Raised a query regarding a ****** comment by an Engen employee whilst visiting your service station in Tableview, Reitvlei Service Center. Was contacted by a good for nothing customer service representative named Roza that advised me that my matter was being escalated and then didn't care about my query, after reaching out she then gives me feedback that does not address my concerns. Really ****ed off now, wasted my time dealing with someone that does not understand simple English and clearly does not know what she is doing, Engen is absolutely the worst, they are terrible at every level. My advice, stay away, use any other service station, they are rude, ****** and they are ***** in terms of how they conduct their business.
Hi guys. I would like to share an extremely disappointing experience I had earlier today when I visited your service station in Tableview. I dont use my vehicle that often but decided to start her up and take her for ride today but noticed that somehow the petrol seemed to be on empty so I made my way to get fuel and grabbed one of those 5litre bottles or containers whatever we can call it, and made my merry way to your service station to purchase fuel, the attendant asked me to get approval from the manager to fill up or needed to purchase a gas can from them. I decided to go inside to speak to the manager, they were in a meeting and I was asked to wait which I duly did as requested, after a while a gentleman approached me to find out what I needed and I explained my situation to which he advised that instead of keeping me waiting he would get the manager, the 2 gentleman came by and I explained my situation to which the manager advised that due to a national rule passed on to the service station they cannot sell petrol in an oil or water container but can sell it in a can which seems strange to me but I didn't want to argue, I respected that he was only doing his job and I had no reason not to trust him. I am certainly for people that follow rules even if it doesn't make any sense to me however it just seemed like a way to ****** money out of people in a vulnerable situation, you guys want to sell me a container so that I can then buy fuel from you, I have not heard of anything so absurd before. This is where it gets crazy, at first I didn't understand when the guy said to me that it is because of "you people in Phoenix and the riots in Durban, they are not allowed to sell fuel in a container" (That contradicts what you just said about me buying your special bottle, doesn't it?) I mean, I live in Capetown and honestly I actually feel this is ****** and stereotypical to say things like this, Why? Is it because I look a certain way? Guys, we are living in an evolving world and I feel that we should respect everyone, I am a paying customer and feel terribly upset by the way I was addressed, treating customers in this manner is unspeakable, I am lost for words to explain how deeply saddened I am by the way I was treated today. This is a sensitive topic but the remark that my people were rioting in Durban I really think this is sick, what next, Jews /christians and Muslims start a war in our backyard because Israel and the US attacked Iran, are we that foolish? Really, because I don't see why we should be bringing this here, how this becomes an issue in a totally different province altogether, Am I going to throw petrol from Capetown to attack someone in Durban, where is the logic, at some point we have to agree that this is complete nonsense. I don't understand too much of the situation in Durban and choose not to comment however after my experience I did take the time to do a bit of research afterwards and it is so sad that people have lost their lives but I am not sure if I missed it but I have not found any articles online where petrol was used as weapon, I think there were some vehicles that caught alight but don't cars already have petrol in the tank? I don't know but if I ever think of starting a fire, I look for a bunch of old newspapers or some blitz firelighters and I get my braai going. All joking aside, I would also like to understand the logic, Engen will not sell me petrol in my can but would sell me petrol using their can which I needed to purchase from them, if there is a restriction is selling fuel, it doesn't make any sense, wouldnt I still be able to use your can with petrol to go on an arson rampage? Not sure but seems quite ***** to me, you agree? Think about it people, we face so many challenges in our lives every day, rising costs of fuel, food and everything else we need to stay alive, then we have managing all the work and personal stress, the last thing we need is to be treating each other with hatred in our hearts and that for absolutely no reason whatsoever, have I met you before, No, have we ever had any issues, No, Do you even know my name or where I am from? No, we have never met before but you hate me because I look a certain way. Guys, honestly this is stupidity at its highest level, As South Africans we need to leave the past in the past, if we go back and look at our countries history, there has always been disagreements and conflicts and many lives where sadly lost, this is not even racial but also political and if we don't learn from these we are never going to stop fighting until there is nothing left. History is not there to separate us but it should be there to teach us, I feel we should be helping each other instead of hating people you don't know for no reason whatsoever, you will never know but one day you will probably need that persons help. Engen really needs to educate their staff on how they need to behave when on duty and wearing that uniform represting the company but also on how to speak to people, I am open to understand that people will always have their own idea towards this but I do believe that we should respect everyone. Its really so, so disappointing, utterly heartbreaking and extremely disturbing, to think that I actually visited this service station so frequently as I live in the area and now I just feel so unsafe not knowing if I am going to be attacked whilst visiting this service station. I am a not a very young person anymore and I know that times are changing and society is evolving, I just hope that people can stop hating each other based on race and come together so that we can all use our own quantities, qualifications, strengths and values to make South Africa a better place to live in.
These guys are a bunch of *******, I purchased a bunch of stuff that were never tested for me before I left the store and when I got home the items do not work. I returned to the store the next day as the items had a 7day return policy at which point they manager advised that there is nothing that can be done. Thousands of rands down the drain and no way I can get a refund on the damaged goods that were sold, I took the items to a technician and he confirmed that there are parts missing from the items and others swapped out with other brands. Guys, please don't ever buy anything from cash crusaders, they just want your money and after the sale they dont care about you. Money that you have worked so hard for, sacrificing to purchase the things you need and then you get ****** by this company, only now that it is too late have I learnt how many others have also been ****med like this by cash crusaders. They are running a big **** and all they do is just ***** from hardworking and honest people.
