My 81-year-old father had a hip replacement in February and has GAP cover with Zestlife. We have been trying for months to get feedback regarding his claims, and the experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. My sister-in-law phones Zestlife weekly to follow up. Every time, promises are made that someone will get back to us regarding the claims, yet nothing happens. We are now nearly at the end of May, and there is still no proper resolution or meaningful communication. What is most concerning is the complete lack of urgency and customer care when clients actually need assistance. For something as important as a medical claim for an elderly patient recovering from major surgery, the silence and delays are unacceptable. Ironically, when cover upgrades or payments are involved, responses seem to happen very quickly. But when clients need support, communication disappears. We expected far better service, empathy, and professionalism from a company providing medical GAP cover. This experience has left our family extremely disappointed and has seriously affected our confidence in Zestlife.

ABSOLUTELY DISMAL and PATHETIC service on GAP cover claim. If you are looking for a company with excellence then you definitely DON'T want to use Zestlife. It's been 18 working days since we have submitted all our documents and to this date we are still awaiting for A simple claim for our Gynecologist and Paed's fees. Imagine this being an ordinary claim that 1000's of people go through I'm sure they should have a better and more streamlined process for quicker service delivery on this but instead we are still waiting mind you with feedback only being given when we contact them. This claim is apparently still with the reviewer.Their turn around time is 10 to 14 days and yet it is still with the reviewer and we asked to still wait after waiting 18 business days already. Rather look for other options as Zestlife should never be a choice. They will just leave you out of pocket but still debit your account religiously on a monthly basis for clearly a service that CANNOT provide.

I am disappointed with the service from Zestlife. I submitted a claim over 10 days ago, and to date, there has been absolutely no acknowledgement or feedback. No updates, no communication — nothing. For something as important as a claim, this level of silence is completely unacceptable. What makes this even more frustrating is that when I recently upgraded my cover to a family plan, that process was handled and completed within 48 hours. So clearly, when it benefits Zestlife financially, things move quickly — but when it comes to supporting a client with a claim, there is no urgency at all. This inconsistency raises serious concerns about how customers are treated depending on whether they are paying more versus needing assistance. This experience has been incredibly disappointing and does not inspire confidence in Zestlife’s service.

I now know why its called GAP cover - its not paying in the difference of money owed - ITS THE TIME ZESTLIFE takes to process the claims. Two and a half months after surgery and still its at the assessor
