Refund
Never ever book your tickets with them!!! If everything goes according to plan then all goes well. But the moment it doesn't then it's a different story Qatar Airways cancelled our flights in March due to the unrest in the Middle East. I contacted Gotogate on 10 March to get a refund on the 2 legs of our tickets that was canceled by the airline. We've been waiting ever since for our refund. Qatar Airways say we must speak to Gotogate as they must request the refund on our behalf. And they imply that Gotogate has not approached them for the refund yet. Gotogate says they app**** for the refund on 11 March and are awaiting the refund from Qatar Airways... So who do we believe??? We're going around in circles for more than 2 months and not getting our money back!!!

Cancelled Flight, Endless Excuses, Still No Refund From Gotogate
Absolutely terrible experience with Gotogate / Booking.com. We booked Etihad flights through Gotogate on 9 February. The flight was cancelled, and we requested a refund on 13 April. We were told it would take “around 15 business days.” Since then, I’ve had to follow up repeatedly, and I mean repeatedly, only to be fed the same script every single time: “You should receive the refund within the next 3 business days.” Three business days apparently means forever. To make matters worse, while trying to rebook through Gotogate/Booking.com, the price magically increased by nearly $1000 every time I got to the payment stage. It honestly felt like a bait-and-switch tactic. Eventually I had no choice but to book elsewhere out of my own pocket because we still had no refund. Meanwhile, family members who booked directly with Etihad for the exact same cancelled flight were refunded weeks ago. That tells me everything I need to know. Gotogate has been nothing but delays, excuses, scripted responses, and zero accountability. Holding onto customers’ money for this long after a cancelled flight is unacceptable. I will NEVER use Gotogate or Booking.com for flights again. Learn from my mistake and book directly with the airline. Saving a few bucks upfront is not worth months of stress, chasing support agents, and being left stranded while your money disappears into a black hole.

Total ****mer company - you will lose money
This is the worst ****mer company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. They have ZERO customer service. I have been trying for 11 weeks to get a single answer from them and they are incapable of responding. They just will not ever respond (other than automated nonsense) and their online contact options don't work at all. They took my money for a flight booking, the flight was then cancelled from their end, and they have not refunded me. Never ever use this "company" as you will just lose thousands of dollars and never get it back.

Horrible after service, might be a ****.
I bought a plane ticket through GoToGate and my flight got canceled. Since that day it has been horrible. First they told me I need to cancel the flight directly with the airline. I finally had it canceled after back and forth between GTG and the airline - it ended up GTG had to do the cancelation from their side. Now it's been 30+ days and I still haven't received my refund. Read some reviews and many other people said you need to annoy them every day an maybe you will get it back. Today I spoke with a special person, Snehal K, and was first told that airline has not refunded the amount back to them. I have phoned the airline and they confirmed the refund was paid back to GTG. Only after confrontation they person admitted to 'making a human error' and the refund has been received. I'm crossing both fingers to hopefully get my refund, it's a ton of money that took me months to save up for. Found their director of customer service email: [email protected]

Gotogate sucks!
Worst Experience trying to get my money refunded for flights to Qatar. Even though i cancelled well in advance, and Airline is refunding for those dates. I am a month later and still no refund. Don't bother booking through gotogate. You just get told story after story but no actual concrete time lines, and promised time lines pass without your refund.

Call centre provides incorrect information terrible service
I booked a flight via Gotogate.. was not able to travel, the airline placed my booking on hold for a year, on requesting to rebook I was informed that Gotogate cancelled my booking and requested a refund without my consent… after numerous phone calls and incorrect misleading information from their call centre I am still waiting for confirmation on my rebooking which expires in a week🤬🤬 very poor service
