I bought some goods on auction (via their app), and when I went to collect them from the Durban branch, most of the items were missing! I filled in a form to be refunded and never received the refund – they probably lost those papers too!
I am extremely disappointed by the way Nedbank has handled my legal matter under case number 12302/2023. Before a default judgment was granted in the Pinetown Court, I made multiple attempts to contact Nedbank’s legal department to arrange a payment plan and avoid legal action. My emails dated 08 November 2023, 05 January 2024, and 16 September 2025 were either ignored or left without any meaningful response. As a result of Nedbank’s silence, a default judgment was taken against me - despite the fact that I expressed clear willingness to resolve the debt and even provided a detailed breakdown of my financial situation. This judgment has caused me severe emotional, financial, and reputational harm. I am a single mother who now cannot obtain any form of credit, which directly affects my ability to support my family and secure educational resources for my children. All of this could have been avoided if Nedbank simply acknowledged my correspondence and engaged with me in good faith. I have again written to Nedbank requesting urgent assistance, including whether they will consent to a rescission of judgment, given that my right to defend the matter was prejudiced by their lack of response. I am asking Nedbank to: Acknowledge the prejudice caused Provide a written response within 7 working days Engage with me on a fair repayment/settlement plan Assist in correcting the legal position rather than making it worse I have email proof of every attempt I made to resolve this matter before judgment was taken. I am hopeful this public review will finally prompt Nedbank to act responsibly. I’m incredibly frustrated with the process of trying to pay off my old credit card debt. Despite being ready to settle the amount, I was left on hold for 25 minutes without success. During that time, I was transferred back and forth between the credit card department and credit card collections no fewer than four times before I finally gave up. To make matters worse, I’ve been contacted by a company called Xcelerate Outsourcing regarding this debt, but every communication from them seems suspicious, making me concerned they might be ****mers. What am I supposed to do in this situation? Stay on hold indefinitely with ABSA, or risk paying a potentially *****ulent company? I’m eager to resolve this, but the process so far has been needlessly frustrating.
From what I understand, this company buys debt and then tries to recover it. However, I paid off my RCS loan through CSS last year. They offered me a 35% discount, and I paid the settlement. I also received a letter from CSS confirming that my account was settled. I can only assume that VeriCred is now trying to recover the amount that was discounted to me. Please stop calling me every day to recover money that I don't owe.
I received an email on 13/10/2023 from Nudebt (ref: ND1000254021) offering me a Discount Settlement Amount, which I accepted on 19/10/2023 and paid on 02/11/2023. I sent them the proof of payment to which I received a response with the reference number 1950089. Since then no one has acknowledged my payment and I have since received several messages stating "Notice of Judgement". I'm trying to fix my financial status and this isn't helping.

I've been with Dialdirect for years. I've been reasonably happy to have cover as they've been equally happy to take my premiums without me submitting any claims. Although, now my partner and I have decided to combine our cars into one policy with Dialdirect. So, I sent an email requesting that they cancel my policy asap as I am now covered under my partner's Dialdirect policy. Rather than just acting on my request; the representative tried to call me then sent an email saying that I must call him back. There's nothing to discuss. I want my policy canceled so that the premium isn't taken off of my bank account. Come on, Dialdirect! Please just do as I asked.
I want to commend the team at Dunlop Pinetown. I have been experiencing a knocking sound in my car and thought that it might be the shocks. After a thorough inspection they said that they couldn't find anything wrong. When I left Dunlop the knocking had stopped and I also saw that during their inspection they had sealed a hole in one of my tyres. All this at no charge. Thank you, gentleman!
<p>Before we could our Edcon card for the pharmacies in Medicross; now they have all been taken over by Clicks and they no longer accept this form of payment.</p> <p>I phoned Edcon and asked which pharmacy still accept this card as payment and was told by Kabelo to go to Torga Optical - I repeatedly told him that this is an optometrists.</p> <p>Please could Edgars let us know which pharmacies we can still use our edgars accounts at.</p>
