I was misled by a merchant, and Capitec failed to assist me. Capitec refused to escalate my dispute, leaving me financially and emotionally stressed. Despite providing evidence, Capitec did not resolve my misrepresented DebiCheck mandate. I feel ignored and unsupported; Capitec’s ***** department did not act. Capitec failed to protect me after a merchant misled me financially.
I was misled into signing what I was told was a SIM/internet deal. I am now being charged for a home maintenance plan which I never requested. I do not own a home, making this service completely irrelevant. This is clear misrepresentation and deceptive sales tactics. I have requested cancellation and a refund but have not been assisted. I will be escalating this matter further if not resolved urgently.
I deposited a whopping R210 trying to purchase a monthly voucher and I had forgotten about my extra time debt of +-R13. They took everything and gave me a 7 day voucher and my remaining balance was R20 MTN South African is a **** 😭😭😭😭
I received a call from an agent offering what was presented as a SIM card contract. At no point did I give clear or informed consent to any paid service or subscription. Shortly after the call, I received an SMS stating that I did not qualify, which I assumed ended the process. However, to my shock, an amount of R199 was debited from my Capitec account without my authorization. When I contacted the company to query this, I was given inconsistent explanations, including claims that they offer “home services,” which was never mentioned during the initial call. To make matters worse, the agent I spoke to was extremely unprofessional and went as far as mocking my personal situation instead of resolving the issue. They are ****s and I'm pretty much in trouble. They took more than what we have initially agreed on

These people are croocks who are refusing to reimburse the money that they took from my account without my permission. Now they're blaming Capitec Bank Ltd for being *********** and not allowing them to debit on the agreed date. Please refrain from taking an All life policy 🤞😭💔
They didn't want want to re-send money they stole from me
We had a simple agreement with them not to debit my account on dates not stipulated on my contract, I've had a the same thing done by them in December. Now they've taken money that doesn't belong to me. I've mailed them but it seems like they don't want to refund me and this was supposed to pay my child's educational trip. It's the middle of the month for me I can't pull any strings and this particular trip is of great importance as it adds to my son's year mark.
