I bought a brand new Peugot Landtrek (Bakkie) in January 2022. 6 months later , the car had to be booked in for a whole week because the aircon was not working. In late November 2022, the car just stops working in the middle of the highway . They run tests on the car for the whole week without communicating properly with me . I had to beg them for a curtsey car. The centurion dealership manger is the worst person alive and has no concern for customer service what so ever . Then they tell me that my brand new car that is less than a year old needs an engine change and this will probably take the whole of December . That's when they gave me Polo to drive meanwhile I already had plans that included a 4x4 but they don't care about that . Its now mid February 2023 (almost 3 months later ) and I am still driving a high risk polo while paying R12K a month for a car that is sitting at the Centurion dealership waiting for an engine change . I regret ever buying this brand . The dealership make no effort to communicate with me .
I had a revolving loan with Standard Bank that was fully paid at some point . I then used some of the funds and paid back within 10 day because they called me over 8 times saying my account is overdue and they would not stop calling . Then I fully paid back the loan . Today , My credit record shows that they blacklisted me and said my account is in arrears. When I call them, they say their records show that I have NEVER defaulted on the loan . So how does this loan show on the credit bureau that I defaulted ? They are saying it will be updated in a few month to show that I didnt default but they cant tell me why it's even appearing ? I never expected this from such a reputable bank Now i cant apply for other credit because of their incompetence .
I ordered blankets from HomeChoice website in 2019 in which I paid cash . Buying from them is the worst thing you can do for yourself because once they have your details they will abuse them and literally call you everyday to tell you about their promotion. As if that was not enough, I have never applied for credit from HomeChoice but they are running enquiries(that show up on Experian and XDS) on my credit record TWICE WITHOUT my consent and knowledge . Enquires are supposed to be done when I apply for credit from you . I have never applied for credit from you and what you are doing is against the law . I have reported this matter to NCR because this is fraudulent and illegal and contravening the National Credit Act and I hope your credit licence/certificate gets taken away because you are abusing it .
DHL charges a flat rate of R200 on international parcels disguised at Import duties and VAT . They call this charge " ADVANCE PAYMENT " and I think its a way for this them to scam consumers and get money out of them . I am not even sure that its legal because when they email you , they call it CUSTOMS & VAT . I was surprised to see a CUSTOMS and VAT payment of R620 when I paid R830 for a parcel only to found that R200 of the R620 is going to DHL when the shipping cost was already paid? I will not be buying from vendors who use DHL going forward . I don't have this problem with ARAMEX or Buffalo .
I gave notice to move out of my place on 21 February 2018 to say I will be moving out on 31 March 2018 . This is more than a months notice and my lease states that I can give 21 working days notice and I will be charged a cancellation fee of R2950 . On the day of inspection , the lady who was supposed to do the inspection did not show up and gave me some excuses ,knowing very well that I had a flight to catch as I was relocating . Needless to say that the "damages" found in the apartment were exactly the amount of deposit . Her not showing up was essentially to make sure that I dont get my deposit back . Then these people charge me 2 months additional rent for breaking my lease and added cancellation costs and costs of a garage that I never requested/used/know anything about . They expected me to pay close R28 000 for cancelation of my lease even after I gave them notice. I cannot pay rent for a place I did not live in . I gave more than a months notice . They have now blacklisted me through a court judgement for the costs that they just inflated . What I would like to know is that ,is it legal to blacklist a consumer for cost of something they never used ?I have never defaulted on my rent . Never . Blacklisting someone for something they have never used?It's not debt that I incurred . I gave more than a months notice . Secondly , I was not even summoned to court or anything like that but a judgement to my name has been taken ? I have lodged a complaint with the rental tribunal and I will be consulting with a lawyer as I don't think its legal and I think its against the CPA . They go by The letting Corporation/Invitation Homes /Kloof Joint Venture Day light robbers taking advantage of consumers .
My Discovery credit card has charges as high as R500 called “ migration “ charges for three months and I’m assuming this is for when Discovery left FNB but Why am I being charged these fees??? I called a consultant and he said their system allocated a lot of fees to clients and they would reverse these fees however it’s been 3 months and still no reversal . Meanwhile I’m busy paying my credit card and the balance doesn’t change because there are charges that don’t make sense . Fix your systems !!!
I have been with standard bank for over 11 years and last month my bank account was “ upgraded “ without my knowledge or convent . I never agreed to change the type of account I have . I was happy with the account I have and you are changing my account unprovoked !!! All I see if that my monthly fee is suddenly higher !!!!! I will be changing banks due to this as this is not how you treat customers . I received an email fr one of your bankers Adrian Sabapathy and he assured me that this was a glitch in the system and the fee would be paid back but this is not the case!!!!
I am extremely frustrated with Telkom. I tried to apply for a new Telkom phone contract via the Istore . While the consultant was trying to assist me , I found out that my ID number was attached to a name that I dont know and the person used my ID number to RICA more than 10 sim cards . I went to Telkom Store and they told me there is nothing they can do about the existing profile . They created another profile with my details and ID number . My frustration comes from the fact that I have to share my ID number with someone who is clearly committing fraud. The sim cards RICA with ID number do not have an address . How is this possible? How is it also possible that one person can also register so many sim cards all in one day ? Lastly ,surely Telkom can track on their system the person who registered these sim cards? I am unhappy about how lightly the staff takes this matter and the fact that it is so easy for someone to RICA sim cards with someones ID number WITHOUT a proof of address? This is concerning
<p>This company does not own the trucks . They outsource the trucks so they have no control over when your furniture gets picked up or arrive or if it will even arrive or not. I had an agreement with them to deliver my furniture on the 1st . They agreed and I made the mistake of paying them in full. On the 1st they ignored my calls and my furniture got delivered 2 days after the agreed upon time .No apology , no explanation , nothing.During this time I tried to call the office and cellphone number and it went unanswered or to voicemail . I was not impressed by their service . They have poor communication and I did not even get an apology from the company . Only the truck driver explained that they get outsourced and these details are not communicated . Poor customer service with peoples valuables in their possession . Would not use them again and I definitely would not recommend them to anyone .</p>
<p>I opened a Mr price Home account to purchase a couch. I bought a R13000(12000 credit+ 1300 cash including delivery) panaroma corner couch from Mr Price Home in Canal walk. After a week, the delivery guys showed up at my house with half the couch (two seater ) and the corner unit was missing. The delivery guys said the unit was damaged and I would be getting another unit soon. I followed up with MrP Home the following day and I was informed the units were out of stock and they would arrange for me to get the unit that is on display instore. They promised to get back to me . After a week of no feedback I followed up and I was informed that the unit instore is also damaged and I couldnt get that unit too. I am then informed they will send the delivery guys to pick up the couch and I will get a refund. The delivery guys fetch the couch after another week. Then I follow up to get the credit transaction reversed and get my money back. I am told they can only reverse the credit once the couch is at their deport . The call center agents and the store manager all say they will follow up and get back to me but they do not. I keep having to follow up. I was then told I would get my R1300 back and it has been 3weeks and I am still waiting for my refund. When I go and try and close the account , It shows that I have an amount due and they are flagging me for missing payments when the transaction should have been reversed.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have not recieved my money ,nor has my credit been reversed and my credit score is being *****ed in the process all for a product they did not deliver. Their systems also show that I must make installments to repay the couch I do not have .</p> <p> </p> <p>So I dont have a couch, I have "missed " an installment according to them and I cannot close this account.</p>
