I would strongly recommend using a different company for wedding photography. The booking and payment process went smoothly until the deposit was paid. After that, communication became extremely poor. A week before the wedding, we still had not had the promised meet-and-greet, and our messages and calls were largely ignored. On the wedding day itself, we still did not know who would be arriving to photograph our wedding. We had to contact the company ourselves, only to find out they had sent photographers we had never met before, who appeared to have little to no experience shooting a wedding on their own. It has now been 9 months, and the photos we received are of very low quality and missing many of the key moments from our wedding day. To make matters worse, the company has shown very little concern about the missing photos and simply stated that it is “not their responsibility.” This was one of the most important days of our lives, and the lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, and care has been incredibly disappointing.

Extremely disappointed with the service received. I was not informed that different photographers would be sent on the day, which is misleading. The quality of the photos delivered is far below what was advertised — many are poorly lit, badly composed, and not properly edited. Important moments were missed (no proper father-of-the-bride photos, no clear shots during vows, and no photos of key moments like the dip and kiss), while I received many unnecessary images instead. To make matters worse, my private boudoir photos were included with my wedding gallery, which is a serious breach of privacy. Communication has been very poor, with little to no response despite multiple follow-ups. This was a once-in-a-lifetime event, and the overall experience and final product have been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this service.

We got married in April 2025 and are coming up to our 1 year anniversary this month. I cannot even begin to explain the disappointment I experienced working with EverAfter Studios. We contacted them in Nov 2024 after finding them on Instagram (and their portfolio displayed here looked good - professional, good lighting, aesthetic, intimate wedding photos) - it felt professional as the owner Aden set up a video call with me to understand what we were going for - even though we are based in Cape Town, they assured us that they would be able to cater to us. We finalised our contract and paid our deposit in the beginning of Dec 2024. We did not hear much in Jan and Feb and I reached out on both Instagram and via Whatsapp but I kept having to follow up and was often met with no response. In Feb, we asked to update our package to include a videographer - another thing I had to follow up on (at this point I should've realised). On our wedding day, a photographer and videographer arrived - I think possibly outsourced and photos and videos were taken - it was the best day of my life and I was looking forward to seeing the photos. The balance of the payment was paid on 25 April and initially our gallery was promised as 1 week after the wedding. On 1 May we received an update that there was a delay and then came the months of following up without receiving a response - I had to consult with lawyers during this time and we considered going to to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombuds - after this threat, we started getting a response again. Our photos were delivered on 15 JULY 2025 (3 months) and our final video (after a requested edit) on 13 JANURAY 2026 (9 months). The quality of both (given the amount of time they had to edit) was average. I requested some unedited footage as the video was missing key moments and am still waiting. Their customer service is non-existant. It was an awful experience to have to follow up and have months of being ignored after the best day ever. I would not recommend EverAfter Studios ever.

Sharing our experience with Everafter Studios in case it helps someone else. We got married almost 6 months ago and still haven’t received our photos. Communication leading up to the wedding was already very limited. We struggled to get responses, which made it difficult to properly discuss timelines and expectations beforehand. On the day, different photographers arrived without this being discussed with us beforehand, which was quite stressful. Before the original delivery deadline, they let us know they wouldn’t be able to meet it and asked for an extension. We agreed to this, but the new deadline then passed without any delivery. Since then, communication has been very inconsistent. We’ve sent multiple messages over the past few months, often without any response. When we do get a reply, it’s usually after repeated follow-ups or commenting on their public posts. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been told that delays are due to upload times, but no clear timeline or delivery has followed. We have tried to be patient and understanding throughout, especially when personal circumstances were mentioned, but despite this, there has been no clear communication, no firm deadlines, and responses have often been vague or evasive. We sent a formal breach of contract letter on 6 March 2026 asking for delivery of the outstanding materials, but did not receive a response to that either. At this point, we still don’t have our photos and have no clear indication of when we will receive them. It’s been a frustrating experience, especially given how important wedding photos are. Just something to be aware of if you’re considering booking.

<div>I signed a contract with EverAfter Studios (South Africa) for them to do the photography and videography at my wedding in April 2025 in Cape Town. They subcontracted other photographers to show up on the day without informing me. The contract said delivery of content within 20 days of the wedding. Over-edited photos were supplied 2 months later. The video was only supplied 7 months after our wedding after constant begging, and being ignored. Phone calls and messages ignored. Our wedding video didn’t include certain content such as vows and speeches as promised (also in the contract) and we are now paying someone else to make a video (luckily we managed to get the unedited video content) We are still waiting for our physical wedding album which was also supposed to be delivered within 20days of the wedding. On top of all of these issues, the owner *** is full of every excuse in the book as to why things haven’t been delivered and refuses to take accountability or to rectify the situation without being begged. Very poor communication. Unfortunately what should have been an exciting experience has turned into my nightmare. I wouldn’t wish this on any other bride/groom and therefore I would not recommend this company. We are having to go the legal route to get our content.</div>
