Lovely mattress but hot.
The mattress feels warm and comfortable, and after two months it still seems like a good choice. Sales service was good. It does need rotating every two weeks initially. We initially tried the medium firmness, but since we’re both side sleepers, the soft option works best for us. The two downsides are the mattress for a person who is permanently hot, is warm and so we bought the cooling protector. The cooling mattress protector was replaced after we complained, but it still feels oversized for the bed and certainly has not helped with the heat. I could not recommend this cooling protector, in fact a normal mattress protector will do the job fine.

Date night at the Reef shopping centre.
Lovely place and service for our date night. We paid R399 for a bottle of wine and 3-course meal with starters and dessert shared. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We buy Cars- all talk and no action
This is the reply you get when the Dome We Buy Cars breaks a reserve contract and takes 31 days to refund your R10 000. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our sincerest apologies for the negative experience you have had. We are busy investigating the matter and will provide you with feedback as soon as possible. Then silence. They hope you will go away. As a Financial Planner, I do not appreciate using our family's money to increase your income We buy Cars. To say nothing of the breach of contract when the caravan we had the reserve on was sold a day after we enquired why you were taking so long with the necessary answers. The lack of communication was colossal, you did not have the decency to phone and warn us, since the day before we were assured the reserve was held due to your tardiness. You will probably reply again and give a token phone call to tell us you will investigate to keep us quiet. This does seem the modus operandi. The Webuy Cars word is certainly not to be trusted.

We Buy Cars is doing ********* things with reserve deposits and can not be trusted.
We Buy Cars is doing ********* things with reserve deposits and can not be trusted. 28 December 2024 We found a caravan we liked at We Buy Cars the Dome. We were interested and asked about using our Brakhah Ingonyama caravan as a trade-in. We were told that the salesman could not give quotes and that another department would do that. We arranged for a buyer to view the van, on 31 December 2024 and he told us that bringing it into the Dome as a trade-in would probably get better value and we would have guaranteed payment. My daughter put down an R10 000 reserve on the caravan on December 31 as a result. We were quite happy to see the Brakhah Ingonyama caravan as we had an offer more than We Buy Cars had offered, but my husband and I felt the trade-in would pose less risk. When the Dome opened on 2 January we towed our van down as the trade-in. After spending most of the day there we got pushed from pillar to post. Finally, because the buyer Corne was on leave and the caravan we wanted had items missing we decided to take our caravan home and wait for the salesman to contact us as he promised. We waited, phoning continually, getting no answer on what was happening, but the salesman assured us our reserve was held until the outstanding issues were addressed. On 15 January, my son-in-law went in to ask about the situation, and again he was reassured the reserve would not be lifted while the outstanding issues were in place. 16 January my son-in-law got a voice note to say our reserve had been nullified, without informing us and the caravan was now reserved for someone else. My daughter who opened the account, placed the reserve and received absolutely no communication on the issues. My son-in-law went back and it was confirmed the caravan was no longer available and was no longer on the premises. We sent a letter on 25 January demanding to know what was going on. The online presence states: The Customer Care Department will investigate the complaint and respond within three (3) business days. This did not happen, but on the 31st January we managed to get the reserve deposit back after fighting for it. Bad manners, from We Buy Cars at best not letting the reserve holder know what is going on, but not refunding the reserve is dishonest. Think of how much interest they take in withholding deposits. In the financial world, this is completely against the law.

The porest quality products and worst customer service
I would not recommend anyone buys from this organisation unless it is a voucher. There is certainly no quality control and no customer service. We ordered two cardigan coats Order #561357 was confirmed 19 April 2024 and the cardigans were R189 per piece. On the 8 May 2023, since we had heard nothing we asked about the order and was told there was a delay- today after much fighting Order #561357: was delivered on the 3 June 2024. It was so disappointing as we were delivered two cardigans of a quality that is so poor that one already has a hole in it. Each time you complain you get this automated notice. It is frustrating to the extreme

Snatcher -pretty okay in the online shopping experience
Delivery is sometimes an issue, but on the whole, I feel secure using Snatcher, as they do follow through and exchange if required. I would like more details on some products, so it is great they are asking for reviews as these do help make purchasing decisions.

