I am not sure whether it's badluck or what the hell, I keep on choosing bad insurers. I hit a pothole last Wednesday with both tires, I called the Dial Direct and they immediately registered it as an accident, then a tow truck was called,surely it arrived - and then issues started when I had to be driven home I was only then told that Dial Direct was only willing or I was insured for a R500 family run, and the service provider quoted R1200 for 50km distance ride, and I was liable for the rest(R700). I mean I took an insurance for emergencies not to be told that I will be left in the street at night in the dark if I didn't have the R700,it took three hours for this to be arranged because DialDirect operators kept on saying they will call back but never did, they contact the service provider and get back to me,they never got back to me, I spend airtime calling them back. Finally I manage to pay the fee, I was driven, then the next thing there was no communication from DialDirect as to where my car was and what was happening, what's progress, I sat around for a full 16 hours, up until I took it upon my self to make calls to find out what was happening. Only to be told that an assessor will be called and it will take them 3 to 4 working days to assess the car and then I will be updated on the way forward. I do not have a car as we speak and still no one is updating me no call ,no email nothing,I told them I have an important family event to attend to, I took emergency leave for it. DialDirect doesn't care about it's customers, as soon as my car is released,I will be checking for quotes. I am done with this company.
This is just to let Telkom know that it's loosing online business because of Skynet worldwide express. I know more than a handful of customers who have cancelled their orders because of the incompetency of Skynet that is including. And some Telkom agent couldn't careless to even assist. I am saddened and disappointed by the customer service that we are recieving.
If there was a zero star rating I would've given, I have getting one lie after another. The package is out for delivery the next thing bad address return to sender, without so much as calling me to confirm. This is a use courier company. Its been too long waiting on package that is silly and undermining. I have to cancel my order with Telkom because of their incompetence and carelessness.
I still hope that no this year is still getting ****med by Affinity Car Insurance or AAA claims or New National Assurance (not to be mistaken for AA insurance) or their other subsidiaries. I am still paying for a car I paid insurance for three years. These are corporate con- artists of note. I will come to this platform every year until they close down. Stay away from anything with the "Affinity" or New National Assurance. Next year I am going on radio just for them.
I am not happy with Bash. First they sent my delivery to the wrong address and then they sent an email stating that the parcel was not delivered. Of which I never received a call or any form of notification. This is subpar service.

Ombudsman Short Term Insurance is just serving Insurers not the under dogs which is the insured. I have proven with merit that the Insurers claims are false and unfair, just for the ombudman to only consider their claims and not mine. It should just be shut down because it is useless and obviously takes bribes. I am truly disheartened, mostly because I proved beyond reasonable doubt that the Insurer's claims to reject my claim didn't hold water.