I have been a long time client to Hollywoodbets and today was the worst experience I have ever had. I reached out as per the app updates advising pending payments and requested to speak to an agent, I was directed to Thandeka L, after explaining my issue she asked me if I would like to have the issue escalated to which I agreed, she then rudely returned and said it was a typo and it cannot be escalated. This agent has no chat etiquette and showed no interest in doing her job, how does Hollywoodbets employ people like this, I feel so upset and will not advise people to join.
Absolutely pathetic service from KFC Bloubergstrand, I am a regular customer to this store as I live in close proximity but this was the worst experience I have ever had, I placed an order for a KFC meal that included 2 no sugar fountain sodas, I am not a big fan of that so I decided to pay a little extra to get the normal soda instead, once the order was ready the cashier with no people skills whatsoever rudely stated that there is no cooldrink and no water, they only have cream soda, I was not happy with that and opted to just get my refund for the extra and paid as I did not want the cooldrink, the cashier refused to give me my refund and that is when I realised that this person does not care about customers and she is going to give your store a terrible reputation, there should be no place for people like this in the front of your store, you should teach your staff how to speak to customers and how to handle queries as this person was so frustrating to deal with, hated my experience, yesterday I also visited the store and they also did not have cooldrink but the previous employee was professional and we could have a polite and decent conversation and managed to come to an agreement. Have to hand it to the supervisor that was on duty that was speedy to assist but overall, it didn't need to be a miserable experience for anyone, I think my request is well and truly fair, the store does not have what I am paying for, simply return my money and keep the item that I do not want, I am saving you money by not taking the sugar free fountain soda. I can understand that an item might not be available but what I can't accept is a rude person giving me grief and speaking down on me like I am in the wrong or I am asking for more than I am paying for. I am a grown man, I have children that are probably a lot older than this young lady and I am so disappointed, gosh, I am so unhappy and advise the owners to train their staff accordingly, my advice is to immediately move the employee to the back so she does not deal with customers until she is trained on how to speak and how to deal with customer queries.
I had the lovely pleasure of visiting Bossa Sunningdale (West Coast Village) earlier today and oh my, I am so happy to share my experience, I was assisted by a lovely gentleman named Cameron and he was such a joyful presence, super friendly and down to earth, offered the best recommendations and represented the store with pride and quality, it is for this reason I would like to take a moment to share my 5 star review with everyone, I am also happy to acknowledge that the manager that was spoken so proudly about by the lovely Mr Cameron also took the time to acknowledge and greet when I entered the establishment to use the restroom inside, I felt an incredible sense of satisfaction and felt noticed which was great. Im pretty sure that the others also have splendid skills but for me, Cameron deserves 10 gold stars, this guy really deserves to grow in your business, want to wish both himself and the restaurant ongoing success, I will surely be back again very soon.
Visited your branch in Bayside mall yesterday, absolutely horrible experience at your bakery, staff don't care and clearly have no idea what they are doing, wait almost 30 mins just to get my cakes and pies packaged and priced because the assistant had no idea what she was doing, I was prepared to overlook it considering she was alone and clearly had no idea what she was doing, she also showed very poor listening skills and lack of interest in assisting but where I draw the the line is noticing I have been overcharged for 3 cakes yet I ordered 1, she mixed up the number of cakes for doughnuts meaning I paid for 2 extra cakes that I have not received, sharing my experience so people can be aware of this and to be extra vigilant when purchasing items from the bakery. One a separate occasion to this I had another poor experience whereby the lady at the hot dog stand dropped the roll on the floor and then picked it up and continued to prepare the meal and hand it to me, I made her aware of how unhygienic I felt that was and requested a new one which she then provided to me. Shoprite clearly have poor standards and I feel that it is finally time for me to speak up. Shopping experience is poor and I have lost all trust and credibility in this store, my advice is go to the Checkers in the mall instead or try the pick n pay or Woolies across the street.
Worst experience ever. Trust lost before even beginning, they are absolutely unprofessional and made the experience a horrific one, super frustrated dealing with a person that cannot understand simple English. Their email responses are also very unpleasant and unprofessional. My advice is stay away from these guys, there are many better companies available. Actually deserves a zero rating.
An extremely disappointing experience dealing with Letsatsi Finance, the application process has to be the slowest in the industry, a simple pay day loan for emergencies that is expected to take up to 24 hours takes 2 weeks to process an application without processing the loan, you will end up accepting the debit and not receive funds due to a delay in them providing you with an agreement leaving you waiting till you get paid your actual salary and no longer need the loan, the debit goes off, you need to pay bank charges to have this reversed and end up losing more in the end, the only positive for me is a friendly gentleman by the name of Lizo that has been very professional, I would certainly not recommend this company to anyone, stay away, there are much better companies online, try Unifi, Lendplus, sunshine loans, fast instead, these are some of the tried and tested providers that actually works, they are quick and secure, application with them takes 5mins and funds in your account in a matter of hours
Absolutely the worst experience ever, my pregnant wife and I were working at and tied up at the office later than what we expected, we were both extremely hungry and really drained out, my wife had cravings for indian food and we placed an order from food inn India for delivery, after some delays the food arrived, the entire order was messed up and the food was in a terrible condition, besides being a mess we also found a dead fly in the rice, then we try to reach out and there are no reps responding, I have all the images and I will be posting it viral so people can see what services you offer, absolutely pathetic service.
