woolworths have now, since June 2024, slipped in an admin fee of r7,50 PER MONTH, no matter whether your account is R200 or R2000 not pro rata. So beware your are paying interest on your account per month (which is ok) but an admin fee on top of all this!! Just beware of Woolies and their charges,.
I need your help. I keep getting phone calls on my landline looking for a woman called J Kleimshmidt or Janssen. She worked for me a long time ago about 2015/16. She bought a lot of stuff from Talefberg and other places and I now keep getting phone calls looking for her. As soon as I speak, they hear my English agent and put the phone down so I do not know who is trying to get hold of me. I really need some help otherwise I will go to the police and lay a charge. I cannot even remember her correct name.. She is a ***** and is using my name as reference or counterfiting my name and signature
Bought a jacket on 16 July 2024. They said 3-5 working days for delivery to my house. I was home alot of the time and yesterday, the 5th day, I was home all day. Phoned CUMart this morning x2 and it is now the 6th day and NOTHING. The courier company said there was no one at home yesterday which is a lie as I was home all day.

Be careful of Takealot. They promise to collect a "returned" item due to defect. They set a date, you wait the whole day, they don't turn up. The switchboard ladies cannot help you as "they don't know where the truck is". They cannot escalate your collection as its not yet 5 o'clock. This is really poor service and I will not buy from Takealot again. I will wait for Amazon.com to come to South Africa in 2024. Really, really bad service.
Beware! I wanted an installation done which required a qualified plumber. RePair Team do not employ qualified people (maybe some are but they need that certificate that says QUALIFIED). Terrible service - they were late, didn't phone and when I phoned the compnay they did not answer the phone (I tried several times). When they finally did come, the supposed plumber asked the other guy to pass him a part on the dishwasher - he didnt even know what he was doing. I do not recommend this firm whatsoever. Dreadful.
I bought a "smart" tv on line via HiFi Corporation in August 2022. The screen is now going (one year later i might add!!) I have tried to get some help from both LG and Hifi Corporation but no luck. I would suggest to people not to buy LG TVs as they seem to give problems and there is no back up service from LG or, I might add,, Hifi Corporation
I bought: 1 chicken burger, 1 regular chicken pops, one large chips, one medium chips, 2 breast fillets, 1 chocolate milkshake, 1 strawberry milkshake. The chicken fillets were fried in old stale oil and had been sitting in their warmer for quite a while, they were tough and stale. Also I was not given ANY TOMATO SAUCE NOR KFC CHUTNEY SPICE - I wonder where they are all going??????????? Not a pleasant experience and will give KFC Pinelands a miss. All in all this was an expensive, disgusting experience.
Went to Standard Bank Pinelands and needed to make an overseas transfer but it was to Stanadard Chartered Bank in Johannesburg. They were SO UNHELPFUL and would not help me but gave a generic number to phone which is useless to me. In fact, this bank was so rude and unhelpful I am thinking of moving my account to another bank
Zonewatch insists that you pay UPFRONT even though you have paid fully for the whole year!! I paid on 14 March 2023 for a beam replacement and still they have not fixed my beams even though they have been to my house about 3 times. They tested the beams before they left but sadly and I say very sadly when they left, that night when i activated them they did not work and still do not. Now you need to believe this is a SECURITY COMPANY!! so you are let with no security - do you think this is correct and should we pay UPFRONT when the service is not worthy -- think about this before you pay upfront again. Really bad bad service. And do not pay UPFRONT before your service works, OK pay a deposit sure, but not the full amount. For them this is bad business practise
