Law firms
This review pertaining to the unfair practice where people in debt will never see daylight. There are law firms that are misusing the law. I am dealing with a firm relating to school fees where I make monthly payments but have never received a statement from them so I have no idea what I owe. If I pay late I get a notice that the sheriff is on his way.who So is this legal? What are my rights? I am sure I am not the only person with this issue. Help us as I feel we will never see daylight. Unhappy about your poor service
November 2020 my brother and I we lodged a complaint against MR Power who is our executor. On 03/11/2020 we received an acknowledgement via email. Louise Belcher sent us an email that MR Powers is not responding to their emails. She sent us an email that they are escalating the matter to Thabo Mkoko and Thumeka Dwanya. We sent them an mail on the 20/05/2021 they never responded till today. We need to appoint an executor. We don't know what to do. Our previous executer is refusing to give us our file back. Law Society Help needed
I had an Attorney do work for me on a private capacity - paid lots of expenses - got judgement with costs - 3 years ago - now i want to exercise my rights in terms of the judgment - but the Attorney cannot find the Judgement - taken the matter up with the Law Society in JHB and Cape Town - no response at all now for 2 weeks from anybody - what now - help

Law Society Help needed

Law Society has no authorities - it's a joke
I have reported an attorney that has issued two divorce cases for the same divorce at the same High Court in order to charge exhorbitant fees and other issues on this attorney too... they did absolutely nothing and basically said I should raise my issue at court. I think they are a joke and only protecting their own like the whole "JUSTICE" system in this country. We need an ombudsman for attorney's - independant and not part of their society.

Do They Exist?
I have contacted the on a number of occasions to verify the legality of an attorney. searching their web refer you to the LPC and LCSA. How do you verify credentials of an attorney practicing in Cape Town?

The Cape Law Society is a joke. I would love to know who one can report them to when you've reported an unscrupulous, thieving, lying and corrupt attorney. Four years later and I'm still waiting for a response from the CAPE LAW (or is it CAPE LAX )Society. They're a joke!!!!! A legal case which was supposed to have cost me R7000 cost me over R80,000!!!!! Never again will I approach an attorney NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Hi I'm so cross and disappointed with the way capelawsociety has treated the complain i have lodged with them against the law firm (marais and bason) that dealt fraudulently with the RAF payment of my father two decades ago,what they did was to sent me from pillar to post.

THEY DONT CARE THAT MONEY IS STOLEN FROM FOREIGNERS BY ATTORNEYS
A Belgian client of mine sold a property. The money was stolen by one of their attorneys. There was a lot of correspondence with CLS till 2 years ago. Now they dont answer mails anymore... The last mail is from 2 years ago. There they answered that they sanctioned the attorney but further that that attorney disappeared. My attorney writes them mails in order to go to the fidelity fund... No answer. Where can I put a complaint against the CLS...
