I bought 4.pairs of Skechers over the past 3 years. Three pairs have holes in the material on the place where my big toe touches from inside. Such expensive shoes, I'm really disappointed at the inferior quality . I am a big fan but will shop elsewhere now. They've lost me as a customer.
I've placed an order online with Caperelief, and after nearly 2 weeks I still haven't received my order. I keep on getting automated responses from "Thandi". I've been ****med it seems. What a disaster. Don't buy from them.
I was called by someone who said they are from Vodacom and I won a prize, but to redeem it I had to purchase 2 vouchers from 1voucher - I was ****med out of R4967 1-voucher purchases, which the ****mers redeemed the same day. 1Voucher should alert potential buyers about this. People buy it unknowingly. Their website also doesn't allow for reviews - which is not good at all.
I bought 3 Bennett Read pots from Makro when I moved to a new apartment in Feb 2023. 4 Months later and the lids are loose and coming apart completely. Furthermore, they burn food so easily and the handles are hot to the touch. I definitely won't recommend it.
I placed an online order with Snatcher on 22 Feb 2023—no delivery as of 7 March. I wrote to them asking what was causing the delay and got an answer that they are trying to fill the order. I requested a cancellation of my order today, had no response yet. I've had previous successful deliveries from Snatcher, however.
I ordered a Sealy mattress and base on 28 Jan 23. I was promised delivery on 3 Feb. Written on the invoice. By 6 Feb, no delivery. I have to follow up all the time. I moved to a new house and am sleeping on an inflatable bed for the past 2 nights. I called a Regional manager today, however haven't heard from him again. The salesman wanted to bring me a queen size bed, when I ordered a double. Or a loan bed. Shocking service. Very disappointing. I asked for a refund, no response. Hoping to get the bed by end of the week, unless that's also an empty promise.

On Sunday 13 March myself and my granddaughter were shopping at Greenstone Mall, and I decided to treat her to a pedicure at Sorbet. I went to the shop and made an appointment for 13h00. When we returned at 13h00 the staff look puzzled and we waited quite a while to be seated. Eventually, when a lady attended to us she brought a bowl of hot water out, for a manicure, when I specifically booked for a pedicure. I told her that and the receptionist came to me and said I booked a manicure. I saw they didn't know what was going on and I told them I was just going to leave. I was very annoyed. The Sorbet branch in Greenstone is the worst I've been to, noisy and the shop was very hot and stuffy. I won't visit there again. To say the least, my granddaughter was very disappointed. She visits me once a month and I wanted to spoil her.
I frequently work for 1/2 hours from the Mugg & Bean in East Rand Mall, and always have a pleasant experience. Friendly and attentive staff and good food and coffee. I really feel looked after while sitting there. The Free wi-fi is a bonus! And the music is absolutely a pleasure to listen to, I really enjoy it. Thank you! Keep up the good service!!
I shopped at the Totalsports shop in Greenstone Mall on Sunday 7 Nov '21. I wanted to buy a netball for my granddaughter, and picked one from the basket. The music (African upbeat) was playing very loud in the shop and the cashiers were dancing to the rhythm of the music while helping customers. I stood in the queue for about 10min and then realised there must be a problem as the queue wasn't moving and I wasn't being assisted. I asked one of the cashiers if there was a problem and he didn't reply (couldn't hear me on top of the music). I repeated my question and he answered he would help me when done with the customer in front of him. I accepted and waited another 10 min. Eventually, my turn came, and then he couldn't find the barcode for the ball to ring it up. After a search in the cubicle for the barcode and calling his supervisor, he found the barcode on the computer on the catalog, after another 10min. To say the least, I was shocked to see such complacency amongst the staff, as if nothing was wrong. It was business as usual for them. Really disappointing.
