Harassment via sms for someone else's account!!!

Getting sms's for someone else's account. I am being harassed by SABC TV Licence via sms. I have contacted them on every single email and telephone number possible. I AM NOT NAIDOO!!!! THIS PERSON GAVE YOU THE WRONG TELEPHONE NUMBER!!! Account Holder: NAIDOO Account: 112 876 28 PLEASE UPDATE YOUR RECORDS!! The telephone number you are using is NOT for the account holder, it's for a totally unrelated individual. I have contacted the SABC TV Licence offices in every way possible!!! Telling you that your details are incorrect but I have been ignored. Can someone just please do one thing for the salary they're being paid. Fix a telephone number on an account! That is it!

SABC TV LICENCE DEPARTMENT and VMM working together to take people's money *****ulently.

My husband and I have a SABC tv licence for years now. In 2024 we moved to Heidelberg, Gauteng. Our tv broke and we bought a new one from Game. Instead of using our tv licence, Game opened one in my name without my consent. Now VMM, the Debt firm for SABC keeps on telling me I owe money. They told me first it was R318, then they made the new amount R344,50. They are threatening that they, VMM will give me over to the Credit Bureau. I did send on two occassions my info to SABC tv licence, asking them to keep our old account and cancelling my account which is *****. I also did pay the R344,50. Now VMM keeps on threatening me and the SABC tv renewals department do not come back to me.

SABC TV LICENSE IS A DISGRACE TO THE CITIZENS OF SOUTH AFRICA.

Who the hell does the *********** SABC TV LICENSE DEPARTMENT think they are? On 26th February they sent out TV License Renewal Letters via email. And today they send out a FINAL NOTICE PRE-HANDOVER EMAIL. Who do you think you are and how dare you threaten me. Millions of South Africans DON'T PAY their TV Licenses. And yet those who do the SABC has the audacity to threaten. Is it any wonder that the SABC is in the financial mess it is in. You ungrateful incompetints.

TV Licence

Again they have emailed me about the TV Licence which IS NOT my number threatening to hand me over. They are using different Initials and surname from mine, so how on earth have they got my email address?

SABC bad Administration

After 14 years the SABC TV.LICENCE Department wants money from me for Tv licence not paid.I have already inform them with more than 3 affidavits that I already cancel my Tv licence in 2012 and that my wife is the only holder of a Valid Tv licence.till today!!but still they Victomise me every second month with email to pay the outstanding amount.Everytime they make contact with me,they use another person or Department!!I dont own them money so Im Gatvol for this ******* SABC,If already send them the proof!!!

I’m being harassed by sabc tv licence

I would like to report sabc tv licence I reported that I lost my television due to house breaking 2018. They even asked for the case number I provided them but now they are harassing me.

Harrassment by SABC

I am someone who pays my TV Licence on time every year. I am now receiving repeated, harrassing SMS's from the SABC for some other person I've never heard of telling her to pay her TV Licence. No matter how hard I try, I am unable to stop these fools from sending these harrassing messages

Months of Trying to Cancel My TV Licence – Now Listed with Credit Bureau!

I am beyond frustrated with the shocking service from the South African Broadcasting Corporation TV Licence department. For the past year and a half, I have been trying to cancel my TV licence. I have followed every instruction given to me by various agents. I have made numerous phone calls, submitted the required documents as requested, and comp**** with every process communicated to me. Despite this: I continue receiving outstanding balance notifications. Different agents provide conflicting and misleading information. My cancellation is never finalized. I have now been listed with a credit referencing agency, which has severely damaged my credit profile and negatively affected my life. This has caused unnecessary stress, reputational damage, and financial prejudice. The most recent agent I spoke to, Sihle Dube, refused to escalate my complaint or allow me to speak to a supervisor. I was denied the opportunity to log a formal complaint. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. How can a public institution treat consumers this way? I have done everything required from my side. Yet, instead of resolving the matter, SABC has chosen to penalize me and damage my credit record. I am demanding: Immediate confirmation of my TV licence cancellation. Immediate removal of my name from any credit bureau listings. Written confirmation that my account is closed with a zero balance. A formal response from senior management. If this matter is not urgently resolved, I will be escalating it further through the appropriate regulatory and legal channels. This level of incompetence, misinformation, and refusal to escalate complaints is unacceptable. I expect urgent action.
