I’ve had two orders now where the majority of items were out of stock and I get an email that R36 will be credited to my wallet for this failure. I see no credit in my wallet. Is this because I pay for Xtra Savings per month for free delivery? So I get zero compensation when others who don’t pay this subscription are getting rewarded? Also, please fix the rear and front lights on your motorcycles - and train the delivery person to ride behind the driver (right hand side) so he can be seen. The number of motorcycles I see, and don’t see, at night without lights is worrying.
The Bonaqua water bottles have started to use really thin plastic compared to just a few months ago. I used to buy them and use them for a while because they lasted long, and replaced them every month or so - but now they don't seem up to the task of being reused. Besides the lid being super-tight to remove, the bottles crumple when you sqeeze them. They used to be amazing, now they're just *******. Thin plastic, cheaper manufacturing, and by-design this means less reuse which means more money for the Coca-Cola company. Smart. But not helpful.
My mom swears she never had blood taken from her yet Lancet sends a bill. So we get on a call to ask them for details. They first couldn’t say which exact hospital the blood came from. Then after more prodding they got to an answer. So we decided to pay the invoice. I asked for a discount because she is 86 and this is just one of many medical bills she has to pay and they agree to 13% and give me the amount. I asked for a new invoice to be sent to pay on and they said not to worry they will marry the payment with the old invoice and apply the discount. Today my mom gets a message from them to pay R130 immediately! ***. These okes can go jump in a lake of their own disgraceful ********* behavior. I see many poor reviews for them. The really weird thing is that we got an invoice from another blood lab and we paid that. Then two months later lancet sends an invoice. Why didn’t they send it just after the event? My mom thinks this is very wrong and she doesn’t recall any bloods being taken. Let alone two labs being used. Inept and *********. This company is not one I will be using if I can avoid it.
They are good at staying on top of things. Really helpful and diligent. Had a good follow up call with Cheslene Otto today and I’m sure I’m in good hands.
Had a joyful exchange with Theresa Vuma, adding an item to my insurance. She was fast and efficient! Thank you, Theresa :)
I have a few problems - the diesel Creta that the salesman, Bongani, sold me was not available so I had to choose a different one. The only available variant in white was the 1.4T so we took it. That’s okay, we preferred the diesel but we did choose the petrol. When we got home and looked at the new car we noticed three windows smash and grab were scratched, the exterior of the car was scratched, the lights are not adjustable (for carrying load or pulling a trailer), and the driver door panel doesn’t eliminate at night. There were white parts-stickers on all the wheels and door handles and roof, and the headlights were aimed at the tree tops. I returned to the dealership with these issues, and was told that the headlight adjustment is no longer included in any new Creta. I would never have bought this car if I had known that. The salesman didn’t tell me when I added the tow bar either. The car’s purpose is to tow things, so this omission would have been a hard termination of the deal. I waited about three hours for the stickers to be washed off, two of the smash and grab windows to be replaced - they didn’t change the back one because they said the scratch would fix itself. And the headlights were adjusted to the lowest level, which means I couldn’t see much that night. I’m disappointed that we were handed over a car with some issues that should have been looked at - like removing the stickers and setting the lights to the correct level. But I’m horrified to know I have to keep a vehicle that the salesman knew I was going to tow with, and cannot safely tow at night because the lights aren’t adjustable. He also said there’s no run-in process, but the manual says to take it easy for the first 1000kms and also not to tow for the first 2000kms. Never again another Hyundai Creta.
I had the pleasure of dealing with the buyer, JP Morris. From first contact through to inspecting and then buying the car from me, JP Morris was professional, courteous and (most importantly) friendly to my dogs. I can highly recommend the efficient service he delivers for webuycars.co.za. Within 24 hours of first contact he had settled with the finance house, paid me the difference, and taken the car at a fair price that we were both happy with. What more could one ask for?
Sadly my dad passed away during his time at hospital. He went in an emergency as he had severe abdominal pain, ultimately passed away in hospital after the emergency surgery. Medihelp immediately terminated his membership and rejected all claims. He pays in arrears, so August payment was not yet due, it was due 31 August, and he went in on the 6th August. I called Medihelp and they said even though he was still covered, they terminate membership because the final payment wasn’t received. Huh!? Anyway, I paid his final membership and I’m not sure if their debit order at the end of August would have also gone off, but we are going through the claims statement. The total amount is about R480k and they are paying half. It’s the final medical event my dad would ever have, and for his medical aid to terminate his membership the minute he passed away, reject claims, and leave his family with a massive bill is sadly indicative of their role and place in society; it is not to be there for the members, but for the shareholders. I’m not with Medihelp, and I can definitely recommend not to be with them.
I have never made such amazing food, as I have done this week after signing up with UCook for weekly meals. My family is blown away by how tasty the meals have been, and I can't say enough how worth it this is. The raw ingredients arrived fresh, and the amount of food matches the number of people I have signed up for. Really happy to be using this amazing service.
Customer Service answers quite quickly, when I have pressed the buttons to get through to Retentions. But then each time I’ve phoned, the person on the other side says they are not Retentions, they are Billing. So they put me through to Retentions, and I’m on hold for 30-60+ minutes. In fact, I’ve not held on long enough to speak to anyone, it’s been that long and frustrating. I need to move 3 of lines to Prepaid. Why aren’t they automatically switched to Prepaid once the contract ends? This is the source of the problem. If they automatically switched over to Prepaid once the contract/s ended then I wouldn’t have to try to call Retentions to cancel the contracts (which ended ages ago) and switch to Prepaid.
