Planet 42 will forever be rated poorly from me because is been 3 year under thier contract paying R9176 for 2014 polo vivo And i had 2 more years left for me to pay the remaining of which the total amount i payed is R356 817 so planet 42 to me its a **** most rent to buy cars you pay more amount but less years due to thier monthly installment payment..now they took more than they where requested for settlement and remaining areas amount they are failing to pay me R2600 refund amount on they money they took.. so planet 42 will forever be ****mers to me...
Planet42 confirmed they would issue my refund and stated I would receive it between Thursday 14 May and Saturday 16OMay 2026. Today is Monday 18 May 2026 and the money has never been send to my account. I have kept all email and WhatsApp communication as proof. I am requesting Planet42 to provide an immediate update on the payment status, proof of payment, and to resolve this by issuing the refund today because i even gave them a week they requested last week and nothng happend..i need my money today i got kids to feed up with that money This is the second time I’ve been given a timeline that wasn’t met. I expect better communication and follow-through. *Resolution sought:* Refund of R2,600 to be paid and confirmed in my account within 24 hours, plus an explanation for the delay.
I wish to lodge a formal complaint regarding unauthorized debits from my bank account following the termination of my contract. 1. *Contract Settlement*: After Planet42 repossessed the vehicle, I paid the requested cancellation/settlement fee of R9,176. I received written confirmation from Ditlhage-George acknowledging receipt and confirming an outstanding arrears balance of R9,865. 2. *Partial Payment*: Planet42 subsequently debited R3,289 from my account, reducing the outstanding balance to R6,576. It was agreed that this balance would be settled over a three-month period. 3. *Unauthorized Transaction*: On [04May2026], Planet42 debited R9,716 from my account without my consent. This amount reflects my previous monthly installment and exceeds the actual balance owed of R6,576 by R2,600. Accordingly, I request the following within 7 business days: 1. A refund of R2,600 to my bank account, being the amount debited in excess of my outstanding balance. 2. Written confirmation that my contract is fully terminated and my account reflects a zero balance. 3. Immediate cancellation of all debit order mandates linked to my bank account. Debiting amounts beyond what is legally due constitutes an unauthorized transaction under the National Credit Act. Failure to resolve this matter within the specified period will result in escalation to the National Credit Regulator and the Ombudsman for Banking Services.
I will forwver rate plate 42 due to i dd return the car...so from our previous conversation with one of thier consultant, since they denied me reduction of installment of wich we dd pbase tht out..the onky thing i was asked to pay was the cancellation fee of wich its the same as the installment amount and yesterday from thier other consultand of which is Thembeka i was asked to pay the settlement account of which from our aggreement of rent to buy car that i was taken throught it before signing it says tht i can cancell the car even in a month after signing it and the only thng tht will be needed is the cancellation fee nothng more than that...so i was so supprised that they asked me for settlement amount of R64000 something and i dnt understand it and i dnt believe i will be able to pay that maybe we can have the recordings of our conversation since we spoked about cancelling and maybe revist the contract we had about rent to buy cars
My contract for vehicle HYL 583 FS was supposed to be cancelled, and the vehicle collected before 25 March 2026 as per my previous email. Since you've failed to respond or collect the vehicle, I will not be making any further payments. My relationship with you ends here. Planet42 is a ****. It will suck you dry. They will pretend to care when they absolutely give a damn about thier clients. Just collect your vehicle and get the hell out of my life.
I want to write an update regarding my woman's review that I consented to, that was removed because she was considered a third party and that only account holders are allowed to review. I am the account holder of this Polo vivo 1.4 with planet42. I will paste the review below so that I don't have to write the same thing again and then follow with the update. "Planet42 only cares about money. They do not care about customer satisfaction. My husband took a rent to buy Polo vivo 1.4 in November 2022, paying a ridiculous amount of R9176 per month till date. The car has been giving problems since it's arrival and we later found out that it was involved in an accident with the previous user, and this was not discussed prior to purchase💔 Why can't you be honest with your customers and sell reality instead of selling lies? You are ****. The car kept having problems and guess what? The insurance refused to help nor to fix it yet getting paid every month for absolutely nothing till date. It has reached a point that we can no longer afford to fix the car anymore because the problems are endless. The car has been in non working situation for close to a year now but R9176 is deducted every month. We have been sending countless emails to Planet42 for 2 years now to collect their useless car and cancel their **** contract. They are able to call and follow-up when in arrears to demand their money but they can't do the same when one wants to terminate a contract. Hense I have said above that you only care about the money because it benefits you and not customer satisfaction. I regret coming across you and suggesting approaching you. You have the worst customer service and the worst customer relationship ever. I demand a clear statement and a repossession of the car. Call my husband here **********" UPDATE Planet42 called and they promised to call me and promised call again tomorrow to resolve the issue. I will post another update tomorrow after the call
