I visited the Santon Johannesburg shop today and had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I’ve ever encountered. The sales consultant who assisted me was absolutely rude and seemed completely untrained. I explained my foot condition and asked for guidance. Instead of engaging with me or asking any follow-up questions, she simply pointed at two pairs of shoes — no explanation, no effort, and not even asking if I’d like to try them on. While I was still speaking and asking for advice, she turned her back on me, walked away, and started assisting another person, flat-out ignoring me. A while later she could see I am still in the shop, but rather chose to "chat" with her fellow colleagues. That was a major red flag. I chose not to purchase anything because I refuse to spend money where customers are treated this poorly. I’ll rather support a store where staff take pride in their work and genuinely go out of their way to help customers. Very disappointing experience. Not recommended at all.

I bought 4.pairs of Skechers over the past 3 years. Three pairs have holes in the material on the place where my big toe touches from inside. Such expensive shoes, I'm really disappointed at the inferior quality . I am a big fan but will shop elsewhere now. They've lost me as a customer.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a recent purchase of sneakers from your store. Within just a couple of weeks of use, the shoes began to tear, which is extremely disappointing and reflects poor product quality. This level of durability is unacceptable for what should be a reliable, everyday product. I returned to the store to address the issue, where the consultant assisting me indicated that I should be eligible for a refund. However, after escalating the matter to higher management, I have experienced a lack of urgency and seriousness in resolving the situation. This has been frustrating and disappointing as a customer. In addition, I would like to highlight that I work in a professional environment where I interact with multiple clients, and we often recommend footwear brands. Based on this experience, it is difficult for me to confidently recommend your products moving forward due to the poor quality and unsatisfactory after-sales service. I request that this matter be resolved promptly, and that I be issued with a full refund or an appropriate resolution without further delay. Please treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves. I bought a pair of Skechers golf shoes and they lasted less than 8 months. The golf shoes I normally buy last upwards of 5 years so I was really not satisfied and will never purchase any Skechers products again.

I bought a pair of step-in Skechers and happily wore them for a few months. The one shoe started hurting my heel, and I discovered that there was a hole on the inside of the shoe. It was 3 months after I bought it that I took it back and said I want a replacement. It was send off and I was notified that I could come and pick out another pair of shoes. They did not have my previous pair in stock, also said they couldn't order it in from another store, and I had to pick something else. There was nothing I fancied, but no, they could return my money, so then I would have to pick tops or socks up to the value of R2250! Really! I thought that was pathetic customer service, after all, it was their shoes that gave in to start with! I ended up taking a pair of shoes I did not really like, plus some socks I did not really need.

Hi there. I wonder if you could help me. I bought a pair of sketcher for my son a month ago and the material on the inside of the shoe has already frayed. I tried to return it to the branch at mall of Africa however they’ve said it doesn’t qualify as a return as it’s not a manufacturing fault. While I understand that it’s not stitching etc that has come loose I find it hard to believe that for the price we paid for sketchers the material is not robust enough to withstand 3/4 wears. I was with my son for most of the time that he wore it as we were on holiday and he only used it while going out and not for sports or school etc. it’s very disappointing that we’ve wasted so much money on a shoe that doesn’t last when we’ve spent less on a school shoe that he plays sport in and wears everyday yet we haven’t experienced the same problem with that. The customer service was also really bad as I spoke to the manager Chris who was quite rude and brash. He blamed my son for hooking it in something which is clearly not the case when looking at the shoe. While I understand that usually kids are hard on their shoes. Surely an athletic shoe made for sport should be more robust?

I have just been ****med yesterday. I ordered shoes thinking this is a legit site. Saw the reviews on here too late. They have a way of taking your money straight out of your banking app WITHOUT the app first asking you to verify the purchase. Of course this happens right at the end of transaction, so there is nothing you can do. They ignore follow-up emails. DO NOT SHOP ON THIS SITE!!!

I have just been ****med yesterday. I ordered shoes thinking this is a legit site. Saw the reviews on here too late. They have a way of taking your money straight out of your banking app WITHOUT the app first asking you to verify the purchase. Of course this happens right at the end of transaction, so there is nothing you can do. They ignore follow-up emails. DO NOT SHOP ON THIS SITE!!!
