Nrb Risk Solutions
Based on recent customer reviews, Nrb Risk Solutions is receiving overwhelmingly negative feedback from customers dealing with handed-over accounts from creditors such as Nedbank, African Bank, RCS and PayJoy. A recurring theme is persistent calls and emails despite payment arrangements, settlements or debt review status. Customers consistently mention rude agents, poor system updates, and difficulty obtaining paid-up letters or refunds. Allegations of pursuing prescribed debt and bypassing debt counsellors feature strongly. A small number of customers highlight individual agents who showed empathy, compassion and professionalism, offering a contrasting positive experience.

NRB making false promises! Firstly Nedbank treats you like ****! When you ask for a diffrent consultant, they hand you over. Then Adriena Soloman makes false promises, I made they payment within period agreed but still after numerous follow ups, I haven't received my paid up letter! Because they received their money they don't care about you!!!

I am currently under debt review with MSD Consultants. Despite informing NRB Risk Solutions of this and offering them my debt counsellor’s contact details, their representative (Lucy) refused to engage with the debt review company. Instead, she insisted that I make arrangements directly with them. This is unacceptable, as under the debt review process all communication should go through my debt counsellor. Their refusal to follow proper procedure has caused unnecessary stress and undermines the protections provided by the National Credit Act. I request that NRB Risk Solutions respect the debt review process and communicate only with my debt counsellor going forward.

Service absolutely disgusting. My account with Nedbank was handed over to them however they have not sent any correspondence for two years now I have cancelled their debit order and arranged with Nedbank. Since the month of March they have been calling me and I keep telling them the same thing and the agents are extremely rude. They refuse to listen whilst they have incorrect information. These people do not update their systems they don’t update what the customer tells them and they phone non-stop and still have to explain the same thing over and over again. I’m very disappointed angry and frustrated at the same time as they are very unprofessional especially the agent that called me last Clementia who decided to drop the colony just because I was rectifying what she recorded as incorrect when I told her.

I feel compelled to share a very different experience to what one usually reads. I recently dealt with Geraldine Steedsman from Norman Bisset (NRB), and I must say she was an absolute breath of fresh air. In an industry that often carries a reputation for being harsh or impersonal, Geraldine was the complete opposite. She was kind, compassionate, and genuinely empathetic in her approach. She took the time to listen, understand my situation, and guide me in a calm and respectful manner on how best to move forward. At no point did I feel judged or pressured — instead, I felt supported and treated with dignity. It is truly refreshing to encounter someone in debt collection who recognises the human side of things and engages with people in such a considerate and humane way. Thank you, Geraldine, for restoring a bit of faith in what can often be a very daunting process.

I wish there was a no star option available. NRB are a bunch of ****s, My account with African Bank was incorrectly handed over to NRB as there was a monthly debit order in place at the time of my supposed hand over to NRB, 2 MONTHS after my last installment was paid to NRB, my acount with African Bank was paid up for which I do have paid up letters, now going on 4 years later I am STILL being harassed by NRB for a collections payment which I do NOT owe them as they had NO HAND in collecting the debt. I have been receiving up to 15 calls PER DAY from NRB to the point where i have told them to Black list me. I will not pay NRB a cent, this has been ongoing since 2022? Bunch of ****s that have a God Complex. the operaters have absolutely no idea what prescribed debt means where I have JOHANNA tell me this morning taht my "DEBT " with NRB cannot be seen as [rescribed as I have ACKNOWLEDGED the debt by answering my phone?

These people are harassing me day in and day out. I've already made payment arrangements to settle my debt yet they send me emails and phonecalls every single day of my life. What can I do to put a stop to this? Should I complain to the debt councilor or report them to the ncr?
