I app**** for a contract for a MacBook. I was advised that someone will contact me in 7-14 days. A month went by, I enquired, I was told someone is working on the application. I went to Telkom store, they did not see the application on their system. I then went to apple store. An sales assistant told me that they can see the application but it has not been processed. This then leave one possibility, Apple has been lying about assisting me. Not sure for what reason but their customer service experience is horrible. Even at the Somerset West branch I received the coldest welcome and I initially stood there for 15 mins and no one seemed to check if i needed any assistance.
The rumors are true, FNB does not care about solving ***** cases!! As I am writing am looking for a new bank for my small business. I reported an unauthorized transaction on my FNB virtual card within mere hours of detection, explicitly advising that I did not recognize the purchase. I was assured of an investigation and feedback within 7–30 days. Instead, I discovered — through the app — that the case was unilaterally closed, allegedly with an “outcome communicated.” Yet I have received neither feedback nor restitution. In good faith, I even furnished FNB with an investigation report from the supposed merchant, but this too was met with silence. The dereliction of duty is staggering. I am left with no alternative but to migrate my business banking elsewhere.
This bank is a ****. I asked them to close a credit card that was never in use, it was not even over a month since I asked for this card to the closed and 3 months later I have accumulated charges on the same card that I asked to close and was never in use. I called the bank more than 3 times to get this rectified and still no resolution. I even asked them to close another cheque ACC and that too is still active and accumulating charges. DO NOT BANK WITH THIS BANK IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR FINANCIAL WELL-BEING!!! I am even cancelling my life covers and everything else.
I bought a new phone and the headsets were missing. I bought a new phone on Saturday and I didn't realize that there was a missing accessory. I don't think it's my responsibility to check since I put trust in the company to deliver 100% on their products. I assumed because it's not a high end phone it probably didn't come with headsets but when I later looked in the box I realized there was a socket for headsets that was empty.
I placed an order for the breakfast meal and what we received was shocking. I wish I could attach a picture to this review because I don’t even have words for it. It was absolutely unfair and horrible service from Wimpy Northgate.
I signed up for a service, router arrived quick. Service was not up for 2 months. I had to make a manual payment because their debit order system wasn’t working. My service is still not active and I have been sending emails with no reply and I’ve been calling for 2 days and I’m still not assisted. I would love to get a refund so I can use another SP but I’m assuming it’s going to be a pain.
I bought R100 telkom mobile airtime through the app and it was not loaded to my number. This was at a time when i have an emergency and I'm very disappointed by this service. I am definitely switching banks and informing my friends and family. My money was deducted but airtime still not loaded. This was from the little i had in my account
I registered a business via their platform and did not get any feedback even after paying, just an sms saying "thank you". I logged a complaint and they only gave me a ref number but no feedback on the issue.
i registered a business on the fnb website 3 weeks ago and i still do not have any feedback on the registration today. I feel like i should have registered directly with CIPC and not via FNB
Voice always cuts off when I make calls. And for the past 2 days I cannot access my FNB ewallet. I called FNB and they advised that they are having this issue with Telkom lines. I really don’t understand also why Telkom Customer service is so bad. Do the managers at Telkom even use this network? I highly doubt.
