I bought a Bennet Read kettle from Game Potchefstroom on August 2025. In February 2026 the switch failed and I took it in for repair. It was sent to TEVO and according to the repair report they replaced the lid, steam shutoff mechanism and element. Since the the kettle was returned, it gives of a strong and unusual (synthetic/plastic) smell when the water starts boiling and a similar taste carries over into the boiled water. I returned the kettle twice, but TEVO claim that they do not smell or taste anything and refuse to attend to the problem. The result is that I now have a kettle that I cannot use, because whatever causes the smell and taste is most probably carcinogenic.

I bought a Bennett read blender last year around November haven't used it until this year march .....so disappointing the blender doesn't work i took to ok where I bought it,took it for repair more suprise they didn't fix it now again its back to the store for repair again im so disappointed in this brand and service 😞

Very disappointed in Bennett Read. My glass kettle developed faults despite minimal use and being in excellent condition. I lodged a complaint with photos and was completely ignored. After this experience, I started looking online and found nothing but poor reviews and customers being blamed instead of proper accountability and this is now my personal experience too. A brand is judged by how it handles problems, not advertising.

Theo at TEVO (Game Cresta) is an asset to the floor. While the store's general customer service was disappointing, Theo’s proactive attitude saved the day. He assisted me in finding a Verimark rep and later provided an incredibly knowledgeable comparison of various vacuum brands. His honesty and willingness to help, even with products outside his own range, was truly impressive. Highly recommended!

I bought a Bennet Read Cyclotech vacuum from Game Potchefstroom. My staff member damaged the Hepo filter. I spend whole day calling Tevo after Game Potchefstroom employee told me he doesn't have time.

I Purchased a Bennet Read High Pressure cleaner from Kloppers in George in Jan 2026. The machine works well. In April the plastic water connection for the hose broke as it is a very weak plastic part. On the 10th Of April I send a mail to Bennet Read service center, they responded on the 13th asking for a photo of the part to replaced....I have to pay for it although the machine is only 4 month old so the warranty means nothing. I did not even have a big issue about that I would gladly pay for the part as I want to use the machine. I even went so far as to ask them to quote me on more than one part as it is such a week part it is bound to break again. I send the photo back on the 13th April the same day. On the 22 of April I send a mail again asking for the quotation no response. On the 30th I send a mail again and got a out of office resonance with contact info for different service departments and parts centers!!! This is not what I have asked. Is it impossible for Bennet Read to get this simple task done! I am very disappointed with the service that I have received so far from them and would not recommend there brand to any of my friends or family.
