Unfortunately medipost is the epitome of incompetence. I have never encountered a company dealing with such sensitive products basically narcotics and patient info and fail so badly. They have had delays with delivery, delays with payment allocation, delays with medication supply. But the one thing I cannot accept is the fact that they happily delivered my medication to someone else. Yes you read that correctly, medipost drivers do not check who is collecting the meds, they do no verification or anything, just sensitive medication with gigantic priority stickers handed out for free for whichever random persons door they stop at. I'm a patient that is disabled, I have a tumor and am not mobile by any means. My medication was delivered late on priority to a neighbour over 15 houses down from me. Had it not been for her actually knowing my mum we would have never known that the meds were delivered and that too at the wrong address to the domestic worker at the gate. When contacting them regarding this major issue and requesting my meds be dispatched the consultant had the audacity to advise me that I would need to wait the standard time to redispatch or I (a disabled ill patient) must walk over to my neighbour and collect it. When this was raised to management they apologized and advised that they would send the driver back, however, when the driver came back he has simply collected it From my neighbours home where he accidentally dropped it and brought the same thing to me. I'm not sure on law and protocol but the medication had already been opened and was compromised yet medipost deemed it acceptable to deliver this. They do no checks whatsoever just stop at a gate and handover meds and your information that's printed on your delivery label to anyone.
I had a deeply concerning experience at this hospital. The lack of organization and basic medical equipment, like pill cutters in the wards, was alarming. Nurses seemed uninformed about the medications they were administering, and I was almost given a dangerously incorrect dose of tablets. If I hadn't noticed the mistake myself, it could have led to serious harm. Overall, the lack of communication among doctors and the poor patient care standards make this hospital a place I cannot recommend. They need urgent improvements in training, organization, and patient safety protocols.
We chose Britannia for my grandparents’ 54th wedding anniversary. What should have been a beautiful celebration was completely ruined by the manager, Wayne. Let me be clear. The waitress, Nando, was outstanding. Warm, kind, attentive. The food was also excellent. No complaints there. But the manager? Absolutely unacceptable. While my grandfather was still eating, he came to the table and pushed the bill without even asking if we wanted anything else. No dessert, no courtesy, nothing. This was an anniversary. My 80-year-old grandmother, who uses a walking aid, asked for a finger bowl. The waitress had already agreed and was in the process of arranging it. Wayne jumped in, shut it down, and told her to go to the bathroom. In a rude tone. She had to explain to him that she physically cannot walk like that. Completely unnecessary. Completely disrespectful. During payment, my mother clearly said do not tap the card. He ignored her and tapped it anyway, then made a comment as if customers don’t understand their own cards. He then chose the wrong account type and had to redo the entire transaction. To top it off, as we were leaving, we watched him walk out, get into his car, and leave before customers had even exited. Clearly more focused on going home than doing his job. The waitressing staff were excellent. The food was excellent. But the manager was rude, dismissive, and honestly one of the worst hospitality experiences I’ve had. Do better.
