Showmax decided to disable my access today with no warning or notification. The last email received indicated that Showmax would be available to subscribers until the end of April. Today is the 18 April. Why has the service been suspended? I then logged onto Dstv Stream to see if I could access Showmax there. What a disaster of an app. Navigating through the site is terrible. And the show I was watching on Showmax is not even available on Dstv Stream. Please explain why the Showmax service has been suspended before the end of the month as previously communicated? What is the use of moving the service to Dstv Stream but not moving all the shows that were available on Showmax? Very poor service Multichoice!

I lost the email that i used to join Showmax, therefore i have not received an email to show me how to continue with my subscription through Dstv ...i went to the website, no option to amend my details, who is going to assist me.I called Multichoice, they couldnt assist me

Paid for April Subscription but episodes SA shows I watch not uploaded. It was said on the email received that Existing subscribers may only be able to watch until their current subscription expires or until the end of April 2026 but I cannot watch in April. I want a refund for April.

Showmax has done me very dirty, they told us that it's gonna be closed it no longer there, but now they dectucted my money R200 and there is nothing to watch no new episodes where loaded, plz showmax I need refund.. I yu have cause me alone of stress and your services are poor website doesn't help with anything only thing yu just bill bill bill my favourite episodes now I can't watch now its frustrating dat enough

This does not even deserve a single star. My showmax subscription was paid along with the dstv package. We paid for the month of April as per your email that this is the final month. You guys decide to deny us access randomly last night, it was working during the day. Can you just reimburse the amount paid if your ******** service will continue forcing us to upgrade dstv packages

I am currently a Showmax clients and based on various publicised articles and the Showmax website, qualifying clients received a link for 2 months DSTV Compact and the opportunity to get 12 months DSTV Compact at R99. I noted that current DSTV clients do not qualify for offer, and I need to state that I am not an existing client. After not receiving the offer, I reached out on e-mail to Showmax to try and ascertain why I did not receive the offer. On 3 seperate responses I got a vague explanation that only clients meeting certain criteria (seemingly not published on News24, BudinessTech, etc) would qualify. After asking every time why I did not qualify as a long standing Showmax client, I kept getting the same vague answers. The only conclusion I can make is that Showmax and Multichoice are misleading clients, and are not being transparent on what disqualifies an individual from receiving this offer (in addition to what has been widely publicised).
