I lodged a formal complaint over two years ago, providing evidence of unfair treatment concerning two separate deals. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response. After escalating the matter to the Banking Ombudsman, I have also experienced a lack of communication from their side, which seems to shield the bank from accountability and neglects the interests of the public. Here are my specific concerns: Unfair Treatment: I believe I was treated unfairly on two separate deals, and my attempts to escalate the issue have not led to any resolution. Credit Bureau Flagging: Nedbank has flagged me on all four credit bureaus without following the proper procedures. I have disputed this action, and all bureaus have ruled in my favor. Violation of TCF Principle: Throughout this experience, there has been a violation of the Treat Customers Fairly (TCF) principle, with involvement from NFOSA contributing to this issue. I would advise anyone considering doing business with Nedbank to think carefully, as my experience suggests a lack of regard for clients and their concerns.
This dealership acquires code 3 s**** cars, makes repairs, and subsequently sells these vehicles to unsuspecting customers. I would like to advise anyone considering the purchase of a used car to avoid this dealership for the following reasons: They have a track record of selling repaired vehicles that may still pose significant safety and reliability issues. Consumers can find themselves at a loss after purchasing these cars, given their prior status as written-off. Additionally, if you feel compelled to escalate any concerns to the motor industry ombudsman, please be aware that the odds may not be in your favor. Unfortunately, the ombudsman office appears to be influenced by the interests of dealerships like this one, which can lead to a biased resolution. I strongly urge the public to exercise caution and consider alternatives before making a decision to purchase a vehicle from this dealership
This credit bureau is a disgrace, I loadged a dispute with them 2 months ago and no feedback has been given to me. Every time I phone them I am told that the they have ruled in my favour but no confirmation has been sent to me. All their consultants keep telling me one think, Kefilwe will send it just now for the for the past week now, all these consultants claim to have spoken to her but her highness Kefilwe will not send the confirmation and actually update my credit record.
The banking ombudsman is a biased institution, they're the defenders of the banking sector. it's over 12 months now since I lodged my complaint with them against Nedbank, in one email that was sent to me by their representative they blatantly told me that Nedbank told them why they didn't request relevant documents before financing my car from the dealership but they won't share that information with me and when I asked them which Act. of law are they referring to by denying me justice I was ignored. Nedbank financed a car that was previously on their books and was declared a right off by their sister company iwyze insurance, this is against the bank processes but in my case they colluded with Jambo Motors to de***** me. I have tangible evidence to prove that Nedbank does not finance previously written off cars/ stollen and recovered cars but in my case they went against their processes and de*****ed me.
This company offers very poor customer service. I've been waiting for them to come and install for the past 2 weeks and they keep providing falls information that their technician is on the way to my place but nothing has happened. I recommend everyone to avoid them
My life has been put in danger by Jawits properties, they advertised and sold my house and after 4 months of pushing alone for the process to be finalsed, on a faithful Friday afternoon 5 July 2024 I received communication from Jawits properties at exactly 16:30 saying I must move out by 7 July 2024 which is a breach of our agreement that I will be given four to six weeks to move out. As I type this review they.are standing right inside the yard and they are demanding that I must pack and go, even worse I have not been paid for the sale of the house and I'm already being chased out. The time is 21:30 on a Sunday and they have parked taxis outside the yard and they are trying to intimidate me, my life is being threatened and it's all because of the poor sale management by Jawits Properties.
FNB is a ****** bank it only cares about their white clients only. I can't even get hold of them because they simply cancel calls, for 5 days now I've been calling their home loans collections department and I was made to wait to speak to the consultant on 11 different occasions and the call gets canceled without talking to anyone and I'm requested to rate the call. I have sent emails and no one responds to all my emails, my property has been sold but FNB is stalling the whole transfer process, this simply means they rather want to repossess my house and sell it it at a loss to me.
Nedbank is a **** of a bank, they refinance cars that they right off and was on their books before the accident and claims the responsibility lies with client which means they blindly invest without prior doing their checks.
When I changed my bank account I was told by Telkom that my account needs to be 3 months and older in order for the them to debit my bank account and since then I have been paying a R202 fine for a mere change of bank account.
NEDBANK has let me down and failed to protect me as their customer by failing to overlook the crucial part of the car finance deal. After months of doing my investigation I found out that NEDBANK financed the first owner of the my vehicle from brand new and after 2 years the owner was involved in an accident and the car was a right off. NEDBANK then finances the car the second time around but did not request for the DEKRA technical inspection report mainly because they know the history of the car. Now the car is giving me issues i.e. the paint is pealing off, body feeler literally coming off, the paint is not the right one ( different paint was used to re-spray the whole body). I have many reasons to believe that NEDBANK was lenient with Jambo Motors and actually aided this ***** by the dealer. According to NEDBANK’s standard operating procedure for used car sales all cars must go to DEKRA for the technical inspection but this was not done with me. It is either NEDBANK is using Jambo Motors as its front or they aid the ********ity that is committed by this dealership just make money and frustrate unsuspecting customers.
