I have a Netstar eraly warning tarcking system in my vehcile. From the start I have struggled with false panics on the system the moment I drive my car. It is extremnely annoying to haver to expalin the sistuation to the call centre every time this happens. The Netstar "technicans" came out twice to fix the issue but both attempts were unsuccesful. The problem persisted and every time I got a call from the call centre I informed them of the false panic and that someone needs to come and try to fix it a third time. This never happened until this week when Netstar finally made contact again to tell me that my device is now out of warranty and it will now cost me in excess of R700 to fix the problem. This is laughable so I will be cancelling my services and moving over to another service provider.
I recently moived my Fibre from RSAWeb to Vodacom Fibre. What a great and seamless experience. I was connected the same day I called to enquire and to top it all the contract is month to month and cheaper than RSAWeb for a faster line. Highly recommended.
I have a Zeto five burner gas hob. Terrible cooking time and constant smell of a gas leak even though there is no leak from the gas bottle or pipes. Thinking of just throwing it away and getting something else.
They gave me approval for a claim. Based on this approval I went to replace the ****** items while I waited for the payment. They then changed their minds and refuted the claim. I referred it to their internal ombudsman as per their procedure. I have now waited more than a year for a final decision from their ombudsman! Stay far away. You have been warned.
If I could give zero stars I would. I had my luggage ****** from a rental vehicle in Cape Town and called the call centre who advised me to submit a claim under personal property on the app. Which I did. After not hearing back I called again and they told me they never received my claim even though it showed on my profile. I resubmitted my claim and after a while I was told that I should have submitted my claim under lost luggage. So I resubmitted my claim under lost luggage. I then received an email to inform me that my claim was approved and whether they can go ahead with the payout. I have my go ahead for the payout. After a few days I received an email to say that they made another mistake and that my claim does not qualify for lost luggage and therefore they will not be paying anything. Even after confirming that my claim had been approved! I will take this further but I’m sure they will use their large corporate power to fight this. The only reason I’m with them is because all my other investments and medical is with PPS (which they underwrite) but I have no choice now to fight this and change insurance companies.
I bought a new house with an existing RSAWEB/ Vumatel connection. I signed up for a new contract starting 01 January 2023. Due to a line fault it required a new Vumatel installation. I have made in excess of 15 phone calls and sent numerous e-mails to RSAWEB to try and get them to resolve the issue and activate the line but no progress. I have now been without internet for the whole of January and still waiting for something to be done to resolve this. As some other reviewers said, you have been warned. Don't sign up with them!
My vehicle went in for very minor repairs as arranged by my insurance company. The repairs were limited to replacing a small piece of plastic on the front bumper and fixing a small dent in the one door. After taking the vehicle in they took more than a week for what they termed "disassembly". I tried to call my service advisor to find out why it is taking so long and left a message. She never called me back. After another few days she did call me to inform me that my vehicle has now moved to "paint preparation" and that the repairs should be finished within the next 10 days. Eight days later the vehicle was still in "paint preparation". I again called and managed to speak to my service advisor who told me that it is normal for paint preparation to take 8 days! I asked her about why she then told me that the vehicle would be finished after 10 days and she just said she doesn't know and will ask her supervisor. She committed to call me back but never did... Eventually I collected my vehicle after three and a half weeks only to find out that the only work they did in the time was to replace the pice of plastic. even that was painted so poorly it looked like someone did it with a tin of spray paint. The dent in the door was not attended to at all because the booking agent "accidentally overlooked the approval". Now they called me after I complained and asked me to "give them another chance". So basically they want me to start the entire process again. Be warned! If you don't want to wait months for poor quality repairs on your vehicle rather take it elsewhere.
Good price and quality. Just be prepared to wait for a long time. My order was supposed to come in 5-7 days but took about two months. By the way, same company as Reliable Store...

I made a mistake with my booking date and as a result did not arrive to pick up the car. When I realised this mistake 2 days into the rental period I contacted them to cancel and request at least a partial refund. They refused and charged me in full for almost two weeks of rental. I have tried every avenue to ask them to consider at least a partial refund but they have refused point blank. It is clear they just care about making money no matter how unfair their policies are.