Clicks direct- uncaring but for payments
have phoned repeatedly, begged, and pleaded with the Clicks Direct staff to get my Tesar, Statins, and glucose test strips to me. I was nice enough that I agreed to hold off on the trustan in July, when my doctors gave me a new script, because staff said they wanted to complete the script in one go to save money- but when I should have got the medication on Monday, after inquiring and telling them on Friday to complete my script, nothing arrived. On Wednesday after my phoning them again on Tuesday, they sent Trusten, Magnesium, and Glucophage. Missing from the pack was potassium, vitamin B12, as well as the essential chronic medication of statins, blood pressure, asthma medication, and glucose test strips which were all on the same script. There was however a phone call to demand a co-payment on the chronic medication. I again stressed my dire need for the statins and blood pressure medication and the lady I spoke to then got hold of the pharmacy for an emergency delivery, which has not arrived by Wednesday 10 am. I am now 24 hours without the correct medication for a person who is considered at very high risk of stroke, heart attack and asthma attack. After contacting the medical scheme CAMAF with the reference number 295972 for advice with co-payment- I found it was because the Clicks Direct staff did not comply with our instruction to use the generic equivalents. Could they be any less caring and more useless- the mind boggles.

Snatcher- delivered but it was not a pleasure
Payment via EFT to Snatcher was not a success. It was done on the 14th and only captured on the 17 December, after which I was told the order would not be delivered in time for Christmas on the 23rd of December, despite me asking this question via email on 21 December 2021. the reference number is #486525. Dorothy Maake then said only orders placed before 10 December would be delivered which was stated on the website. When I placed my order it was not stated on the website, delivery time was 8-10 days. In the end, I received my package after much stress. I am not very impressed by the service.

How to get rid of your loyal customers.
ABSA is a word we use now for complete and utter disbelief in inefficiency. We have been customers since 1978 of this bank. We presently have four accounts with the bank including our Trust account and this Trust account resulted in each of our children and grandchildren also having accounts with this bank. This includes then getting house mortgages and the like through ABSA. I think it is fair to say we have been loyal clients and brought in substantial amounts to the bank despite problems with opening our trust accounts, being forced into mortgage insurance and having fees put on our savings account. We have stayed loyal throughout the years we have been there. However, the breaking point has been reached with the credit card saga. The complaint we asked them to fix. We had a Virgin credit card that was de-activated on the 11th March 2021, a circumstance I found out when shopping at a local store. This caused much embarrassment and problems. At this point, I received a phone call saying my virgin card was discontinued. My husband checked with the hotline and confirmed it was discontinued. We were rather annoyed and reported this to *** as the card was only to be discontinued on 31 March 2021. The service consultant. Yolande Viljoen who is the Specialist Case Manager: CEO & Exco Complaints, was put in charge of our case. This is what we received back. We have listened to the call recording and it would appear that there was a misunderstanding between the agent and your husband. He mentioned that you received an sms notifying you that the virgin card is being discontinued and the agent explained to him that the cards will no longer be in South Africa, and you can apply for any other product. He confirmed that his card is still working and asked if your card can be activated, she without checking said it is not possible as some cards stopped working in December and others will stop working end of March and we cannot change that. The call was then completed. So obviously the de-activation of my card and the resulting embarrassment was my fault! But it did not stop there. Now we had sent emails on the 11th March 2021 about a new credit card to premium card at ABSA, and this had been followed up by my husband, with the following questions: • Is the monthly charge of R62 /92 per account or per card? • Do we have to take a credit facility? • Bidvest visits are they per account a spend of R5000 or the premium cardholder? • Are there further transaction fees other than the monthly fee, for purchases? • Do petrol purchases carry a fee? • Buyers Protection theft, accidental damage or non-delivery of eligible purchases have a time limit on the items? Apparently, we are not deemed worthy of any response. Again we spoke to Yolande Viljoen who is the Specialist Case Manager: CEO & Exco Complaints, and she promised me they would contact me on the 1st April 2021, about the new card. Well in honesty I assumed it was 2021 because we have had no contact at all. Guess the only thing left to do is to start removing all accounts from ABSA and redirecting the debit orders.
