TFSA Transfer Funds Not Reflected After 6 Months and Final Transfer
I am experiencing ongoing delays with a Section 12T TFSA transfer to EasyEquities, which has now been in process for over six months. The transfer was executed by ABSA last Thursday, and the TFSA transfer certificate has been issued, confirming completion on the ceding provider’s side. Despite this, EasyEquities has advised that they are still “awaiting funds”, and as of today (more than 5 business days later), the funds have not reflected in my TFSA account. I have followed up repeatedly, including yesterday and today, but have not received any clear or actionable feedback. At this stage, the matter appears to be an internal processing or reconciliation delay on EasyEquities’ side. I request urgent resolution and confirmation of: • Receipt of the transferred funds • Allocation to my TFSA account • Finalisation of the Section 12T transfer This matter has already been significantly delayed and now requires escalation.

Woolies Customer Service Needs Urgent Attention
I placed a grocery order through the Dash app, but unfortunately, the incorrect items were delivered. I lodged a complaint with Woolworths, but weeks have passed without any response. The level of customer service has noticeably declined — truly disappointing for a brand I’ve always trusted.

Dollar Thrifty Car Rental South Africa

Misrepresentation of costs and overcharging clients
We reserved a Group J1 vehicle on 06 August 2021 for rental between 19 November and 26 November on the Thrifty website. We got a total amount due of approximately R7400 before adding any extras to the reservation. The website allowed for us to add extras for additional driver (R350), tyre and windscreen cover (R305.20) and cross border fee of R1500. This gave us an all inclusive balance of R9502.59. We were requested to pay upfront deposit of 25% and the balance was due on pick up date. We kept in touch with the company via email regarding requirements for cross border and emergency assistance arrangements once we cross the border. It was clear that we intended to cross the border with the vehicle. However, to our surprise when we got to the pick up point, we were told our reservation did not include cross border fee and in addition to this we do not have approval to cross the border with the vehicle. We were informed no cross border applications can be done online and these are only done in person when picking up the car. Imagine having planned your international trip with accommodation and everything else being paid for only to be told you cannot cross the border with a vehicle that you reserved months in advance and the reservation clearly states a cross border fee. I was very disappointed by the service and treatment received. We had to apply again for the cross border approval and pay another R1500 in additional to the one already included in the reservation. I feel this was a misrepresentation of costs by Thrifty as we could have gone with another better deal from another rental company. But since all was already planned and we needed the vehicle asap, we had to bend to Thrifty's hidden costs which were not made clear from the onset.

Disappointed in Telkom's poor service
I requested an upgrade on my telkom data plan in March however, instead of upgrading the plan, the telkom opened another account. As a result 2 debit orders which amounted to triple my subscription went off my account. When I called Telkom to report this, the lady told me i would have to send an email requesting for the account to be cancelled and i would not be getting the money that was incorrectly debited from my account. She said this before she put me on hold for 30 minutes and was later cut off. No one bothered to call back. I am very disappointed in Telkom's poor customer service. I will have to think carefully before signing up for any other upgrades. I don't understand why i have to pay the consequences of Telkom's mistake

ShowMax + Dstv Premium Package nightmare
I’m on Dstv premium and have added ShowMax to my profile. This is supposed to be included free of charge for premium package subscribers. In the past year Multichoice has deducted R99 for ShowMax subscription. You would have thought they’d fix this the first time it occurred but this error keeps popping up. I managed to get refunded for the 2 times it happened however my attempt to get refund for last debit order which occurred this year in April has fallen on deaf ears. I reported the matter shortly after debit order of R99 went off on the 2nd of April and nothing was done about it. I then reported the matter again on the 14th of April and I was assured I’d be refunded in a few days but the gentleman couldn’t say exactly when. We are now in May and I still haven’t been refunded so I decided to reverse the debit order from my account. I then get an sms from Dstv to pay the R99 which I had reversed. I then contacted Dstv on live chat but Kgabo Maano was unable to assist me. Why does this keep happening? As soon as my contract expires I am cutting my ties with Dstv.

Poor service and resolution from Vodacom
I called Vodacom to cancel my wifi router contract and I was informed that I upgraded my contract in May (2 Hauwei phones were taken) which I didn't do. I informed them that it is fraud as I didn't upgrade my contract and would therefore like to cancel. I also informed them that I did not receive my data (5 gig) for June. The lady informed me that they loaded R165 airtime to my sim card. I informed her the sim card is in the router and I haven't received any airtime. The lady informed me that my issue will be resolved within 7 days and unfortunately I can only cancel the contract once their fraud department has finalised the investigation. 7 days later I call to follow up and I was told my case hasn't even been allocated to anyone for investigation. The lady then promises me that she will call me to give me updates until the issue is resolved. She called the following day to tell me she has forwarded my case to the fraud department and that was the last time I heard from her. A few days later I called Vodacom to follow up on my case and they informed me that my case has been cancelled because they tried getting hold of me and even send me an sms which I did not receive. She forwarded my to the accounts department which forwarded me to the "fraud" department - only to find out I was forwaded to the insurance department. The insurance department couldn't help me and so they said I must call 082 111 as they didn't have the fraud department's numbers. I call 082 111 and the guy says all their departments are off line and i should send an email to the fraud department. Or alternatively call them on a line that is not free. So disappointed in Vodacom because fraud took place under their watch and its taking over a month to resolve the issue. On top of that I am being harassed by their calls saying my account is in arrears - mind you the amount in arrears is due to the R1699 I reversed from my account because I did not authorise the upgrade. I will never buy anything from Vodacom after this.
