Based on recent customer reviews, Medipost Pharmacy is facing significant dissatisfaction from patients who rely on their chronic medication delivery service. Customers consistently mention late or missed deliveries, incorrect medication being dispatched, and serious concerns around POPIA compliance after parcels were handed to unauthorised recipients. A recurring theme is billing disputes, refund delays, and unhelpful call centre interactions. Amid the criticism, a smaller group of patients praise individual pharmacists by name, highlighting warm, attentive service when staff engage personally. Trust in operational reliability appears to be the core challenge.

Our family have been with Medipost now for many many years. Using their services monthly. Their deliveries have been timely EVERY Time. Their pro-active follow-up calls for repeat scripts was (and still is) brilliant. In the last week week I dealt with Thato Mogotsi, to make changes to my Medipost profile to resolve some crazy confusion. He was professional, quick, and 100% accurate first time. Thank you for your ever professional and efficient service.

This is the poorest service I have received so far. The profile was only created after four days, and I had to phone almost every day. Eventually, after I called again, someone created the profile, but without the patient details included. Everything was then updated, but now the prescription/script is incorrect. This situation is unacceptable, and we urgently need this medication. You are dealing with people’s lives here. Please sort this matter out immediately. I need this medication today.

I am lodging a formal complaint regarding the incorrect use of my personal contact number by Medipost Pharmacy. I am not, and have never been, a client of your services. Despite this, I received a debt-related SMS (“final reminder”) linked to an account that does not belong to me. This indicates that my contact details have been incorrectly captured and processed in your system. This is a serious concern under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), as it involves the processing and use of incorrect personal information without consent. When I attempted to resolve the matter through your appointed service provider, the interaction was extremely unprofessional. The consultant was dismissive and ended the call abruptly while I was still speaking, which is unacceptable when dealing with sensitive personal information. I hereby request urgent corrective action: • Immediate removal of my telephone number from all Medipost systems and databases • Written confirmation that my details have been removed and will not be used further • A full investigation into how my contact information was incorrectly linked to an account • Assurance that POPIA compliance procedures are being followed • Review of the conduct and professionalism of your external service providers This matter must be treated with urgency to ensure proper data handling and prevent similar incidents affecting others. I expect written feedback confirming resolution.

I have been waiting for my delivery since the 14 everytime I check the the courier app they say my medication has been returned to the hub because the consignee was unavailable yet I have been home the whole time - I guess the hooted and no one came out and they went about their day. Last time they delivered my medication they gave someone who was coming in my yard to give to me, what happened to POPIA? I already missed 3 dosages on my medication and that shouldnt happen is that okay? You guys just don't care.

Unfortunately medipost is the epitome of incompetence. I have never encountered a company dealing with such sensitive products basically narcotics and patient info and fail so badly. They have had delays with delivery, delays with payment allocation, delays with medication supply. But the one thing I cannot accept is the fact that they happily delivered my medication to someone else. Yes you read that correctly, medipost drivers do not check who is collecting the meds, they do no verification or anything, just sensitive medication with gigantic priority stickers handed out for free for whichever random persons door they stop at. I'm a patient that is disabled, I have a tumor and am not mobile by any means. My medication was delivered late on priority to a neighbour over 15 houses down from me. Had it not been for her actually knowing my mum we would have never known that the meds were delivered and that too at the wrong address to the domestic worker at the gate. When contacting them regarding this major issue and requesting my meds be dispatched the consultant had the audacity to advise me that I would need to wait the standard time to redispatch or I (a disabled ill patient) must walk over to my neighbour and collect it. When this was raised to management they apologized and advised that they would send the driver back, however, when the driver came back he has simply collected it From my neighbours home where he accidentally dropped it and brought the same thing to me. I'm not sure on law and protocol but the medication had already been opened and was compromised yet medipost deemed it acceptable to deliver this. They do no checks whatsoever just stop at a gate and handover meds and your information that's printed on your delivery label to anyone.

I’ve sent several emails to Medipost regarding the money they say I owe them. My medication is R270 which I pay every month in December 2025 they did have the brand of medication I use they gave me cheaper one which is R189. Meaning they owe me balance, and February I pressed with R181 to balance R270 since they owe me, again they couriered cheaper medication and I’ve mentioned to them to send me medication that’s on my prescription hence I’m paying R270. I keep on getting messages from them saying I owe them, and they’re the ones owing me. I’ve sent several emails to their different departments but no one is getting back to me. I have proof of payments.
