Very poor servise

My experience with Whitfields has been extremely disappointing. I first submitted my insurance claim and contractor’s quote in May 2025, and despite assurances that the payout would be processed within 5–7 working days once forms were completed, I am still waiting in September 2025 — more than four months later. After repeated follow-ups, I was told the delay was due to an email being left in “drafts” — an avoidable mistake that has cost me financially. My contractor’s original quote has since expired, forcing me to cover the increased costs myself. Communication has been equally poor. My phone number was on every email I sent, yet I was repeatedly asked for it, Instead of urgency or accountability, I received casual apologies and even emojis while my claim sat unresolved. This process has been stressful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend Whitfields to anyone who expects proper service, accountability, or reliability.

Where is my delivery? Will never buy again

The website says successfully delivered when I check the item's delivery status using the tracking number number they gave, but it's only delivered to another company who is taking a long time to deliver, it's incredible nonsense really I will not be ordering from you guys again!

The Vehicle Finance and estate department are giving me the run around

ABSA this is the worst customer service I have seen in a while consultants in the Estate department are hanging up on me while I need help, when I do get through they are referring me back to say department I have just been.

These people are a bunch of crooks, I am deleting this APP

I am waiting almost 3 hours now I can't eat, I can't get a refund from these people and they won't call me back. I call the restaurant they say actually the food is ready but the Mr delivery people will not collect.

The customer support is a Joke, how unfortunate

I am working from home and depend heavily an uninterrupted internet connection. Something happen with my credit card on new years that Vox either debited late because of the public holiday or my transferring of money too longer to reflect because of that. On Monday(4th) I called them and spent close 20 minutes holding for debtors department and never got through. On Tuesday(5th) someone finally called me and said they were going to deduct the money, On Friday (8th) I realized it still was not done I decided to do an EFT, On Monday(11th) I am now getting threats to cut my line, holding again for Debtors department approaching 15 minutes.

Change delivery date, to inconvenience me

Change delivery date, they promised to deliver on the 22nd but this n=morning they change it to the 23rd now the is a risk that I will not be available for that, I am very inconvenienced.
