I bought a year bundle and I've got about 38gig left. When I tried to extend it I found that I have to pay R749 to extend it for a month. A 50gig bundle cost about R500. So now my 38gig is expiring like milk left in the fridge too long.
Last week my team and I had a massive group at the Southern Sun ORT. I advanced the group and stayed there for three nights. The rooms are pretty much what you can expect for that price bracket. The service however was absolutely beyond expectation! Everybody was so super helpful and friendly, from Jones who checked me in to Sonto that served me my dinner. (oi, the list is too long: Barry, Isaiah, Ivan and more...) In short, the staff didn't just do what was expected of them, but they went above and beyond. Ulrich and Rudi had an amazing team there! Thank you very much for everything you guys have done to make our program a massive success!!!
In December I got a Debi Sure request on the ABSA app. This was not something I signed up for, so I declined it. Every time I opened the app it asked me to confirm it. I kept declining it. Then in January they started debiting my account. I contacted Absa and they just tell me to contact my service provider. I do not have an account with that company and never have. Later Absa tells me they can suspend a debit-sure for only three months. I keep telling them that it is a *****ulent transaction and I want it cancelled permanently and my money returned. Then I'm transferred to another department. Its been four months now and they have debited my account four times. If this is not resolved by Tuesday I am going to open up a case of theft against Absa.
After struggling with a call centre for a week, I past on Hello Pater... And get results! Thank you again!
On the 14th of December I paid my account using a credit card on the CellC App. On the 24th my line was blocked. After numerous calls and emails I was told that I need to forward my proof of payment. I paid using my credit card on their app. The system does not give a proof of payment. Then they said they see I'm having trouble making payment and I should EFT. I've paid already! Then I made second payment. Now they need to call me and telephonicaly verify it's me. When they call the line is just quiet and eventually they hang up and email me telling me they tried to call me. It's been a week now without being able to call. I'm in tourism and this is my busiest time of the year. I'm stuck without being able to call and arrange my work. I often but SIM cards for my clients and spend R5-6k on CellC per month. I will not be using CellC in the future.
I only have good things to say about Lekkerslaap and their hosts.
The Natures Valley Rest Camp in Tsitsikama National Park was an incredibly disappointing experience. It took an excessive amount of time to reach them by phone, and upon finally securing a bush hut, the odor was unpleasant. The ablutions were disgustingly dirty, and the kitchen was even worse. What prompted me to write this review was the sight of ******* scattered everywhere, including bottle caps that seemed to have been there for years, cigarette butts around the ranger's hut, and various other small debris. It was evident that no one had bothered to clean up in a long time. In just a 20-meter stretch, I filled a shopping bag with trash. The state of Natures Valley Rest Camp is truly disgraceful and revolting. I strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere.
Yesterday evening, our group arrived from Port Elizabeth to spend the night at Tsitsikama National Park. Knowing we wouldn't make it before the Cattle Baron's kitchen closed at 8 pm, I called ahead to see if they could accommodate us. Instead of simply taking our orders before closing, they kindly extended their hours to serve us. I placed our orders and called them at 8:45 pm, just before our arrival at the gate, to begin cooking. The food exceeded expectations, and the service was exceptionally friendly. While the setup may not be ideal, the stunning location and outstanding service more than compensate for it.
Atrocious Service!!! Both yesterday and today I was met by the most unfriendly security guard. I understand they are just doing their job, but surely they don't have to be rude. Today Eric was on duty. I came to pick somebody up and while I was on the phone to tell them I arrived and they can come out, he came out and attacked me telling me I can't park there. Never in all my years in the service industry have I met staff that are so aggressive.
I've been struggling to get hold of a company and finally I remembered HelloPeter. I posted a review and within two minutes I got a response from the company. Thank you very much HelloPeter team!!!
