I must admit, that I am really NOT impressed with this new SARS, that we have in this country now. They always advertise, that you must be a responsible citizen, & report any *****/*******ion, that occurs in this country, BUT, unless you have the wrongdoer's ID number, they cannot/will not assist you at all. Its no wonder, so many people, commit ***** in South Africa.

The service is very poor at SARs Orlando east branch I went there at 7:30 got inside and received a ticket number. While I am waiting for my number now my the number they are calling are on behind me ai stupid services yeses

SARS took my last money from my provident fund after I disputed that I owe them. I do not owe SARS a cent and instead they owe me money. I need to get to that offices, cos seems like ur people are sleeping on the job.

I filled for income tax, it was approved and i was charged. then somehow the system flagged that I hadn't submitted. I submitted again then got charged twice. I filed for a refund. I got notification a month later that my refund is due to me, but I need to pay penalties first before it can be credited to me. I did. A month later still no refund. I call to enquire their bot cant verify me and kicks me out. I fail to get through a consultant. so I post a query on their website. I finally call again, press options for other services, get a consultant. only to be told that because I sent a query on their website I need to wait another 21 days

SARS is the worst of the worst of all government service providers, they insist on customers waiting 21 days for results but they can insist on responses with in shorter time frames, they can insist on reinstating 'old debt' including penalties but have excuses when you query errors related to the old debt sayning it is too long ago. I had a telephonic appointment for 15:30 this afternoon they phone me several times throughout the day, my phone on silent because i am at work, eventually i get to answer as i am getting out of my car in a rush to pick up my house keys to be ready and settled by 15:30, so the agent says it is fine she will phone me again at 15:30, she ends up only phoning me at 16:10, she listens to my issue first saying that she cannot see the document that i loaded as proof but then proceeds to try and brush it of that it is too late to query only when i start indicating that SARS is then *****ing my money because they are now expecting me to pay the amount twice she tells me to please hold on for two minutes while she goes to speak to her supervisor see what she can do she and tells me to please not drop the call, 50 min later i am still holding and by then on 60 min (17:10) the call drops. That is not service. SARS get your act together.

For the past 4 years i have been trying to get a refund from sars.At this time i gave a letter to sars to de register me as PAYE.They failed to do that which then incurred penalties.Then i received a refund of pension from an ex employer and sars took the whole amount.My tax consultant said that sars cannot refund me as they have no money which i find very hard to believe,I have been shoved from pillar to post for 4 years and still have no result.I have emailed SARS legal Alberton and Ombudsman with no reply Mr Miller 0828011732

SARS is *****ing money from the working class. This is worst kind of service one would experience. No one can say or confirm why they took R2500 from my submission. I went through the process of logging a notice of objection being assisted by one of their consultant. There is a different answer to my question everytime. The system did not allow me to correct my submission, and then it was my disability, then i was told I submitted irrelevant documents, does it cost R2500 as penalty fee for submitting irrelevant documents? And now the feedback says there was no objection logged, how I do not understand because their consultant assisted me over the phone and it was allowed. They are ****** and their system is also flawed.
