I have serious concerns regarding my experience at Ignition Group, particularly around how employees are treated by management. I intend to share my experience here and on TikTok. In my experience, even when evidence is presented, management tends to side with certain individuals — including cases involving inappropriate relationships between Team Leaders and agents. Employees who raise concerns often feel their job security is threatened."

I was misled into signing what I was told was a SIM/internet deal. I am now being charged for a home maintenance plan which I never requested. I do not own a home, making this service completely irrelevant. This is clear misrepresentation and deceptive sales tactics. I have requested cancellation and a refund but have not been assisted. I will be escalating this matter further if not resolved urgently.

I received a call from an agent offering what was presented as a SIM card contract. At no point did I give clear or informed consent to any paid service or subscription. Shortly after the call, I received an SMS stating that I did not qualify, which I assumed ended the process. However, to my shock, an amount of R199 was debited from my Capitec account without my authorization. When I contacted the company to query this, I was given inconsistent explanations, including claims that they offer “home services,” which was never mentioned during the initial call. To make matters worse, the agent I spoke to was extremely unprofessional and went as far as mocking my personal situation instead of resolving the issue. This experience raises serious concerns about: Misleading and deceptive sales tactics Unauthorized billing practices Poor and disrespectful customer service

Excellent Service from Ignition Group Consultant I would like to compliment Ntobeka Phungala from Ignition Group for the excellent service she provided when assisting me with upgrading my contract. She handled the process professionally and explained everything clearly, making the upgrade simple and straightforward. The interaction was efficient, and she was patient in answering my questions. It’s always good to deal with someone who is knowledgeable and helpful. I hope her management recognises the positive customer experience she provides.

This company operates and conducts sales for uCONNECT. I spoke to them telephonically and informed them that I was only provisionally agreeing to their offer, subject to receiving and reviewing the full terms and conditions. After receiving the terms and conditions, I did not agree with them and therefore declined all the DebiCheck mandates sent to my bank account. I also sent an email clearly stating that I was no longer interested, and I verbally informed their sales agent, Lionel, of the same. Despite this, a registered DebiCheck mandate was still sent to my bank without my approval. I consider this conduct ********* and potentially *****ulent. I explicitly communicated my decision to cancel, yet my instructions were ignored. This matter should be formally reported and investigated. uCONNECT, please cancel the registered mandate you made on my account even after I told you that I am not interested.

Ignition group contacted me to do an MTN upgrade. EIGHT hours of phone calls back and forth and my 3 numbers are upgraded and a new debit order signed. Nov payment goes off as planned. December amount has changed and then my 3 lines are suspended and I am told I owe R2500 and in fact only one number was upgraded!!! I have to pay the R2500 or my numbers cannot be unblocked. This is YOUR mismanagement and I expect to be refunded for YOUR disaster

PATETHIC SERVICE BY MTN Between MTN and their 3rd party who they deal with - Ignition Group, I would never recommend anyone taking out phone contracts or doing an upgrade with them. Absolutely USELESS. For the past 3 weeks I have been trying to get my upgrade done, I have been sent from pillar to post, been given incorrect information, have had consultants make changes on my profile which has caused even more unnecessary nonsense. How can MTN first tell me that Mondo Sales is handling my upgrade, only for Mondo sales to tell me that MTN Retentions / Ignition Group are actually doing my upgrade ? It's as if every single person at MTN AND IGNITION does not know how to do their job, yet they happily take a salary home every month .... PATETHIC
