as to what the delay is. I expect a refund by the end of next week if my couch doesn't arrive. This is completely unacceptable.
