Absolutely amazing service. I would highly reccomend. The staff was so friendly and professional. Made my horrible accident easier to bare. Not only that but my car came back as good as new.

Now known as Fix Auto. Outsurance chose them for the repairs on my car. We have had the best experience, as the car was fixed within two weeks, as they promised us. They went above and beyond and the car looks brand new now. By far the best experience I have had with a car repairs service yet. Everything was done professionally and Jabu worked hard to get our car done on time. I would definitely use their services again.

On Monday 16 January 2017, my car was booked into Auto Salon (as recommended by my insurance company Outsurance) in Randburg for repairs on my front driver’s door. I was not given an estimate of when the car would be ready for collection. The person at Auto Salon said they would contact me to let me know when my car would be ready.

The next week on Monday 23rd January, after not hearing from anyone, I called Auto Salon and spoke to the lady at reception. She said she would enquire when my car would be ready and let me know shortly. I heard nothing further from Auto Salon. I then also contacted Outsurance via email to ask them to follow up when my car would be ready as I was getting no response from Auto Salon.

I then received an email from Outsurance on 25 January 2017 to say that Auto Salon were still busy with my car – no idea of how long or when it would be ready. I made another phone call to Outsurance and told them that this service was not good enough and they needed to follow up with their clients’ cars. On 26 January I received an sms from Auto Salon to say that my car will be ready on Tuesday 31 January 2017 (which incidentally, they put as 31/02/07).

Today, Monday 30 January, I receive another sms from Auto Salon telling me that due to them having to order parts, my car will not be ready until Friday 3rd February (incidentally, their dates were all wrong on the sms again – they put 03/01/2017 instead of 03/02/2017). Clearly whoever sends these sms’s is not concentrating on what they are typing to the clients either.

I am not understanding how they can tell me my car will be ready on Tuesday and then the day before they suddenly have to order parts! As a matter of interest as well, I received two messages from my tracker company to say that my car was on the move. As they are only fixed a door, I cannot see that the car had to be test driven or driven at all unless to move it from one repair area to another. I am now not trusting this company at all and am wondering whether their staff are driving the cars around whilst they are in for repair.

I am furious and called Outsurance today to assist me with this. Yes, they apologised, and have spoken to the head of claims and the head of whatever department, and supposedly to Auto Salon, but up to now I have not received any feedback except for Outsurance to check if I had received a call from Auto Salon, which obviously I have not.

I will definitely not ever use Auto Salon for anything or recommend them for anything to anyone, and I would suggest to Outsurance that they refrain from using Auto Salon, as this is dragging their name down as well. This is unacceptable and unfortunately we are at the mercy of these service providers now to return our car at some stage – who knows when????

I will also be looking out for another insurance company for sure. I would suggest to anyone out there looking for an insurance company to not always go for the biggest, and also not the cheapest company, as Outsurance claims to be. Do some checks on Hello Peter and on the sites before you make a decision in future on what car insurance to use.

I am forever hopeful that I will get my car back by the weekend – but who knows???

We were referred to Auto Salon in Randburg by OUTsurance for damage assessment after a minor accident. The initial appointment was for 10:00 on 08/12/2016 but I had a business appointment at that time so I arranged with Brandon to be there at 08:00. When I got there I was told that Brandon was "not in today", and nobody knew anything about the assessment. Vincent kindly helped me out. The car was booked in and repairs done. A few days after, I replaced brake pads and discovered that the left front CV Joint Boot had been damaged during the repair process and the grease was splashed all over. My wife contacted OUTsurance who instructed Auto Salon to contact us, which they duly did and I arranged with Alex to bring the car in so he could look at the damage they had caused. He immediately made a phone call after which he told me that he would have the parts the next day and we arranged for the repairs to be done Saturday 07 Jan 2017. When I got to the shop on Saturday morning I was told that "Alex is not in". Once again nobody knew anything about the repairs that had to be done. The receptionist lady said they would arrange to collect the car on Monday 09 Jan 2017 and do the repairs. As we had not heard from Auto Salon by around 10:00 I tried to phone them but the phone rang two or three times and then stopped ringing. This happened three or four times - I don't know if they were having problems with their phones or if they were blocking my number. All in all, I think the service is very unprofessional and is a poor reflection on OUTsurance, as they are a nominated service provider for OUTsurance.

I was in a minor left front collision end of Oct 2016,

On the 1st Nov my car was send to AUTO SALON SA via my insurance namely OUTsurance. a week later I was advised that my car will be ready the 25th Nov. Most panelbeaters take avg 10 working days, and then you have your car back. Never the less.

During the repair time, not once was I kept up to date as to how far the car is etc., constantly I had to phone, just to receive the worst service anyway.

On the 25th I went to collect my car – to my shock. My car was in a more devastating condition. Such as the following:

· Inside indicators not working

· Light switch broken

· Incorrect headlights and lamps installed

· Headlights literally loose, and flapping while driving

· Bonnet that was replaced, not aligned and has scratches and dents on it

· Vendor that was replaced, not aligned and has scratched and dents on it

· Tow cap stolen and then replaced with someone else’s broken one

I had to return the car back the next day, for all faults to be rectified. With this in mind, I could not get hold of the manager Lebo once – disgusting customer service!!!

My insurance rental period had expired, so they as the panelbeaters gave me their personal curtesy car, this car was in an even more devastating that my car was, seats broken and dirty, radio player does work, car bashed and and and – looked like a real backyard car, if you know what I mean.

Anyway, I was then told I will have my car that Friday 2 Dec, I went to collect my car AGAIN – to my shock AGAIN – the car still has issues, and even more that wasn’t even there in the first place!!!Such as:

· They replaced the bonnet again – still not aligned and dented

· Vender not aligned

· Terrible paint work, the colours on the various panels don’t match

OUTsurance is now sending the car to another panelbeater namely North City Panelbeaters for a 3rd repair to be carried out – let’s hope they know what they doing, as its very clear AUTO SALON SA doesn’t.

I have reported them to the CRA and AA by whom they are accredited, as I cannot in my right mind understand how these people can be accredited by such big companies and insurance companies - Shocking.

People, who read this, please stay far away from these *****s, and refuse to have your car be taken to them!!!

Make no mistake, some of the staff try hard, like Cosmos (sp?), but whilst they do repair the original damage (mostly), they cause more!! Some of the admin staff are lacking in customer service training and in our occasion accusatory (of trying to defraud the insurance company???). They are trying to repair their damage now, let's see… OUTSURANCE authorised repair centre - how can that be?
