NO seating outside for waiting customers, they wait up to 5 hours, some old. Toilets dirty, globes in toilet dead, toilet half very dark . The VFS web stipulate you can walk-in from 8-12 am- the staff refuse they said if available, you must book. on the web only need bookings from 2-4pm. Please VFS fix this you are worldwide, your staff are overworked, do something.

I’ve app**** for a visa at the DBN branch on the 20.04.26. On the 04.05.26 I received an email stating the following : Processed visa application ref no.DUAC/200426/0005/01 has been received at the Portugal Visa Application Centre where you app**** and is ready for collection. Now when I email them to ask if it’s going to be couriered (as I chose this option) or should I come through and collect, I’ve been given the run around for the past 2 days. Eventually, today, they advise that my application is still at the consulate. So why the heck did they send me an email stating that it’s ready for collection? 😡

I am extremely frustrated with VFS Global. I have been waiting since July 2025 for my visa, but I have received no response at all. This delay is preventing me from registering at university, which is very stressful and unfair.

They dont pay refunds regardless of the endless communication and complains you lay against them .They will only tell you the issue is solved yet there's no money into your account or rather refer you to their refund department which doesn't totally respond to emails.The deputy manager can't even solve anything instead he will also refer you to the same refund department which doesn't respond to emails .you also can't call them as they will also tell you to email the same refund which doesn't respond to emails and you can't call the department. Its been almost a year requesting for my refund but with no help

The site down half the time, on few occassions its working there are no appointments. Call center option 8 (to speak to a consultant) is dead. E-mail info to be advised a way forward... no reply after 2days as per their set turnaround time. I am due to travel 4 May but cannot make an appointment... "session expired" error everytime. Deleted cache, started sll the issue persists. No response e-mail.

This review is for the Cape Town branch. Extremely professional and friendly service at Norwegian and Irish counters. Also at the reception on floor 8, and the collection counters. The only BIG negative was the entitled security guard who wouldn't let me collect my passport, supposedly because it was lunchtime, while it was within the hours provided to me. NO DECENT BUSINESS SHOULD USE A SECURITY GUARD AS AN OFFICIAL CONTROLLING ADMISSION ETC. (After I refused to turn around, she gave in, and five minutes later I had my passport.)

Vfs Global Pretoria- customer service is non existant. VFS Global Johannesburg Alice Lane Visa Application Centre, Johannesburg Sandton. I am disappointed with the service,the waiting period is ridiculous. I came 15 minutes before my appointment but received assistance an hour late. They might aswell close it. Their stuff so unprofessional screaming each other on counters,gossiping about clients. I won't recommend it to anyone. Rather I go to Pretoria or Rivonia,this one I rate it zero.
