Based on recent customer reviews, Execu Move receives strong praise for its packing crews, professional admin staff, and careful handling of household goods during local and international relocations. Customers consistently mention friendly teams, clear communication during quoting and packing, and belongings arriving safely after long journeys and storage periods. However, a recurring theme on the negative side involves international shipments where customers report missing or damaged items, prolonged silence from management, unresolved insurance claims, and disputes over exchange rate clauses, with several reviewers describing escalations that went unanswered.

I moved from Johannesburg to Cape Town and trusted ExecuMove with my belongings. My TV was working perfectly before the move, but it was delivered damaged and is now completely unusable. I was asked to get a technician’s report, which I arranged and paid for out of my own pocket. The technician confirmed that the motherboard/buffer board is completely damaged and explained that this type of internal damage can happen during transportation without visible external damage. Despite submitting the report exactly as requested, Navigate Underwriting Managers still refused to approve my claim because there is “no external damage.” What am I supposed to do with a TV that worked perfectly fine just a month ago? The lack of accountability, empathy, and fairness from both ExecuMove and Navigate Underwriting Managers has been extremely disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not trust this company with valuable belongings.

I have had a wonderful experience with Execu-move. From the beginning when my goods were packed and placed into storage for 2 years, until yesterday, when they were safely delivered to their new destination. The team were friendly, helpful, polite, hard-working, with a good dose of humor too. I am grateful and will definitely use Execu-move again. Thank you, Sonia, Lance, and Kevin's team!

BE WARNED about this company!!! They force you to sign an agreement that absolves the company of any and every liability in terms of taking care of your goods. They hid behind this when they lost/allowed to be ******, two valuable items of our furniture. They did a move for us from Jhb to Herm****, with about two months of storage in between. This was over November 2025 - February 2026. Not only did our furniture go missing, they did not communicate directly and did not keep to promised feedback times. They hid behind platitudes 'we're still looking', flippantly referring to a 'mishap', 'an inconvenience'. They have an efficient liaison person in Maria, but the warehouse manager Fred was totally negiligent. To add insult to injury, they never once had the courage to admit that they had lost our goods, let alone apologise for their mismanagement of their warehouse - the managers acted in a totally ***ardly way. To this day they have not confirmed the position of what happened to our goods. They call themselves the number one removal company in SA; but they operate from a crummy warehouse in Epping which clearly does not have adequate systems and controls in place to take care of the items they are storing. Our story with them ended very badly - we cannot recommend them for one minute. BE WARNED!!!

We would like to thank Execu Move for their excellent and professional service. Special appreciation goes to Maria Owen for coordinating the process so effectively. The team arrived on time, handled the wrapping and loading efficiently, and followed all our instructions carefully. The offloading process was smooth and completed punctually. Thank you for a job well done.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from this company. This matter has been ongoing since January 2026, and despite multiple follow-ups, I have experienced continuous delays, lack of clear communication, and inconsistent responses. My query relates to the application of the exchange rate on my shipment. Both my quotation and the Groupage Shipment Declaration clearly state that the rate of exchange may fluctuate during the consolidation period and will be adjusted at the time of shipping. My goods were shipped in December 2025. However, I was charged based on the exchange rate at the time of payment in October 2025, and no adjustment was made. When I raised this, I was given conflicting explanations. Most recently, I was told that the clause only applies to clients who have not yet paid something that is not stated anywhere in the contract. In addition to this, the matter has been handled in a highly unprofessional manner: * Multiple follow-ups since January have been ignored or delayed * Deadlines provided by the company were not met * Responses have been dismissive rather than helpful * I was told to “take the matter further” instead of receiving a proper resolution I have also experienced issues with a damaged item during the move, and the insurance process has been equally frustrating and poorly handled. At no point should a client have to chase for months to get clarity on something that should be clearly explained and contractually app****. I am now left with no choice but to escalate this matter further. I would strongly caution others when dealing with this company based on my experience.

From start to finish Execu Move were fantastic! The work ethic of everyone, Sonja, Sone and the packing team was exemplary. They made what was quite an emotional move for me so much easier. I would recommend them highly.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Shocking. I contacted OMS in March 2024 for a move to Canada. They promise delivery in 12-16 weeks. Yes, a shared container, so no guarentees, but it took 19 months!! No apology or sympathy. No concern shown. When they came to pack my goods, one of the workers had to be sent home because I realised he was drunk. You'd think the guy in charge would have noticed. In September I was getting irate as my goods were still in SA, and in November Kevin Leske told me they were loaded on a boat in Durban and about to leave SA. But it wasn't true. Kevin **** to me. I kept asking Kevin to escalate and finally he did - to Frans Fouche, who never bothered to respond. Kevin also said I could email the info email as it goes to head office, but no one has ever answered me from that email. I kept pushing and my goods finally left SA in March 2025, a full year after they had been packed up. They only arrived in Canada in October and within a day or two I contacted Kevin again to say my carpet was damaged (probably from sitting poor conditions for so long) and my silver car collection was missing (probably the drunk worker or during storage when workers had gone into my luggage to retrieve some papers for me). I sent pictures. Kevin, as usual, took a long time to respond and then told me it was past the 7 days to put a claim in to the insurance, but he would look into it. I am still waiting. He promised to put a claim in on my behalf, but doesn't answer emails any longer. I repeatedly asked him to escalate and finally on January 14th he gave me Duncan Schulze (ExecuMove) email. Duncan said he'd get back to me in 2 days and I am still waiting. No contact. He does not answer my emails. I have emailed both OMS and ExecuMove's info lines and they don't respond. I have never had such shoddy service from people who clearly care nothing for their clients. Don't touch them
