I am so angry with easy equity department, or should I say the RA team, I haven't received any help whatsoever with my account they are not answering my email nor do what I requested them to do to my account and my money, I wish I didn't invest with this company. The worst part of it is that I really need this money as I'm currently unemployed and the stupid company is making things worse for me.

I love the platform and how it educates and breaks down the barriers in investing with market instruments and diversifying your portfolio, but lately they have employed an extremely aggressive charge structure. Especially on your TFSA account. You are not only charged on this account for inactivity (And one typically make only one TFSA deposit per annum) but in addition that same charge is also deducted from you TFSA deposit limit for the next tax year, thereby exponentially increasing the damage to your portfolio as you can now invest less for that period !! So sad to see greed and short-sightedness destroy a platform that had so much potential....

Easy Group got me good. I would not advocate that any trader utilize this site. I am withdrawing my money and leaving Easy Group. I made an inter-account transfers, which "locked" my funds, yet you can still invest them on the platform. I believe the most recent upgrade, "F*#K" the system, charts not working and pricing are much off. What RPA made this fly, or did the development team give it a "OKAY" update? This broker is a professional; I will not trade a cent until I have been wined, dined and f*#**d, and before I will trade on that platform again. Its a NO! NO! NO for me.

The past weekend was a showstopper for all clients, as the portal was not available for almost the full weekend for maintenance. After being in IT myself for more than 42 years, I do understand the need for some scheduled maintenance that has to be performed from time to time, system wise and/or infrastructure wise… However, not informing clients in advance of these scheduled down times, are totally unforgivable and should not be how you treat your more than 700,000 users to find this out, only once they are trying to sign on. The message displayed, does not even advise when the maintenance has started and when it is expected to be completed. We do receive very regular mails from you, however I cannot find a mail that has informed your client base on the scheduled maintenance in advance, with estimate down times and dates. This is not acceptable and shows your neglect towards the 700,000 + clients. This is also not Best Practice from an IT perspective. Kindly please ensure that future maintenance that might affect any portion of a client’s experience, are indeed timeously, communicated to your more than 700,000 users/clients. This is the correct way to do it, indeed. In my mind, this raise questions on EE’s integrity and loyalty towards their client base, which will have a negative impact on the trust relationship, which is highly important in the financial sphere. I believe actually more than 2 million clients were affected in the end..??!!

Twice I opened urgent tickets with EasyEquities regarding a court order, and twice they simply closed the tickets without taking any action or even responding. They are extremely quick when money is flowing into their business, but when it comes to complying with legal obligations and paying out what is due, they ignore customers completely. This level of disregard for court orders and customer service is unacceptable and deeply concerning.

I am experiencing ongoing delays with a Section 12T TFSA transfer to EasyEquities, which has now been in process for over six months. The transfer was executed by ABSA last Thursday, and the TFSA transfer certificate has been issued, confirming completion on the ceding provider’s side. Despite this, EasyEquities has advised that they are still “awaiting funds”, and as of today (more than 5 business days later), the funds have not reflected in my TFSA account. I have followed up repeatedly, including yesterday and today, but have not received any clear or actionable feedback. At this stage, the matter appears to be an internal processing or reconciliation delay on EasyEquities’ side. I request urgent resolution and confirmation of: • Receipt of the transferred funds • Allocation to my TFSA account • Finalisation of the Section 12T transfer This matter has already been significantly delayed and now requires escalation.

HORRIBLE COMPLIANCE!!!!!! By far the most pathetic broker in SA - if NO service is your thing then EE is for you - if you want service and compliance stay with the ALLAN GRAY's of life. Rest is ****! (16 weeks to open an account, and counting....)
