Turnaround time in responding to queries
Still waiting to be responded on my email, they don't answer calls, u hold an hour for them to respond, Thier turnaround time regarding calls or WhatsApp platform is very disappointing. Service is very poor

Useless bank with no communication
Useless bank is all I can say. I had an investment that matured and its been over 10 days waiting for my money. I have called more than 10 times and every time I am promised that the money will reflect to no avail. When I follow up I get sent to different consultants and told that it is put on hold due to some information that is missing on my side but no one tells me what that is. AFRICAN BANK I WANT MY MONEY AND ALL OF IT. Cancel the whole investment even the money I had said I reinvest cause you are just full of lies. All the banks I have had investments with just bring my money at maturity but with you I have to run around. No more!!! Put your money at African Bank if you want stress and calling and being put on hold with no feedback every single day.

Do better African Bank
The worst bank I’ve come across, I’ve logged a query on the 27 of February, made a payshap using their and app to transfer money to my Nedbank account. The only response they I get is that my issue is been resolved without even contacting me. I’ve sent my Nedbank statements showing that I haven’t received any payments. Please fix your stupid system and refund my money to my account. I’m tired of logging query’s and calling your customer service.

Poor service:AFRICAN BANK FUNERAL CLAIM
African Bank: I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from African Bank regarding my funeral claim. I submitted my funeral claim on 7 March. After several days with no payment reflecting in my account, I returned to the branch on Wednesday, 11 March to follow up. The male consultant who assisted me claimed that he had called me, yet I had no missed calls on my phone. He had my email address abd he could have tried to send an email. Because I was not getting clear assistance at the branch, I contacted head office, where a lady advised me to send the documents directly to them. I immediately did so. However, when I called again on Friday, 12 March, the funds had still not been deposited into my account. Another consultant then asked me to resend the documents again to the same email address. What concerns me most is that when it comes to monthly deductions from my account, the bank processes them without any delays or issues. Yet when it comes to assisting customers—especially during a difficult time after losing a loved one—the service is slow and disorganized. I took out this funeral policy for a reason: to ensure that financial assistance would be available when it is needed most. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for the payment even today, and the lack of urgency and communication is very frustrating. I sincerely hope African Bank will improve the way funeral claims are handled and ensure that customers receive the support they deserve during such sensitive times.

still not resolved
I was contacted regarding the complaint . A form was sent to me to complete. I have forward that form as well as a Power of attorney about 5 times back . You cant speak to the Third party requests as well, So you don't really know if they are busy working on it or what . This is quite frustrating.
