Poor service and ****** workers at Engen Musgrave
Poor and concerning service at Engen Musgrave Motors car wash I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at Engen Musgrave Motors in Durban on 14 March 2026 at approximately 13:15. After paying for my car wash (receipt available), there was only one vehicle being washed and one vehicle ahead of me. My vehicle was next in line to be vacuumed. However, despite several staff members being present, no one came to vacuum my vehicle for a considerable amount of time. At one point there were three attendants working on a single vehicle while my car remained unattended. From what I observed, about five staff members were present, yet no one assisted with my vehicle. Eventually, only after I contacted the office did one of the attendants come to vacuum my car. After the vacuuming was completed, I moved my vehicle into the wash bay. Immediately afterwards, the vehicle behind me was moved to the vacuum area and attended to without delay. I only spoke to one staff member, Musa, who indicated that he did not know why my vehicle had not been attended to despite several workers standing idle. This experience left me feeling singled out and uncomfortable. I would appreciate it if management could review the CCTV camera footage for the car wash area around 13:15 to verify what took place. I would like Engen South Africa to investigate this matter and provide an explanation for the level of service I received. As a paying customer, I expect fair and respectful treatment.

BAD CUSTOMER CARE / FOOD NOT UP TO STANDARD - WIMPY
No response from management (Matthews Munzhedzi) or follow up to customer after the below complaint: I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a Quick Bite meal I purchased from Wimpy Engen Bryanston on 21/02 at approximately 22:30. When I collected my takeaway order, the server informed me that they had run out of the small buns normally used for the Quick Bite meal and that they had substituted it with a larger bun instead. I accepted this in good faith. However, upon arriving home and opening the burger, I was extremely disappointed to see that the larger bun was paired with the small patty. As a result, more than half the bun had no patty at all and was completely dry. This was not only unsatisfactory but also felt careless and misleading. The most disappointing part is that I work in the building next door (372 Main Road – The Crossing), and I support your store almost daily. As a regular customer, I did not expect this level of service or lack of quality control. I am very upset by this experience and would appreciate this matter being addressed urgently. I trust that you will investigate and advise on how you intend to resolve this issue.

express my deep anger and frustration about the poor service I received at your Bela Bela Sonskyn Engen garage on 10th March at 11:20 am. I usually do not like to complain, but the incident that took place has left me deeply disappointed and agrieved. I had requested your attendant to fill in 250 liters of fuel in my Opel Corsa utility vehicle. I had clearly mentioned the amount on three occasions, but the attendant seemed to be least bothered and careless about my request. Not only was the service poor and unfriendly, but the attendant also overfilled my tank, despite my protests. He continued to fill the tank to the brim, without even stopping to check if it was the required amount. To my utter surprise, I found out that he had filled the entire tank, which I had not asked for. I cannot emphasize enough on the fact that I had explicitly asked for 250 liters worth of fuel, and the attendant disregarded my request, which clearly shows a lack of control and professionalism. I am greatly disappointed with the service I received at your garage. Your attendants were unprofessional and rude, and the whole experience has left me feeling unhappy and dissatisfied. I urge you to look into this matter and take necessary actions to ensure that such incidents do not happen in the future. I have always been a loyal customer of your garage, and I hope that you will take my complaint seriously and work towards improving the quality of service at your station. Engen garage on the R24 after Waterfall Mall in Rustenburg near Roan ridge.. if you going to only attend to the first 3 pumps, why did you build the rest. Saw 3 cars being served when they came after me. I eventually left without service because wow!
