I would like to make a huge complaint about a particular Pick n Pay. West Coast Village in Sandown Road, Sunningdale. It is the most shocking service I have ever received in any Pick n Pay store. I have been told by numerous other people about their service, but I, today, saw for myself. Its no wonder the store is always empty. That store should be closed a replaced with a Checkers store. The ladies at West Coast are rude, they don’t care if a customer asks for service, they totally ignore the customer, there is never a smile or greeting from the staff and I will never put my foot in that store again. I will be telling as many people as I can about this terrible store. I certainly would expect the manager (and not the one in the store, as she totally ignored me and the state of the customers waiting in a huge queue). These ladies need proper training, maybe they need to be paid more, or they should be replaced with ladies that really need their jobs and respect the customers. I will be posting this to as many groups as I can as well as Hello Peter and sincerely hope it has some positive effect. I will definitely never recommend this Pick n Pay to anyone.

Kindly provide us with proof/bank statement because pon our side you have not been invoiced since your account was closed. Also your status is "SETTLED". I sent them my bank statements showing that this amount has been removed from my bank account for the last 6 months! I sent them a further reminder on 19 September and to date have had no further reply. My stop order will more than likely be taken from my account on 25 September. Surely this is fraud, taking money from an account which owes Vodacom nothing. I would really appreciate feedback at earliest. Denise Wittwen
I have been trying to get my wifi connection repaired or connected with Telkom for 2 weeks. Everytime I call them, it costs me a fortune in calltime as you have to wait for so long to get any reply. After I have given all the details (once again), they tell me either they are working on it or they will check and come back to me and thats as far as I get. I am paying my wifi every month and have not had any for 3 weeks now. PLEASE help.
My son, Francois van der Bergh signed up with Vox for a fibre line around or before the last week of August 2020 and to date we have still not received any wifi connection. We complained on social media and received a number that does not exist. We had contact with the project manager who was to get back to us and to date we have not heard further. We have been chasing up this company from the start and still have no update as to when we can expect to be connected. We have in desperation contacted another service provider who we have signed up with and they will connect us in two days and we have had amazing service from them. My daughter in law is busy writing exams and she work from home so this has been a great inconvenience to us all, as she had to go to frinds houses to utilise their wifi.
I have been with Absa Bank for many many years. For the first time and at a time when we are all struggling financially, Absa Credit Card Division was able to remove an amount of R3100 from my cheque account without my permission. I do not have a stop order on that account and in my mind that is fraud. I am very disappointed and would like other persons out there to be aware of the fact that if you owe on your credit card and for some reason are unable to pay for a certain amount of time, for whatever reason, they can remove funds from any of your Absa accounts without your permission.
The best ever service. My son left for UK 17 years ago and various pieces of really good furniture went into storage at Execumove. We finally emptied our storage yesterday. The staff of Sonja, Carol, Deidre, Lance, Richard and the guys that moved our furniture were all amazing. Always helpful, cheerful and happy to please. I will definitely recommend to anyone and will use Execumove again.

On Monday 16 January 2017, my car was booked into Auto Salon (as recommended by my insurance company Outsurance) in Randburg for repairs on my front driver’s door. I was not given an estimate of when the car would be ready for collection. The person at Auto Salon said they would contact me to let me know when my car would be ready.

The next week on Monday 23rd January, after not hearing from anyone, I called Auto Salon and spoke to the lady at reception. She said she would enquire when my car would be ready and let me know shortly. I heard nothing further from Auto Salon. I then also contacted Outsurance via email to ask them to follow up when my car would be ready as I was getting no response from Auto Salon.

I then received an email from Outsurance on 25 January 2017 to say that Auto Salon were still busy with my car – no idea of how long or when it would be ready. I made another phone call to Outsurance and told them that this service was not good enough and they needed to follow up with their clients’ cars. On 26 January I received an sms from Auto Salon to say that my car will be ready on Tuesday 31 January 2017 (which incidentally, they put as 31/02/07).

Today, Monday 30 January, I receive another sms from Auto Salon telling me that due to them having to order parts, my car will not be ready until Friday 3rd February (incidentally, their dates were all wrong on the sms again – they put 03/01/2017 instead of 03/02/2017). Clearly whoever sends these sms’s is not concentrating on what they are typing to the clients either.

I am not understanding how they can tell me my car will be ready on Tuesday and then the day before they suddenly have to order parts! As a matter of interest as well, I received two messages from my tracker company to say that my car was on the move. As they are only fixed a door, I cannot see that the car had to be test driven or driven at all unless to move it from one repair area to another. I am now not trusting this company at all and am wondering whether their staff are driving the cars around whilst they are in for repair.

I am furious and called Outsurance today to assist me with this. Yes, they apologised, and have spoken to the head of claims and the head of whatever department, and supposedly to Auto Salon, but up to now I have not received any feedback except for Outsurance to check if I had received a call from Auto Salon, which obviously I have not.

I will definitely not ever use Auto Salon for anything or recommend them for anything to anyone, and I would suggest to Outsurance that they refrain from using Auto Salon, as this is dragging their name down as well. This is unacceptable and unfortunately we are at the mercy of these service providers now to return our car at some stage – who knows when????

I will also be looking out for another insurance company for sure. I would suggest to anyone out there looking for an insurance company to not always go for the biggest, and also not the cheapest company, as Outsurance claims to be. Do some checks on Hello Peter and on the sites before you make a decision in future on what car insurance to use.

I am forever hopeful that I will get my car back by the weekend – but who knows???
