Following my husband's admission to the hospital via ambulance, the staff at Vincent Pallotti only app**** for an authorisation number 3 weeks later. All of the bills relating to his hospital stay, have been short paid by the medical aid due to the delay by Life Healthcare. This mistake is now potentially going to cost me R14k and it's impossible to get through to someone at the hospital.

COMPLAIN REGARDING DR LF BRUINDERS RUDE RECEPTIONIST IN WITBANK The rude and ****** treatment we received at Cosmos Hospital is heart breaking. Our 2year old daughter was due for check up on the 22 May 2026 however the doctor rescheduled for the 26 May 2026. While we were waiting forever for the doctor in her surgery. Our daughter became restless and distressed we gave her water to come her down. A rude white receptionist shouted "Hey Sesi no water is allowed" my daughter became more agitated. We decided to give her a banana instead. Again that rude voice shouted "No eating rather go outside" mind you my 2year daughter has a knee fracture. The doctor was taking for ever, the line was not moving. There is no way that a two year old will be denied eating her own food. And if it's a rule it's definitely a stupid one. You cannot keep people for long and expect them not to even drink water. How are we suppose to take our pills? I regret taking my daughter to that hospital especially to those rude white ******s receptionist. I tell you if it was a white kid she was going to be treated with respect and dignity. My name is Manthako, today 25 May 2026, I went to life healthcare nursing college at Springs campus to get information about the application process as there are no application online, and I was met with a security guard by the name of Edward Mulaudzi who said he was not allowed to open the gate for anyone, I then asked him to please call the relevant person I can speak to with regards to application as I want information, he warned me that should the lady at the reception come she is going to shout at me, I told him it's fine he should call her. The white lady came already with a negative attitude to attend to me, saying I'm there to attack her and that I might be having a gun on me for all she knows, I then asked her if she knows about the legal and ethical frameworks that under batho pele principles there is curtesy and information, of which she said she doesn't care and then she turned her back on me and left me at the gate, I asked her what her name was, she just continued to walk, I then asked the security guard what the name of the lady was, he was afraid to give a name saying the lady is a receptionist but he cannot disclose her name. My concern is if they are able to treat people like this, is it the right institute for one to take their children at, I'm just wondering if the same negative attitude I was given at the gate is the same attitude that is being given to the students. I am really disappointed by the way that lady carried herself, it was really unprofessional and ********* for someone who is on duty.

The life FLORA hospital has been my worse experience. I went there 2/2/26 for an emergency on my 2nd trimester and it was so appaling. The admin staff there are never happy and they even messed up my claim with my medical aid. I have recently tried to contact them multiple times at their head office and even got my call cut off. I'm still waiting to someone to get back to me regarding my claim details for a doctor human I saw and some Daniel at their head office. Just to get a report of my casualty report as still been unproductive. The doctors rooms ran tests for about R3000 for which I have no results yet......plus they took this off my savings ....general practioners not even a qualified gynae from Richard's and partners. I will never go back to this horrible hospital and even at event of giving birth I will drive an hour away just to go to Glynwood life just to be treat with respect and care. And doctors who make it a worthwhile experience

My experience with this hospital on the 1st of May 2026 was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. I was brought in with a dislocated knee cap, from the nurses in the ER I had to wait 3 hours(a few minutes before being discharged) just to use the bathroom. I was not examined by a doctor, no follow up explanation or guidance on next steps or who I am referred to for recovery. I was seen by 2 doctors, I was examined by the first one which then disappeared as shifts were being changed, the second doctor (Dr Dieudonne Ngoma) was completely *********** as he did not in anyway examine my X-rays, no follow up on next steps, did not even give me a referral letter or my X-rays, I was discharged without ANY leg support and refusal from the doctor to even bandage my leg or provide any support, I was discharged in the same condition I was brought in.

Very disappointing experience at Life Fourways Hospital. I was referred by a GP for admission due to pneumonia, yet I waited in casualty for over 6 hours without proper attention. My X-rays and referral report from my GP, which clearly stipulated that I had pneumonia, were not even reviewed. At one point I waited alone in a room for over an hour with no staff member returning to update me. Instead of assessing the information already provided, there seemed to be constant focus on sending me for additional blood tests and a CT scan. In all that time, I was not even offered something as basic as water. The lack of communication, urgency, and compassion during such a stressful and difficult time was extremely upsetting. The CT scan eventually confirmed that I had pneumonia, and I was then admitted. The following day, I waited again just to see a doctor and was only given paracetamol for pain relief, with very little communication regarding further treatment or the plan going forward. When someone is struggling to breathe and dealing with a serious infection, patients deserve better care, communication, and empathy than what I experienced here.
