VFS Confusion

I’ve app**** for a visa at the DBN branch on the 20.04.26. On the 04.05.26 I received an email stating the following :

Processed visa application ref no.DUAC/200426/0005/01 has been received at the Portugal Visa Application Centre where you app**** and is ready for collection.

Now when I email them to ask if it’s going to be couriered (as I chose this option) or should I come through and collect, I’ve been given the run around for the past 2 days. Eventually, today, they advise that my application is still at the consulate.

So why the heck did they send me an email stating that it’s ready for collection? 😡
