My account was debited in April with the full ammount of R7018 where as they were only supposed to debit me R4282 contacted them with them requesting me to submit bank details for the refund. After submitting bank details to them still no refund paid. Again my account was debited in may with R7018 which wasnt supposed to be debited as my account is at zero with confirmation that my account is closed. When you call the call centre there is no professionalism staff laughing in the background and would rather finish their conversation than attend to the customer Very disappointed with planet 42 and raising a complint to the NCR

I have struggled to get hold of Planet 42 as I have a mechanical breakdown on my vehicle. The new broker ( Inkwe Insurance) that was appointed from the 1 of April 2026 can not assist me as they need approval from Planet 42. Even with their assistance they can not get hold of them. We phoned and it just keeps ringing, send emails but without response. I have even said that I would put a stop order against payment but some how they already deducted the money, but surely would not be so lucky next time and I am still standing with with a vehicle not working, that is not taking me to work to generate income!! For such a company I really think it is unacceptable!!!

Good day I am writing to you with absolute shock and disgust after receiving a notification this weekend that my credit score has dropped by 10 points due to a so‑called "missed payment" to Planet42. Upon reviewing my credit report, it reflects a missed payment in March. This is completely false. I have never missed a payment, and this incorrect information is a direct result of your company’s ongoing incompetence and failure to maintain accurate records. Your staff’s negligence is now affecting my credit profile, and this false arrears listing will remain visible for the next five years if not corrected immediately. This is unacceptable. I hereby demand the following within 24 hours of receiving this email: Written confirmation that the incorrect arrears listing has been removed from all credit bureaus. Proof of rectification from each bureau where the false information was submitted. Written confirmation that my account is and has always been up to date. Your company’s repeated errors are now causing serious and unnecessary problems for me, and I am already seeking legal counsel regarding the damage caused to my credit record. I expect this matter to be resolved urgently and confirmation of the corrected credit report to be sent to me within the next 24 hours. Regards Lika White

Planet 42 will forever be rated poorly from me because is been 3 year under thier contract paying R9176 for 2014 polo vivo And i had 2 more years left for me to pay the remaining of which the total amount i payed is R356 817 so planet 42 to me its a **** most rent to buy cars you pay more amount but less years due to thier monthly installment payment..now they took more than they where requested for settlement and remaining areas amount they are failing to pay me R2600 refund amount on they money they took.. so planet 42 will forever be ****mers to me...

I started a contract with this business to get a vehicle, so now with almost 2 years paying my monthly payment a required without any issues as well as no issues from the company, i want to buy out the vehicle from them, i did call them a while ago where they answered and they did send me the balance to settle. so, i notified via email as requested when i want to do the buyout and then they will give me the updated quote with the banking details. I did everything as requested. But now after sending numerous emails and after a lot of phone calls there is no answer or email replies. What must i do now. Is this company still in business? Maybe if i stop paying then maybe someone will start calling me. I was happy with all the assistance of Planet42, but maybe this was just to get a contract through the books.

I wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding unauthorized debits from my bank account following the termination of my contract. 1. *Contract Settlement*: After Planet42 repossessed the vehicle, I paid the requested cancellation/settlement fee of R9,176. I received written confirmation from Ditlhage-George acknowledging receipt and confirming an outstanding arrears balance of R9,865. 2. *Partial Payment*: Planet42 subsequently debited R3,289 from my account, reducing the outstanding balance to R6,576. It was agreed that this balance would be settled over a three-month period. 3. *Unauthorized Transaction*: On [04May2026], Planet42 debited R9,716 from my account without my consent. This amount reflects my previous monthly installment and exceeds the actual balance owed of R6,576 by R2,600. Accordingly, I request the following within 7 business days: 1. A refund of R2,600 to my bank account, being the amount debited in excess of my outstanding balance. 2. Written confirmation that my contract is fully terminated and my account reflects a zero balance. 3. Immediate cancellation of all debit order mandates linked to my bank account. Debiting amounts beyond what is legally due constitutes an unauthorized transaction under the National Credit Act. Failure to resolve this matter within the specified period will result in escalation to the National Credit Regulator and the Ombudsman for Banking Services.
