Shocking during sale, and after sale service. Duval Strydom will lie and do absolutely nothing to resolve any query. We followed up more than 4 times re registration of the vehicle. Every time he said he will come back to us but never once has. Today we were notified nothing has happened, the roadworthy has lapsed and they need us to go do a new roadworthy before they can start the registration of the vehicle. This is 4 weeks after the purchase. The whole system is rotten to the core with finger pointing and incompetence.
Alcatel router with uncapped wireless router not working. Router is 1 month old, have been in for repairs, after 10 days the unit was replaced, and we received a 'new' router which does exactly the same as the previous router. Biggest nonsense after being to Vodacom repairs twice already and now need to go and stand in line for a third time so that Vodacom can send the router to Jhb to be tested and be without internet for longer than what we have had internet and having to pay for this service all the time. "Wireless" internet is such a meh, rather get fiber
Avis debited my account three times for the same traffic fine. On quering this, the customer service representative, Teboho told me there are 3 fines then. I asked him to mail it to me. He e-mailed me two fines which were exactly the same. I phoned and e-mailed back to ask again why have I been debited three times for the same fine. Customer service did not understand the problem, and said again they will have to check. Customer service will give you more work to try and resolve rather than sorting the problem out themselves.
Appliance Repair Centre- Bellville Please refrain from using this company for appliance repairs. It has been more than 6 weeks now and they still can't fix some basic appliances. They keep coming up with stories and have a very unpleasant attitude if confronted. I am not sure if they have the skills or will to attend to customer issues in a professional manner, as it has been a disaster thusfar.
We bought many Swan dishwashers. Most of them gave problems from the outset. The manufacturer did not honor the guarantee terms and started charging call out fees albeit when it was clear the dishwashers was malfunctioning one after the other. Please avoid them when considering after sale service, or just trying to ensure your dishwasher works. Problems have still not been resolved.
Have been trying to open a business account for the past three weeks without anyone coming back to me. Numerous calls and emails and it is impossible to speak to whoever is busy with the application and they are not interested to come back to you.
FNB Business Online capabilities is non existent and support is unable to solve queries relating to online secure card maintenance. I have made more than 5 attempts to activate online secure (to be able to use my card online) and have not been successful once due to poor support training and even worse banking application and website.
Standard Bank mobile app and online banking the worst experience lacking features and basic functionality like paying your credit card from your cheque account. I have been into the branch, have sent emails and no-one knows how to set this up. Adding the account number to a beneficiary gives an error and no-one seems to understand what one wants to do? I am speechless that such a basic functionality is such a hassle and still no solution.
Axxess will activate your fibre line on your profile and you will start paying for it even before the line actually works! When confronted about this they wont credit any moneys and tell you it would take 30 days to cancel the line.(which is not what one wants to do - you just want to only pay when the line is working) Have been having many interactions with the support staff and accounts department over the last 4 years or so and would not recommend their service to anyone. They literally steal your money.
The homeloans call centre is not well trained and very unprofessional when it comes to dealing with queries and nothing ever gets resolved, even after six follow up calls by myself to try and resolve. Asking to speak to managers or senior personnel was equally frustrating as no-one seems to understand why they are working for the homeloans department. Application was turned down and subsequent dealings where the issue was resolved, was met with inexplicable incompetence.
