Our family have been with Medipost now for many many years. Using their services monthly. Their deliveries have been timely EVERY Time. Their pro-active follow-up calls for repeat scripts was (and still is) brilliant. In the last week week I dealt with Thato Mogotsi, to make changes to my Medipost profile to resolve some crazy confusion. He was professional, quick, and 100% accurate first time. Thank you for your ever professional and efficient service.
Last night, 3 December, 2025, at about 19:20, I was travelling from JHB to Klerksdorp. As I entered the outskirts of Potchefstroom, a RAM Couriers bakkie, REG NUMBER JM72MS GP, pulled out of the "Potch Truck Inn", and drove across the double-lane into my lane in front of me. I had to brake hard not to crash into this bakkie. The driver flashed his hazards to acknowledge his mistake. For the record - it was dark, and the roads were damp from earlier rain. I kept driving behind him. When we reached the built-up area, he started driving faster, aggressively switched lanes without indicating, and started overtaking vehicles. I stayed within visual range to him. Then, in Nelson Mandela Drive, the driver pulled over in a stretch of parking lane, where trucks often pull over. The driver got out and moved to the back op the bakkie. I passed the bakkie. About a kilometer further, an identical bakkie came past me but with a different REG Number - MG94RW GP. Also drove fast and reckless. I can't help but wonder if the driver switched License Plates.
Call Centre person (Code TKTKFMC) phoned me on Friday. She tried to 'upgrade" me, but I declined. Suddenly, Saturday morning, I cannot phone a hospital in pretoria on an 012 number. I get a message to say that my account has been restricted. I actually went into a Telkom store where they couldn;t help me - they didn't know what was wrong and they actually referred me to PHONE enquiries from my phone. For the life of me I couldn't get someone on the line to help me. USELESS!! FRUSTRATING!! Stores are useless for anything other than selling stuff. STAY AWAY from from Telkom, and especially from Telkom CONTRACTS!! Once you have it, its like AIDS - you struggle to get rid of it.
I am a regular customer of Medipost with more requirements (I think) than the average Medipost customer. In general, Medipost gets 100% rating from me. They are very well organised, and their service has ALWAYS been perfect to me. But I want to specifically thank 2 people in particular: * A man by the name of Pollen (I don't know his surname). He helped me twice in the past over the last 18 months or so, and he absolutely went over and above the normal expectation for me, and helped on very short notice to get a complicated order sorted out and delivered. * Cindy-Lee Warries: She also helped me twice over the last 12 months with non-standard requiremetns, and she absolutely nailed it. Very efficient, proactive service, with excellent feedback and communication. Thank you very much to MediPost, Pollen an Cindy-Lee. You absolutely EXCELL in your client service, and will keep me as a loyal customer. Wish you the very best.
I had to get my dad's monthly chronic medication from Dis-Chem Klerksdorp for the last 2 months. There were some complications with the medical aid since we moved from a different town and previously obtained the medication from a different pharmacy. The staff at Dis-Chem Klerksdorp are just simply THE BEST that i ever dealt with. They were helpful, patient, friendly and very efficient. They pro-actively advised me on issues that I will experience, and also advised how to fix the issues. And it worked out perfectly. I SPECIFICALLY dealt with, and want to THANK these 4 individuals in particular: - Arline Zerbe - Grizel Hele - Zelda Harmzen - Charlene Crous Thank you VERY VERY MUCH for your excellent Service. Very much appreciated.
ABSA IHome Owners insurance didn't pay a claim on my house, They went through extreme measures to go and find clauses in the insurance T & Cs, that was created more than 20 years after my house was built. and more than 10 years after I bought this property. They *****ed me over. Things happened in my life. I need to sell my house. Get a cash offer and when I contact the bank to give notice, I first of all failed the online security questionnaire, which is a F*****N dumb POS software that gets confused by companies doing business with names with they are not registered with. So I need to go into a bank. The security message that was sent to my registered phone number didn't come up on my phone. Useless SYSTEMS! The next think I am told is that I will pay a penalty because I didn't give the bank 90 days notice. YOU F****N GREEDY POS BANK. *****ing people just further and further into the ground. I am DONE with ABSA - I will rather remove myself from this earth than to do business with them. EVER AGAIN. IMMORAL *******S!
My son used a RAIN modem in 2020. When Covid started, we sent an email notification for the CANCELLATION of the service. Rain never responded to our email. Eventually we managed to arrange the return of the modem through RAM Couriers. The modem was collected and returned. NO communication from RAIN. Now, out of the blue, we are receiving a phone call from COLLECTORS for outstanding monies. We were never informed that RAIN thinks we owe them money. USELESS ******** Company. Their admin sux!!! Terrible customer service. Now they want to make us pay for their incompetence and **** poor service. Pathetic! There should be a CLASS ACTION suit against this company.
Can't cancel a landline in-store, or by phoning in. This is ludicrous. I submitted the online form to cancel our landline and internet service, WITH CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS to retain our email addresses. Sure as nuts, the IDIOTS at TELKOM BROKE my email address, and did not communicate to me. Took 3 days to get my email address to work. Now my wife's email address broken by Telkom "Support" staff. Online chat function not answered Monday and yesterday (14 & 15 Aug 2018). Support staff only available from 08:00 onwards. Pathetic!! Many people start working from 07:00 onwards. USELESS!!! Only reason Telkom still alive is GOVERNMENT protection. My Fibre support question was answered after hours by my ISP support staff!!! And their service is cheaper that TELKOM!!!
Good day I just want to give credit and compliments to Sweetness Baloyi – a Consultant at the Centurion Mall Branch (Shop 68 & 69) – lower level. I came in to a do a Flexi Reserve withdrawal. We (my wife and I) asked her for advice. She explained some options to us with great care and patience, and assisted us through the process of opening a transactional account. I found her conduct very professional yet friendly, accurate and client-centric. My wife and I really appreciated her service and have a very high regard of her. My bank details for monthly premiums needed to change. I logged a call through Discovery's Web Portal. <br> Within an hour, an Afrikaans speaking person (my language), phoned me from Eastern Cape (PE?), confirmed my details and request, and effected the change. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the person who assisted me, but he was so friendly, professional and efficient. I would like to thank and compliment him for such great service. <br> I am totally blown away by such spot on, personalised, efficient service. Well done Discovery, and my Hero in the Eastern Cape.<br> Sarel.
