I'm giving two stars because at least they are affordable to send things around the country. But I can't give them anymore stars than that, simply because there's a lack of respect for our parcels. I've sent things that gotten broken in the transportation. Once I complained about this, I was simply told that it was my own fault. But yesterday I received word that another parcel of me (with no breakable stuff) got damaged too. And if you complain about this on their customer service, just know that they will make you feel bad instead of apologising or improving their service. I guess this goes for the Courier Guy as well. It seems like they just aren't willing to deliver good service and I predict a better company will swoop in soon and steal their customers. Also while I'm at it, their app is terribly designed. As well as their website.
Worst experience ever. Terrible at communicating, they take weeks to reply and only start doing their job halfheartedly when you raise your voice over the phone. They didn't have our interests at heart at all, and for so much money. Don't do business with them ever.
The most spam I have ever received. They clearly breach my privacy by contacting me every single day, and they can't take no for an answer.
I've used Paxi a couple of times now, and there's ALWAYS some sort of issue. Either my parcel takes months to get delivered, or it gets lost, or when I go into Pep to send something, they don't have all the parcel sizes available. I've wasted so much time, honestly, spare yourself the drama and just use Pudo.
Extremely slow service, they usually make mistakes when I ask them to print something and I still have to pay for all of it..... not worth it
I took my iMac in to get a solid state drive, but after getting my imac back, I realised that my machine's sound was not working at all. So I took it back, and the lady who took the machine from me, DROPPED it on her desk accidentally, and I now have a huge mark on my basically brand new mac. They did not really apologise for this or even give some sort of discount, and they took their sweet time with the machine as well. I would say that taking your apple products to someone to fix it on a street corner should be more efficient and painless than this.
I guess there's been minor improvements on DSTV's side, but I am afraid that if they continue with this slow pace in terms of innovation, DSTV won't be around within the next 10 years. It's an overpriced service compared to Netflix etc, with poor quality entertainment in general (B-grade movies galore) and I would advise them to up their game if they are interested in growing as an entertainment company. :)
I recently decided to order my toiletries online from Clicks. Although I think the mobile version needs some work, shopping online was a breeze. My products were delivered within 2 days and everything was even wrapped with bubblewrap to prevent any breakage. I think I will buy this way again in the future.
We went to a certain shop where we wanted to buy a vacuum cleaner. Within a minute a salesman from Verimark came to us and asked what we were looking for. Without really asking our budget, he immediately went into demonstrating a R5000 Genesis vacuum to us. As he was demonstrating, the thing literally broke in front of us, with plastic parts falling off and stuff. Afterwards, we asked if he could rather show us other brands, and he reluctantly showed us the other brands but did not explain anything. Once we explained that we have a small house with only a small carpet area, he apologised and went ahead to sell ANOTHER Genesis to us, but instead of selling us a cheaper one, he obviously tried to sell us a COMMERCIAL GRADE vacuum cleaner. This level of trying to sell people stuff they don't need instead of an expert helping me find what fits my needs, is why I hate going to shops. Needless to say, we walked out without buying anything and will rather buy something from Takealot.
I recently went on a flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg on an Airlink plane. The interior of the plane is very spacious, with no middle seat, allowing for a bit more space, which was fantastic. The complimentary meal was delicious. And even though we flew through some stormy weather, the flight was smooth and I could just sit back and relax. You cannot even compare Airlink to one of the other local airline companies, as Airlink is definitely in a class of its own. Highly recommended.
