I am angry with African bank, I called the servicing department and collections department seeking for proof of payment arrangement via email. I was told that I couldn't get the assistance I needed. Good day I am not happy with African Bank. I have settled my loans with them on the 13th April 2026. On the record the allocation was done few days later intentionally. On the 24th April they decided to debit me and again on the 25th of May for the same amount that was settled on the 13th of April 2026. Regards Christina

I was informed by Baypot when i was applying for a loan that my ID is flagged for ***** at African Bank. upon finding out last year April or May i went straight to African Bank and i was told to open a case at SAPS which I did and affidavit as well, was also requested to sign on my ID copy 6 signatures to be exact. i was then told that it will take about 3 months to be investigated and closed. i lost my ID and my wallet some time last year and whoever who found d it tried to take a loan on my name. clearly African Bank did not do background check and now i have to suffer because of their incompetency. every time i follow up im told it is still pending. i was advised by one consultant that this usually takes 3 months. its a year already and i am been punished for something i did not do. I corporated with them by giving them all required documents and they still cant resolve this matter. I need management to take over this as my life is in stand still due to my ID that is blocked or flagged for *****

I am not happy with your consultant. My mom app**** for a loan because she wanted to buy me a laptop as I needed it for a remote job that I have found. I asked the consultant, what would you advise us to do, take money or the laptop as I need it urgently. He said laptop. Laptop is still not delivered. I lost my job due to lack of resources but I bought a laptop. A single parent trying to work for my child. Now I am unemployed again God knows for how long.I am shattered

I have loged a complaint with African Bank.Some of there staff at the call centeres, does not have manners and treat you like garbage.They list me as a payment skipper for more than a year,althou they every month debit my account via debit order.If you call they say they will lock a querry.I spoke to a lady with the name of Kahu Matabele,received bad service and then asked for a team leader.I hold for about 10 minutes.The person start to speak to me, then dropped the call.She informed me to update it will take 20 days, it did not took them 20 days to mess up my credit profile and name.

This has to be the worst bank to deal with i have been waiting for an international payment since the 6th of May , mind you this not the first time in order to get your money you have to come here first the company even provided RRN/ARN number for them to trace even to this date no payment no response no respond from the customer center
