Good day Uber, Please note that this matter is far from resolved, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the way my complaint has been handled. I would like a clear explanation as to how a trip of only 2.6 kilometres could amount to R270.00, especially when my original quoted fare was R31.00. There is absolutely no reasonable justification for such an excessive charge, even considering fuel price increases or standard fare adjustments. It is completely unacceptable that your driver appears to have overcharged me, yet Uber has chosen to close my complaint without conducting what seems to be a proper investigation into this matter. This gives the impression that Uber is willing to ignore serious customer complaints involving potential ***** or misconduct by its drivers. Please also find attached evidence of a previous trip I took to the exact same destination, for which I was charged only R33.00. This further proves that the amount charged on this occasion is excessive, unreasonable, and raises serious concerns regarding the conduct of your driver in this instance. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. I am requesting that this matter be urgently reviewed again, that a proper investigation be conducted, and that I be refunded for the excess amount charged above my original fare. To be clear: my trip was quoted at R31.00, yet I was charged R270.00, despite evidence showing that the same trip previously cost me R33.00. I expect an immediate explanation and a full refund for the difference. Failure to properly resolve this issue will leave me with no choice but to escalate this complaint further.

I recently booked a Wait & Save trip expecting a slightly longer wait in exchange for a cheaper fare, but the experience was ridiculous. First, I waited around 10 minutes just for the app to find a driver. Then I waited another 5 minutes for the driver to confirm the trip. After that, I was assigned a driver who was approximately 13 minutes away. I waited another 12 minutes, only for the driver to ask ME to cancel the trip. At that point, I had wasted a huge amount of time without receiving any service at all. What exactly is the acceptable waiting time for Wait & Save? Because this experience was excessive and unreasonable. Uber should clearly communicate expected delays upfront instead of leaving customers waiting indefinitely. To make matters worse, Uber’s in-app Help Center is extremely frustrating to use. It is not user-friendly and makes it unnecessarily difficult to report issues or get meaningful assistance from support. Overall, this was a very poor customer experience with bad communication, wasted time, and ineffective customer support. Uber seriously needs to improve both the reliability of Wait & Save and the quality of its customer service.

Uber deducted R50 from my account this morning for the Uber one membership plan which I did not subscribe to. I tried to talk to customer services to get help through the app, but it rendered useless as well as unsubscribing. I do not recall subscribing to Uber one and for that I'd like a refund. Thank you.

Uber one deducted R500 form credit card without my permission, I did not sign up for anything or give permission for them to debit my credit card. This is *****!!!!!!! I want my money back

Beware of Uber Easts ********* **** tactics to get you signed up to a recurring uber one subscription which offers NO benefits. Basically they trick you to sign up and then deduct money every month from your credit card which can often go unnoticed. Compnaies that have to behave like this to take advantage of consumers can not be trusted and should not be supported.

I never had an Uber one membership and since Oct 25, i was charged a monthly renewal fee till to date. They cant refund me for the past months. I never checked my bank acc as its for small transactions. They cant explain to me how a renewal of subscription is activated when there was no membership in the first place. prior to the renewal according to them and my bank transactions. there was no previous charges. This IS ***** AND THEY ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF BY ACTIVATING IT ON THERE END.

Never subscribe to this membership, I have been trying to unsubscribe but get still keep trying to debit my account, I wrote to them and they told me they have unsubscribed my membership,.. I even tried to change my bamk card to no avail..It's so annoying because I am now incurring bank charges
