Tiger's Milk
Based on recent customer reviews, Tiger's Milk receives sharply divided feedback across its South African branches. Patrons who enjoyed their visits consistently mention great atmosphere, live music, friendly managers, and memorable celebrations, particularly highlighting standout food and reasonable pricing at certain locations. However, a recurring theme among dissatisfied diners centres on slow and inattentive service, cold or poorly prepared food, unfulfilled bookings, and management follow-through that customers feel falls short. Several reviewers also raise concerns about loud music disturbing nearby residents and unresolved complaints after escalation.

Title: Disappointing Takeaway Experience I am writing to raise a concern regarding my recent takeaway order from Tiger’s Milk at Alberton New Market on 2 May 2026 at approximately 22:00. I ordered chips and ribs, and unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. The chips were served without any salt, and no salt was included in the takeaway bag, which made them quite unpleasant. Additionally, the ribs were not up to standard. They did not taste good and appeared to have been poorly prepared. They were cut into uneven chunks, with little attention given to presentation or overall quality. This experience did not meet the expectations I have come to associate with your brand. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and advise on how you intend to resolve it. I look forward to your response.

Had such an amazing day here. Everything was easy from the start booking was super easy and quick online and they confirmed immediately . The manager was honestly incredible, she went out of her way to make things special. She helped pull off my surprise with a dessert plate proposal for my girlfriend and even added complimentary shots, which was such a nice touch. The food was absolutely amazing!!!!!'The staff were friendly too, which made the whole vibe even better. There was live music on the day, which really set the mood, and the atmosphere was just great relaxed, fun, and just a really good time. Also, the prices are actually very reasonable and that’s coming from a student, Definitely coming back

So it was our anniversary today and we decided to have supper at tigers milk grandwest,we had such a bad experience.. firstly we were seated by one of the waiters and then we had to wait 10 min to get assistance, the waiter came and took our order ,we gave our order and the after a while she brought our drinks, and then she brought the food, the food was ice cold (we had burger and fries with onions rings) we wanted to add sauce on but then the holder with sauces had two empty tomato sauces in which we had shake some out to get some sauce.we were looking for forks to eat with but there was only knifes in,when we were done eating we looked for serviettes or wipes but there was nothing I went to another table and took wipes from that table,we have never experienced anything like this by any other restaurants.tigers milk I'm sorry but i won't be dinning by you again.

A whole **** in my opinion. My husband and I went the for a networking event. I ordered Quesidillas for R130 and my husband a pulled pork Burger for R185. I was brought a side plate with 4 or 5 small triangles of what looked like toast or bread, with the thinnest filling. I didn't even bother trying to eat it because there was no way I was paying R130 for that. My husband also ended up having to send his burger back because it was so dry he could hardly swallow it. I have had amazing, filling Quesedillas for much less. We've had amazing burgers at other establishments for much less. Their food and drinks are overpriced and underwhelming and the music is too loud to even be able to have a conversation. I don't think I'll ever go to another tigers milk in my life!!

I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your establishment. Upon arrival, I was seated by the hostess and provided with a drinks menu. After some time, I called her back to request a food menu; however, I waited in vain and was ultimately led to get up and fetch one myself. This lack of attentiveness set a poor tone for the rest of my experience. After placing my order on a weekday, I waited approximately 45 minutes for my food, which I found excessive given the circumstances. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that your venue does not provide charging points for guests. As my phone battery was low and I needed to request an Uber, I asked a waitress for assistance. She kindly offered to help by charging my phone, but returned about 10 minutes later to inform me that the manager, Bongani, had refused permission. I was shocked by this response and explained that I only needed a few minutes of charge to arrange safe transport home. As a female customer, being denied such a small and reasonable request especially one related to personal safety felt extremely dismissive and lacking in empathy. I was left feeling stranded and unsupported, which is both concerning and deeply disappointing. Due to this experience, I am seriously reconsidering ever returning to or recommending your establishment. I am also considering sharing my experience on social media to raise awareness, particularly for other women who may find themselves in a similar situation. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address these issues to improve your customer service and ensure the safety and comfort of your patrons

Lets start with the fact that I won a voucher during a quiz night in November and in January I had to ask to receive it, while being accused of lying. Finally receive my voucher and book a table for Valentines night. Confirmed the booking on 13 Feb for 18h00 and when we arrived I was informed that even though I booked and confirmed we do not have a table because they are very busy. After telling them it is unacceptable we got a table after 10min. 15min later we gave an order for 2 milkshakes, calamari and nachos. 50min later the food arrives cold and no milkshake...saying that we should just wait because the restaurant only has one blender. We had no cutlery and when trying to request the waiter we were ignored. My partner then proceeded to walk to the bar counter requesting that we need takeaway boxes as we decided that we would rather go through a drive through at the same mall. We received the boxed and the manager came over and said we should understand they are busy as we can see and that instead of a coffee shake and chocolate shake they made us oreo shakes. We decided to walk out. Went through McDonald's drive through and within 15min we had warm food and 2 milkshakes... No wonder the branch in Parkview in Pretoria east closed within a year after opening.
