I am extremely disappointed with Sparklight Gearboxes and the RMI’s lack of mediation. In Nov 2023, I paid R52,050 (Invoice INA56972) for a full gearbox overhaul. After traveling only 27,059 km, the unit has suffered a catastrophic internal failure (stretched chain and faulty valve body). Sparklight is attempting to hide behind a 12-month warranty, ignoring Section 55 of the Consumer Protection Act regarding "Reasonable Durability." They are now demanding an additional R43,000 + VAT to fix their own premature failure. Despite involving the RMI, my correspondence has been ignored for over 24 hours

What exactly are we paying for Vodacom. Our WiFi has been down for 6 days now and on day 6 the communication we get is a ticket logged. I have a reference number but that is useless to me at the moment without WiFi. There has been no resolution, no meaningful communication and no sense of urgency, yet the account is expected to be paid in full. What is the point and purpose of Vodacom if customers such as myself pay for a service and dont get to use it whilst the lame response is "ticket logged". I have been patient enough. I expect a turnaround at 3:30 pm today 3 February 2026, failing which I will be compelled to escalate. Regards Ms Taunyane
Late Estate Outstanding for over 10 YEARS now - Unacceptable mismanagement by Standard Bank Estate Department
I was sold an expired milkshake and the staff kept convincing me I bought milk tart flavour until I said I have proof that of what I ordered. One staff member apologized the supervisor in her uncouth manner tried convincing a highly pregnant lady to just drink the expired milkshake. Utterly disgusting and poor.

Best service ever The stars aligned and gave given me Samkele from Mall of The South today wow wow wow. The only standard bank employee who knows what she's doing, effective, efficient, smart and helpful. The rest are reasons for me wanting to leave Standard Bank. Take my private banker Veni Gove der, it took 24hours to understand that I'm updating my details and still nothing was done, walked into Mall of the South, blessed with the amazing service from Samkele and boom done just like that. Why are your employees besides Samkele Cebisa so frustrating. Thank you Samkele I pray abundance over you and family, you deserve more your amazing.
Daylight robbery of deposit Moved out March 2021, timeously without hassle stayed at my unit for 24 months had one late payment in January 2021 made up by paying remaining months in advance plus penalties for late payments plus penalties of R500 to have my lights back on. Had one stain in the living room that could be washed off and wine stain on ceiling Angelique and Meta both confirmed thus, went as far as to confirm in email writing. Took 2 months to get back to me that I will not be receiving my deposit, here's the the kicker. The other two tenants who left same day as me, one was charged R450 for the same room and the other said it was less than R1000, but because it's me it came to R11000. This was concluded within 7 days of them moving out. They received a fair portion of their deposits timeously. When I ask for a statement/invoice they can't produce it stating it computer generated, however the other two tenants Recieved theirs outlying each detail that was done to the unit, but I get one that says you paid late in Jan etc. Reported countless times that the outside lights namely front door and carport lights died, only after I asked my neighbor to send a mail only then was it actioned upon immediately I was told the maintenance guy will be there within two weeks. Natrent, Meta and Angelique shame your poor in your conduct I'm let down, I wish I had reviewed comments prior to occupying the unit so I could prepare that I would get bamboozled out my deposit.
I'm disgusted and appalled at the way a mere cashier Marilyn speaks to her colleagues. That's gravelly disappointed how do you allow for such Street behavior. At 11:50am I was been served by Gary in the deli and she starts yelling at him whilst I'm busy talking to him. She must leave her ****** pots and pans and Home sies Maan if this is the type of behavior you allow in your store
