My car was booked for service on the 25th of May 2023 at Bidvest McCarthy Toyota Arcadia. It was my first time experience with them as usually i would take the car in at Toyota Hatfield where i'd initially purchased the car. How i regret not going back there because of my workplace is closer to the once in Arcadia. Anyhow, brought in the car at the booked time 8am, body status checked, car handed over. At 12:21 received a call from the service advisor Zanele, letting me know that they were done with the service and it is at the car wash i can collect the car at 13:00. I made my way there, to my surprise i was about to drive off i noticed a BIG chip and CRACK on my windscreen which was not there in the morning when i dropped off the car. Called Zanele to show her and she called the lady Phillipine that inspected the vehicle in the morning to confirm if that was not there in morning. The service/car wash people where called to ask what happened, NO ONE KNEW ANYTHING. Story of my life... The manager gets called Mr Erasmus he said he was. Hmmm wow "manager" , he said and i quote "Ma'am the chip might have been there and you did not notice, when it went in the water it created a crack." A chip i might not have noticed? In right on the drivers side? Impossible!!! I said the car was not like that when i brought it and checks were done, why was it not mentioned or why was i not been made aware? With his own mouth he then boldly so said " YOU CAN MAKE A CLAIM WITH YOUR INSURANCE." I was boiled. Why must i make a claim with MY INSURANCE for negligence that was done by service provider. As i write this i have taken further steps, reporting this matter to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. Bidvest McCarthy Toyota Arcadia will fix this.

I booked for a car services, and they give me the date for the 24th of September 2022, and it was a holiday, when i went there there was no one. I went there again on Monday and they said to me my name is not on the system because its a first services for 15000km but they did help me with the services, then i was so suprised when they want the cellphone recordings for the bookings, how can they ask me that as a customer?? Is toyota not supposed to have that?? So they want to refund me the money for Saturday petrol that i'v used to go there on a holiday, they said i must firstly give them the cellphone recordings that i have booked. So thats how the Toyota treat their customer's.

On the 1st December 2020 I had booked my Toyota for service. I was asked to bring the vehicle in at 06h30 via an sms. I dropped the vehicle and later around 14h00 called my service advisor Eulenda Maphake to which she advised that the vehicle was been worked on. Gut feeling said I should check when last the vehicle was started and to my surprise autotrak said the car was last started when I delivered the car. I then made my way to Toyota Arcadia around 15h45. When I got here Eulenda called as she saw me to say The technician Jeremiah had not started at 15h45. So from 6am- 4pm they had to began to work on the car. It is now 17h30 and I'm still waiting on the car. Eulenda makes me sign the invoices but fails to make me sign the customer satisfaction sheet as we always do after a service. I am now here standing alone waiting for the car to be delivered back to me, almost full 12 hours later .

Good evening.. Today I took my car to Toyota arcadia for repairs.. Dropped off the car at 8 in the morning before going to work.. All was well my service advisor was Eulanda and mechanic was Victor.. During the day around 13h00 i called to find out about the quote but i was told buy Eulanda that they still busy with my car. Around 14h30 i called again she told me they still busy. 15h00 the driver came to pick me up from work, i asked him if my car was finished he said he doesn't know i will get answers fro Eulanda when i get i get to the dealership.i told the driver i was not happy since no one contacted me about the quote or update. On my arrival i was told to sit the advisor will be with me shortly. There advisor saw me but still she ignored me.. I ended up going to her desk. I asked her as to why she didn't call me regarding quote or update me, she said she was waiting for Victor to update her. She then called Victor. Victor said he was still busy with the car which he was lying because i saw my car the minute i arrive at the dealership. He went out fir sometime, after 29min Eulanda comes to me and she said Victor is calling me. To my surprise i was taken inside the workshop were they fix tge cars and theres a sign clearly state "no customers allowed". I went in the with Eulanda we found Victor.. He said he wanted to show me what was the problem with my car.. Victor was busy pointing underneath the car.. I said i dont understand a thing about cars why showing me all this things. To cut the story short my car was not fixed and it was around 16h00.. Since 8h00 in the morning.. Im not happy at all.. They didn't even show or say they sorry.. Im so disappointed and angry, They're so unprofessional.. Poor customer service from both Eulanda and Victor. Toyota Arcadia kindly address my issue.. I will wait for your feedback.

I Sammy Mokoena hereby like to put forward my dissatisfaction with regard to the treatment from my Toyota dealer. I agree that I bought a double cab 2,4 from them in June 2017. Unfortunately my employer who agreed to assist me to pay my car decided to terminate the contract of assisting me to pay the vehicle i.e.the Travelling Allowance. in February 2018. They took the actual monthly installment fee that was paying the vehicle. I spoke to Wesbank about the matter and I requested them to give me a three months grace period to try and engage the employer on the matter. Unfortunately within that period my name was black listed. ABSA bank was willing to loan me money to pay the outstanding fee of three months that it was outstanding but I was not assisted because I was already black listed. They needed R72 .000,00 , I told them it was too much just for a three months no payment, they then reduce it to R 55 . 000,00. [it was still too much and I could not afford. On July 10 2018, the vehicle was repossessed. They took it for auction. Now they demand R214,77.87. Now they demand from something that I do not have. I have three school children to look after and my wife is unemployed, and I am also paying a bond monthly, with other house hold demands. I only earn 15173.45, sometimes less than that. I know I owe Toyota, but I did explain to the dealer about all my problems. My employer caused me to this mess. It was not my own mistakes not to pay Toyota or Wesbank. Now I must pay R 214, 770.87 whiles I dint have a car , residing far from my work place and down town and also no daily transport for my kids to school because I cant afford due to my lesser salary.' where will I get R214,770,87 . How much long will I pay this amount. I had no intersession so ever to owe so much. my employer dug for me this grave and Toyota berried the soil on top of me and my wife and kids, my marriage that is no longer in a good state because my wife think that I am the causes to all of this whilst if it wasn't my employer who did not give me space to complete the car first before terminating the travelling allowance I would not have been on this mess. i am very much worried about the service provider Toyota and Wesbank because I manage to explain to them my situation and also request to give me more time not to take the car because I told them that I love this vehicle and still willing to pay my installment. So I asked them that I am still pushing my employer to bring back my travelling and I was going to continue with my monthly payments for the vehicle. I asked them to reduce the installment as per what I may afford mean while I was still battling with the employer., but that was also not considered. Others in our country are given opportunities through benefits of the doubt, but some like myself are not lucky if its by luck.

Worse service ever received. Conrad Kgomo at Toyota Arcadia is the worse and manipulative evil man. He loaded R100k on my Etios that am currently driving without giving me full Information because obviously he wanted to make commission. Now am not able to trade in a car because of a such mess he made. He took advantage due to my limited information of knowing with car finance. I will never recommend anyone I know to go Toyota Arcadia.. And I'll make sure people I know to tell people they know about Toyota Acadia manipulating people.!!!!!!!!
