After my last review last month I complained about Multichoice spam calls I keep getting. I asked Multichoice not to give my number to 3rd parties to sell me things I do not want. As before Multichoice is either selling private numbers to 3rf party agents or some one in the department is doing that for them. I got another call to day from a 3rd Party and I said that I do not want to get any sales calls. If multichoice is so desperate to beg for clients the reduce the monthly dstv rates and they will then get more subscribers
I ordered a small parcel from eBay on the 25.09.2025 and as per seller the parcel will arrive in 3 weeks, and if it does not arrive then as per eBay policy I get a refund. I waited the 3 weeks and seller said to give it another week so I said okay. After about 5 weeks I told the seller parcel has not arrived and they tracked the dates and arrived on time in South Africa but still refunded me. I received the parcel end of January, the parcel was delivered through the South African postal services into my home address post box. This is not the first time I placed an order and the post office never sent the parcel to date and it just vanished as it was tracked by seller until arrival in South Africa, this happened a few years ago. But good to know for future people using the post office fort postal services. I will not use the post office again for delivery or sending, I will rather pay extra for courier service.
On the 15/01/2025 I bought an item from GC Solar, received item in good condition but I some how misplaced my Tax invoice. On 05/02/2026 I contacted G C Solar and asked them if they could help me to get a copy of invoice, I only had my old email address and serial number to help G C Solar find invoice from the system that has since been changed. I give a 5 star rating to Claudia Borcea for making the effort to find my invoice and in no time Claudia phoned me to say she got it and sent of to me by mail. I thank G C Solar and specifically Claudia for helping me to obtain invoice. Good work and customer care
I keep getting sales phone calls from Multichoice / 3rd party agents who try to sell me additional insurance that I do not need. 2 weeks ago a lady called me and said Multichoice is giving away free Explorer decoders, I told her my decoder is not quiet right but I can contact a service centre, she said no need as I will be getting a new decoder FREE of charge. I said okay give me more info, I was told I will receive it by courier and then she asked me for my bank details, I told her I am not home now but email me all the details to look at it later, she persisted that I to do it now so that I do not loose the offer, she asked on what day should the debit order be deducted, 25th or 1st. I told her that Multichoice has got all my details for debit details and I am not giving private matters over the phone, she mentioned that she can send me a message to get her to link into my account, I said that I will not do that It is private info and DSTV has all my info and why must I have two debit orders if the decoder is free. She mumbled something that I could not make out so I ended the call. She called again and I blocked her number and a day later I got the same call on another number, I new now this is a **** because she asked for banking details. SO I ASSUME THAT EITHER MULTICHOICE IS CALLING PEOPLE TO **** US OR MULTICHOICE IS GIVING / SELLING 3RD PARTIES CUSTOMERS PRIVATE INFO. GIVING MY PRIVATE INFO TO OTHER PEOPLE IS ILLEGLE AS PER POPIA ACT. I HAVE PREVIOUSLE ASKED DSTV TO REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER FROM MY ACCOUNT SO THAT I DO NOT GET ****MERS CALLING ME. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ****MERS KNOW MY NAME, ADDRESS AND WHAT IS ON MY ACCOUNT, AMOUNT OF DECODERS, EXTRA VIEW AND SO ON. IT CAN ONLY COME FROM DSTV OFFICE OR SOMEONE IN THAT DEPARTMENT GIVING/ SELLING CLIENT NUMBERS. THIS MUST STOP PLEASE
I recently bought fuel at Engen Kroon ( Kroonstad ) and they offered me a rewards card with 40 cents off per litre each time I fill in at Engen Kroon. But this rewards card only works at Engen Kroon and no other Engen filling station. so I declined as I only fill up when I go to family as we do not have an Engen in Parys . My suggestion to card Engen is to have an Engen rewards card that works at all Engen filling stations for those who have to travel and could in this way earn fuel points. This card will not over ride ebucks and Clicks, so it just means these points can be earned with all rewards offered at Engen, many clients do not have ebucks or clicks
I have given DSTV a 1 star because of the news going around that we most probably be loosing Discovery channel So all my Gold Rush series and other series will be history and not happy about this. So it will be likely that I give up my subs. DStv seems to be going downhill without any brakes. The tabloids gave us the impression Canal+ will save DSTV, we wait and see

I have been comparing Takealot to Amazon but I just have found a larger selection of choices from Takealot and the satisfaction of shopping with peace of mind.
Good day Sanral, this review Is a concern on our cuuntry road conditions, I am aware that it is not your problem but some one higher up has to step in and do something about this critical condition. R57 between Kroonstad and Vredefort is a disaster with occasional patching done that does not last due to traffic and heavy vehicles. R59 from Vredefort to N1 is in a mess, our cars are constantly getting flat tyres with ****age, this stretch of road from Parys to N1 highway was repaired I assume by Free State roads department not 4 months ago, the roads workers left the job as complete but potholes were still visible after they left and now they have multip**** due to heavy vehicles, the rain has not helped much because if there is a pothole it fills with water and the cars splash out the ground inside and they just get worse. We can't blame the rain because if there was no potholes the water will just wash away but now the slightest pothole gets bigger because of water and mud in the hole The contractor who did the patchwork just removed the top layer of tar and filled it up with bags of cold tar... You know just as well as I do that this will not work with heavy traffic and HMV's. It needs to be done properly as Sanral does it by removing all the tar, compacting and put a thick layer of hot asphalt. I just hope this review is noticed to get these roads done properly as Sanral does it. Stone and a layer of tar will not last long
I just bought fuel at Engen 4 the Nov and the fuel attendant asked me for my cell number and it was entered, I received a message to say I was entered in to a competition for Fuel for a year... I found on T& C's the the competition has ended in October. So I find this miss communication on Engen part and misleading customers to think they have entered a competition that no longer exists
Ebucks rewards Good gracious FNB what are you trying to do, you chop and change who you want as a partners on a monthly basis on ebucks rewards and the customers just have to take it. You leave makro and now you leave Checkers and Shoprite by the way who have more than double the clients that p and p has. Pick and pay has ucount and FNB and so does Spar and so does Checkers, 3 main shopping clients for Standard bank, so they know how to draw customers while FNB is kicking customers in the teeth. And now FNB comes up with a loosing scheme to decrease our rewards, it is better just to cancel ebucks all together then I will be done with this ****. To fill up my car each month I make the effort to go to a neighbouring town to fill up with engen because we don't have one in town. Sorry if that is how you treat your customers then what is the point in trying to get ebucks. The business idea is to attract customers , not chase them away. My opinion Keith Kenny
