I got a call from Financial Debt relief company at 11:27 Monday 25/05/2026 from number 0210172156 and spoke to a consultant. I would like the recorded call to be reviewed for quality purpose since all i asked was the company name and licence number. Consultant gave me 3916 and called me stupid when i verified that I do not find it on the NCR registry. National debt review companies need to stop calling us if they do not information on their services, I will await feedback regarding this matter

IMPORTANT NOTE: This complaint was initiated against Debt Restruct. During the period this matter remained unresolved, the company rebranded to My Debt Hero (@mydebtherosa). The rebranding does not discharge their liability for the actions described below. I was enrolled in a debt review programme by Debt Restruct (now My Debt Hero / @mydebtherosa) without my consent. I specifically enquired about information on a phone call and was never informed I was being signed up for debt review. I have proof of this in the call transcript. Since April 2022 I have made over 52 documented requests to Debt Restruct / My Debt Hero to reverse this action. They have refused, and instead demanded I pay approximately R10,000 before they will undo the damage they caused. I should not have to pay for an ******** act committed against me. As a result: — My bank accounts and financial transactions were placed under restriction without authorisation — I was unable to pay my Capitec loan and credit card, incurring penalties and fees — My credit score has been damaged continuously — I could not access my own credit for a medical emergency — My vehicle is broken down and I am unable to obtain a bank loan because I remain flagged as "under debt review" despite my credit record reflecting good standing Steyn Coetzee Attorneys, acting on their instruction, also continued pursuing court proceedings despite being informed repeatedly of the dispute. The National Credit Regulator was contacted and provided no assistance. I am requesting that Debt Restruct / My Debt Hero (@mydebtherosa) immediately: 1. Issue the Form 17.W to cancel this debt review 2. Remove the debt review flag from my credit record 3. Reimburse all bank fees, penalties and interest incurred as a direct result of their ******** actions A company cannot rebrand away from its legal obligations. This complaint stands regardless of what name they now trade under. Reference: DRS3870 | ID: 7103040035086

I was unemployed for 8 months. I informed you of this by email. I also attached the document of my previous employer to confirm it. You threatened me and said that if I did not pay I would bear the consequences. Without negotiating for a settlement to make a monthly payment. You prepared it on my credit record. I borrowed R7000. Then you made the amount R7200. R200 that I am not even aware of . Now the amount is already R11000 more with the ridiculous interest . I am willing to pay a monthly amount of R400 . But only for the R7000 that I borrowed. No further extra costs. If you accept this, I will make the first installment on the 25 May 2026 . Only if you accept the agreement to just pay back the R7000 i borrowfrom you. I am waiting for your feedback. I whant a written document from you. Regards Leon Hattingh No response from NCR yet.Email on the 25 April 2026

I had and stil have a problem with RCS, Reported the case with National Credit Regulator in 2023 this is the reference number with NCR: Petrus Sozabile Mathebula (ID NO.6812215340086) // RCS Card (NCRCP38) Ref no: C59468 I have been calling, emailing, they have not resolve my case, they are not returninig my calls. Everytime my case is been handled by a different person, they do not update me. I suspect the person who was handling my case before, was bribed by RCS as he was draging his feet when handling the case, he was reluctant and biased in favour of RCS. I jist want a closure on this case its been very long

According to Portia Notatamba Rooimes from Mimshack Consulting, the NCR contracted her and companies like XDS/Xpert Decision Systems to help communities with debt removal and credit clearing. Based on that claim, I paid her money almost 3 years ago and signed a Power of Attorney, believing this was a legitimate, contracted process. Since then, she has not cleared my debts, has not delivered any service, and keeps dodging me with excuses. I feel misled and believe my money was taken under false pretences. *NCR:* Please clarify whether Mimshack Consulting and Portia Notatamba Rooimes are actually contracted by you, and help put pressure on them to refund my money immediately.

I lodged a formal complaint with the National Credit Regulator (NCR) regarding the ******** repossession of my vehicle by SA Taxi. To date, I have not received any acknowledgement or feedback on my complaint. After struggling to get a response, I sourced a direct email address from the NCR website and reached out. I was then advised that I need to appoint an attorney. This is extremely disappointing. The NCR exists to protect consumers, especially in cases where credit providers do not follow due legal process. Being told to get an attorney, without any form of engagement or investigation from the NCR, defeats the purpose of having a regulatory body in place. SA Taxi holds multiple NCR registration certificates, yet there appears to be little to no accountability when proper procedures are not followed. As a consumer, it feels like we are left vulnerable and unsupported against large, registered institutions. I am requesting that the NCR: Acknowledge my complaint Investigate the conduct of SA Taxi Provide clear guidance and assistance instead of redirecting me elsewhere Consumers deserve protection, fairness, and accountability.
