One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with, without a doubt. I app**** for a dishwasher through Teljoy and it got approved. I received phone calls asking for me to verify my details over and over again. If fact in one call they asked me the same thing twice. Now, I had already given them everything they needed, all the documentation. So i cancelled, then a lady clled Lizanne contacted me and we sorted the issue out and I signed the contract and sent it back I then received an email saying thr dishwasher would be delivered by the 21st May. I took a days leave so I could be at home to receive it. Early in the afternoon I sent a message via WhatsApp asking if the delivery would still be taking place and I was assured it would be, by 17:00. At 15:00 i sent another message and was told they cannot track the delivery but it would delivered by 17:00 17:00 came and went no delivery. No one, absolutely no one contacted me from Teljoy telling the delivery would not arrive On then 22nd I contacted them again telling them to cancel the delivery as I was going away and to cancel the whole contract Within 5 minutes I receiced a WhatsApp from Nucleus Couriers saying the delivery has been scheduled but it would take iup to 5 days. I went into the tracking link only to find the unit had not even been collected yet. I contacted Nucleus and explained I had cancelled the contract and they must cancel the delivery. Teljoy had not informed them of this I then get a phone call from Nucleus saying the delivery will be done on Monday 25th May, bearing in mind I had already explained to Teljoy I would not be at home, and bearing in mind I had already requested the cancellation. No One from Teljoy had the guts to call me, not a soul from Teljoy has contacted me, no apology, nothing. I wasted a days leave because of them, I wasted my time even dealing with them.
So on Saturday morning at about 06h00 my unlimited fixed lte service with OpenWeb swas reduced to a download speed of 0.50 and upload of 0.40. I tried unsuccessfully to get hold of OpenWeb, it is impossible to speak to anyone. I sen messages Via WhatsApp and email to no avail. 3 days later I get an email from them saying they have opened a ticket. No feedback, nothing. They asked for a speedtest, which i sent 4, all done over the last 2 days, all showing literally no internet at all. I work from home so I have to spend money elsewhere to get internet, my service with OpenWeb cost me R900 per month. I put in a cancellation request and low and behold they still want me stick to their terms and condition which states I have to give one calendar month, even though i have no internet. These guys are not good, at all. If you decide to go with them you do so at your peril
Never ever again will i do an application with Teljoy. Whether I was approved or not is not the point. Its now taken 3 days and nothing, no response nada to whether my application has been approved or not. I received a phone call which said I would hear soon, well i am still waiting. Biggest waste of time in my life
And yet another bad review as they have even bothered to give me any feedback on why what happened happened and I have it in writing that none of what transpired was my fault and yet they penalise me for their incompetence. Due to their error they are affecting my credit record as well, they neglected to cancel the contract until I phoned to tell them I had never used the phone or contract. Then I get an email from them with invoices and statements showing i owe for the contract that never was
On the 24th April i received my new handset and contract. I had asked them to port my current number and in Vodacoms wisdom they ported the number to a pay as you go. While I was in store, where all this happened, they acknowledged the mistake but I had to send the handset back and cancel the contract which was duly done. I had never used the handset or the new contract. They informed me that they would notify me when they received the handset back, which was the 29th April, and I could apply again. Well that never happened, i heard from no one so today, 5th May i called and had to go through the whole process again but this time I was declined. They did not explain why, just declined.
THEY ARE ******, I HAVE NEVER HAD A POLICY WITH THEM, YES I APP**** FOR A LOAN WHICH WAS TURNED DOWN AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I GET A REGISTERED MANDATE AND THEY WANT TO TAKE MONEY FROM ME. NO MAN
So this is my last review "I am looking at all these 5 star reviews wondering how on earth this happened. Meerkat were superb until I got my clearance certificate, then they washed their hand of me. R3000 later and I am getting no help to get my name cleared. I am not even sure they care. I tried quering this with Experian and only the debt review people can query with letters etc etc. All I get told, and quote "Meerkat have done their side and the money is non refundable". So the R3000 was to do what?? My name is not cleared with any credit agencies so was my clearance certificate even submitted?? Why did I even go through this process. I am going leave poor reviews wherever I can for Meerkat" They rep**** saying issues with some or other agency. Weeks later I go hold of them again and was told, and I quote, " Soon the flag will be lifted" This was the 24th March To date nothing. These people are nothing but money collectors with no follow up. They simply do not care, pay ypour money at your peril be cause once paid, that is where it ends
I owe nothing to Cartrack, I reached a settlement figure with their attorneys, Viljoen Attorneys. I have not had a vehicle for 2 years. Cartrack in their wisdom are still phoning a gizillion time per day chasing money that i have settled. Thier excuse is there systems are automated so they cannot help it. God help anyone taking a tracker through Cartrack because you will forever be hounded either by sales calls or credit calls.

Absolutely disgusting service, ben out for delivery for2 weeks now. Then i get a message saying the phone number is wrong. WHAT???? Just deliver to the address and be done with it, what difference does it make with a phone number, by the way the phone number is correct. USELESS USELESS USELESS. The address is a business address so it cannot be missed, its simple. GOOD GRIEF. If I had a choice these would be last people i would use to get my parcel delivered. The worst thing about this horrible company is that it is impossible to contact them.
